We loved doing the animation experience, and for them to talk us through the drawing so well (as someone with very little artistic talent), I was very pleased with the result. and seeing the live animal hospital was really interesting. I could have spent all day there.

Super cool place to view animals, their vet station and the classes they hold throughout the day to learn more about Disney and their animals! Well worth a train ride up here plus the petting zoo outside is a hit for the kids!

Fun up close experience with farm animals and a great artist experience with love drawing tutorials! 💕 Also, super fun to watch the janitorial staff make these fun characters out of sticks and flowers!

Perfect place to bring young ones and animal lovers to meet animals. Also was nice to see the care the staff puts into caring for the animals there. Was able to see a live surgery on an injured animal. Also the staff was caring in helping children to see how they can play a role in helping to preserve our precious endangered plant.

Loved the opportunity to watch the veterinarian do a well check. Also had a cartoon drawing tutorial where we were taught how to draw one of Disney's cartoons. The petting zoo is great for little people. My daughter was a little too old for that experience.

This is a hidden gem at Animal Kingdom for young children. There is a lovely little petting zoo with well cared for animals. There are also exhibits inside a nice research station. You get there by taking a little train back and forth to the main park. Go early to miss the crowds.

Such a cool place to escape the craziness of Animal Kingdom. It's like you're leaving the park entirely and going somewhere completely different. This area has a place called affection section where you can pet goats, and admire some other animals. They also have a spot where you can learn how to draw characters from Disney artists. They also have a walk through where you can see the lab where some of these animals are cared for.

The animation experience is fun for artist and non-artist alike. They walk you through step by step in drawing a charter within the conservation building while giving you facts and insights on the animations. Being in doors can also be a good reprive from the heat of outside!

This was my second time visiting. The first trip, the entire station was open and it was darker and quiet with little private rooms with education programs going on. It was definitely a real breath of fresh air from the rest of the park. I loved it.

The part I remember was closed off, but we still had a nice time. They have a petting zoo in the back which was great for kids. We did an animation class and a friendly guide showed us how to draw a character together. The back vet and conservation area was also open which is always neat.

They have a wilderness guide program for kids, and I highly recommend it for parents. The guide and activities help keep kids occupied in the longer lines at the rest of the park and it is a neat interactive game to play to keep kids engaged. My friends and I signed up and we are big kids at heart, it definitely helped us haha.

Gone to Disney several times. This was our first time going back to the Conservation Station. It's a quiet, calmer area to hangout and see animals. If you are having a busy week where the family is tired, this is a nice change of pace. Make sure to block off enough time, however, because it does take some time to get there and back. But it is worth the trip if you have the time.

Conservation station (part of Rafiki‘s Planet Watch) is not your conventional theme park experience. If you would like to tap more into what it takes to run a theme park centered on animals, then you are at the right place!

For those participating as Wilderness Explorers, you can get four badges at Conservation Station.

The newest addition is the Animation eExperience where you can learn to draw a Disney animal character from a Disney artist.

Get your head in the right frame of mind, expect to take your time, and then this will be a nice experience!

It was grrrrreat!!! We learned to draw Tigger and the artist was super cheerful. It would have blown the kids minds if at the end they could have had their drawing autographed by Tigger.

The staff here, especially one of the keepers named Brittany, were so friendly and engaging with my grandson! Plus he loved the train ride over!
