Encore Sherwood Forest

We had the pleasure to stay at Sherwood Forest. We had the opportunity to walk and enjoy what the park had to offer, there is so much to do and see.

We absolutely enjoyed meeting the grounds keeper Tony, he absolutely MADE our entire week. He has the best humor and friendly presence, that every business should have working for them.

Thank you for allowing us to be apart of such a great experience. We will see you again.

We went here for a live music event. It was so refreshing to hear real music and real musicians instead of karaoke and DJs. Everybody had a good time and everybody was happy. We will go back.

The office staff is very pleasant, friendly and helpful. The location have RV sites and cabins to rent. They have a miniature golf,pool with hot tub, shuffle board and a club house. Close to Disney and other attractions.Great fall decorations. we will be back at Christmas and New years.

This is an update of my review from 2022. Encore Sherwood Forest resort has made many improvements and upgrades and is now truly worth eating it a 4-5 star resort .

The Excellent staff is friendly and helpful the grounds are well maintained and the location is the best possible for visiting Disney attraction.

Internet has improved with ATT and Verizon and T-Mobile offering 5 G and blazing speed

The only downside is noise. But that’s to be expected when your Glamping iin town

If you are looking for a nice RV camp site in the middle of Austin with close access to all the downtown stuff this is the place for you! These guys were awesome! It was a little tight but with a little help guiding me in we were all good! We were able to get on our e scooters and went up and down the river and all over downtown! The trees are big and had plenty of shade for our RV. Thanks for the great place to stay!! They are cash only but that was fine for us.

Nice and quiet still running after the hurricane the staff has done a great job of cleaning up what they were able to. Staff at the office have been very helpful with me and my questions which at the time were really not important before and right after a hurricane. I have to give them a thumbs up. I think I am known for my heavy packages 📦

Great service! Nice and clean place to stay. All you need you will find here: playground, swimming pool, golf course. The house is equipped with everything, from iron to table games and swimming accessories. There is a security check at the entrance for your safety.

We love this place! Location is the best you can get in central Florida and the staff is very friendly and efficient. Thank you Carmen for the great service you provided us. We will be back soon.

One of our favorite places to stay in the area. The park is clean, safe, and the staff are kind and helpful. We frequently visit the Disney Parks, and this park is so conveniently located.

Great Park, well managed, and clean with lots of amenities.

We really like it here (we've been here several times this winter). Front desk staff is super nice, check-in is always a breeze, mail/package service excellent, great pool, super location. Yes, their sites may be a little small but our big rig did just fine! Will definitively be back next time we're in the Orlando area. Wish they had recycling, though...

UPDATE: I'd like to give a huge shout-out to Carmen and Debby! Up to this point I had only had contact with Stephanie, but now I've also met these two awesome people (they also deserve a raise or promotion haha). This resort keeps getting better and better!!!

I have been with Thousand Trails for over a year since I started my full-time travel adventure in Vegas, which means I've crossed the country and stayed in MANY Encore resorts. That being said, I literally don't have enough good adjectives to describe Sherwood Forest RV Resort and its Employees! It is without doubt the best Encore I have ever stayed. The common areas are super clean and nice, they have a small gym, bar by the pool, 3 Jacuzzis, three pools, human sized chess, basketball, and other courts. The place is very well maintained and for the time I have been there were zero problems. The neighbors are also genuinely nice!

The staff is by far the best staff I have ever came across, they should call Holiday Travel Park and teach their Manager Assistant Matthew a masterclass on customer service. That place has everything to be like this one if that guy was not there, he lacks empathy and seems to hate his life and job. I might be expecting too much, but I hate when I walk to the club house and feel like the staff hates to be there. As opposed to Stephanie on Sherwood Forest RV Park which is the best associate I have ever had the pleasure to come across, she deserves either a raise or a promotion lol. In fact, all the associates from this park do, you guys have made my experience so pleasant and I am very grateful for it. I have seen some managers make Thousand Trails members feel extremely uncomfortable (I do not understand why), but at this park I didn't feel that. Literally ALL the staff (not only office staff) is super great!

To whomever makes the hiring process decisions, congratulations on putting this great team together, it's working ✌🏽

Great place. Grass lots but very few have concrete pads. Barely enough room to pull in but adequate. Bathrooms old but clean.

Added later- I have grown to love this place. Tom at the front is fantastic. Everyone tries to please. This location is just a couple miles from all Disney parks. Great time!!!!

We have been staying at Sherwood Forest for over 10 years once a year. Our cottage is always spotless and never have we found anything in disrepair. The laundry is always spotless. The clientele has always been favorable. More than anything, each and every single person we have ever dealt with on their staff has been exemplary!

Cute place, felt very safe and at home. Nice activities near by and great location distance wise from all the major parks and attractions in town.

We had an awesome stay, we brought our grandkids and they enjoy the swimming pool, mini golf and the playground. The bathhouses were clean and the ladies at the office were nice. Also very close to old town. We will come back

Excellent place to stay. Played shuffleboard with residents and they were very friendly. Staff helped me quickly resolve key card issue.
