Kroger

This Kroger is clean. Went inside the first set of doors and grabbed a few wipes but as I did so I accidentally dropped my keys in this lot where you throw away the wipes after you are done using them. Asked a worker for help to retrieve my keys...bc the bottom part is locked so I couldn't just access it on my own. After a few minutes I got help and got my keys back. I went in for one item and was able to find it fairly quickly. Went to self checkout. The only downside is that the self check-out says that it does not accept cash. Which also means that you can't get can back. This is something I see way too many times at Kroger self checkout now. If Kroger's is going to replace a lot of cashier's with the self checkouts ( not IF, but they have !) Then they should make all things assessable just like as if you were to go through a regular line do you have a cashier and helping you. Otherwise, I do like this location! Also, there are a few places surrounding it such as a bank and restaurants. So you can get your shopping done and got a bite to eat and stop at the bank all at once if needed at this location!

A bright, clean location with friendly employees. The shelves were well-stocked.

Sale items were in stock and the produce was fresh and in good condition. Store was mostly pretty easy to move through.

Honestly, I was really impressed by this Kroger. There is a bar in the alcohol department. Friendly employees, reasonable prices, well stocked, cleaned, and it even looks nice here! My personal favorite is that you can get meals for $5 in the frozen section! That's not bad at all! I definitely recommend coming here.

Great produce. This location sells huge amounts of produce, so it is always very fresh. Great high quality cheese selection from Murrays.

Nearly everybody I've encountered here has been amazing! Kind and nice staff! I feel like each department trains and hires the best people. When I shop here it's never a bad experience. Just good vibes! ==UPDATE 02/09/22=== I continue to be impressed! Today I was blown away by the attention to detail in the Seafood & Meat Department. I would describe it as if they were expecting a Military Evaluation! The manager was actually serving the counter and I could tell he took pride in his work! Again, this location knows how to hire the right people! LOVE THIS KROGER!

The Hyde Park Kroger is absolutely amazing. They have the nicest staff working at this location. Also I love their self checkout lanes. I'm able to go on my lunch break get something to eat and make it back to work in less than 30 mins. That's awesome for me. I do recommend going to this location to shop.

Kroger's is close to my mom's house..So I'm always in the area

Hyde Park krogers is the best kroger's out there. Is the customer service that your employees represent is off the chain the chain. They are so helpful friendly kind, it's the kind compassionate workers that I have ever seen. And I have been to many kroger's and none can compare to Hyde park. Each department worker are kind and helpful. When you ask have they seen this the data without it is in they're saying OK let me show you where it's at. Other problems will say always over there and laugh I think it's over there and twin or there in 20 hour but an actually it was 10. The food is fresh from the garden the meat is good wellstock store. Is their own point

I have been going to the Hyde Park Kroger almost all of my life, and it's still my favorite place to shop for all my groceries and household items. Beauty and health, too. The Hyde Park store is super convenient for me, and they very rarely run out of the things I am looking to buy. One stop shopping for everything I need, plus gas with fuel points to make filling up even more affordable ... at Kroger. LOVE!

Not all Kroger stores are alike, especially with all the recent changes to so many of the stores expanding and sizing down. Prices are fair, I can't like the Sales could be better less buy 9 items and save $3 that's a low blow. Staff is always cheerful and willing to help whenever possible.

A friend who worked here said this is a "flagship" Kroger. They have really good selections of everything. The deli has a lot of different options. There are hundreds of fine cheeses. There's a huge wine selection, also tons of beer. You name it, they probably have it. Also, it's in a good part of town, so most of the people working and shopping here are nice.

I've always shopped at Kroger's Hyde Park. Since the new Kroger in Oakley opened I shop there because it's closer to my home. It's super nice there, except the parking is often crowded. Now the Norwood Kroger is awful! Although it's only several streets away from my home, I don't feel safe in going there. The parking is terrible, and there are people there who hang in the store, and outside, are rough necks. My husband, and many of my friends feel the same. Not a good atmosphere at all. Matter of fact my husband won't let me go there at all. Sorry to give a negative report on one of your stores, but it's trashy location for Kroger to be in. I won't go to the Norwood shopping center for any reason.

This store is one of Kroger's "upscale" stores and it is well-stocked and has competitive prices. It is always very busy (especially on Sundays), and as a result, parking can be a challenge. I recommend it, but suggest going sometime not in their peak hours.

Yesterday, 1/19/20, I injured my knee and ended up on crutches. I was trying to make my way into the store but cars weren't slowing down at the stop signs and one of your employees stepped out into the 19 degree weather wearing nothing but a hoodie, stopped cars
and helped me into the building.
He offered to get me a motorized chair
but I declined, so he walked me all the way to The Little Clinic desk. I was in so much pain at the time that I forgot to ask his name. I want to thank him for such unexpected kindness. It was the highlight of a
really rough day.
