Wine Bar George - A Restaurant & Bar

First time eating here, and it was fabulous. Our server was fantastic. He was so kind and knowledgeable and gave us great recommendations. I love the atmosphere inside but we wanted to eat outside. It was a nice little balcony area. The wine, cocktails, endless vacation, and food were spot on. We thoroughly enjoyed our French dip and M.C.T. I look forward to visiting again.

We enjoyed dinner here. The cheese platter was scraped clean. We had two orders of the hummus also demolished. Skirt steak and burrata were the other highlights. All seasoned and cooked perfectly. We sat downstairs and it felt cramped. There was always a server trying to squeeze around tables so the vibe wasn’t relaxed at all.

By far our favorite spot on the springs. We stop by a Sunday a month or so for brunch. The steak and eggs are perfect. I love the steak. It’s amazing. A new item is the pastrami salmon bagel it’s excellent. Perfect flavoring. The ride Mac n cheese is a fan favorite I’m sure. Perfect crisp and cheesy in the middle.

This was the second time my husband and I have visited Wine Bar George. The first time, we had brunch on the weekend. (Amazing.) His favorite was the frozen Old Fashioned they serve. We had to come back a second time specifically for him to have one. We went on a Monday thinking we would have brunch. Oops! They don’t serve brunch on Mondays, so we got the Big Board to split instead. One of the top three charcuterie boards we have EVER had. Absolutely delicious and the service was top notch. We will be back again!

I’m so happy we went here for lunch! The food was so delicious and so were the drinks. I loved the atmosphere and the service was also nice. We had the burrata, mussels and the branzino sandwich which I can’t get over, everything tasted perfect. The frozcato and American 75 were so refreshing. I would definitely be back - highly recommend.

This has become our favorite pre- race meal! Most recently my friend and I were in town for Princess Weekend. We had a reservation, but they were very busy as it was a rainy evening. We had to wait a bit for a table, but the hosts were very attentive, even brought us a drink while we waited. Once seated we ordered the buratta and mac and cheese bites as appetizers with a delicious bottle of wine and the skirt steak for dinner. The skirt steak comes with seasonal vegetables and always is enough both to fill us up for the evening and have leftovers. The perfect pre-half fuel!

We did not have reservations but stopped in to see if we could sit at the bar. The bar was just as packed but the hostess said there were "low seats" at the upstairs bar. They are definitely low, we felt like small kids sitting at the big table. But Paul the bartender was stellar and the food was out of this world fantastic. We asked if he could add vodka to the cherry smash and he said absolutely! We shared fried gnocchi, crispy Mac and cheese bites, and meatballs in the most heavenly bed of pillowy cheesy polenta I have ever tasted. We ended with frozen Dole Whip Pineapple with vodka which was by far the best version of this that we have had. It must have been the moscato and the vodka. We will definitely plan dinner reservations on a future trip, we really loved Wine Bar George.

This place was amazing. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. The service from the hostess stand, to our waitress (Julie, I believe), to the chefs, was top notch. Coming from the industry of food and beverage, they did everything they could to make our experience the best.

We each got a two glasses of wine, an appetizer (fried gnocchi) and the ribeye. The food was phenomenal and they nailed the ribeye. One of the best ribeyes I’ve ever had.

After we left, I accidentally left my sunglasses and I received a call from the hostess about 5 minutes after I left to let me know I had forgotten them. This hospitality does not go unnoticed and I recommend this to anyone that wants a nice dinner with a good atmosphere (and great service).

Leading up to my 40th Birthday I had such a hard time deciding what I wanted my day to look like and how to celebrate. It was on a Saturday, late March, during Spring Break, so all the options were on the table; A cruise, a trip, the beach, etc. After much thought I landed on staying local and just going out for a nice dinner with family. I wanted to go somewhere I’d never been before which didn’t leave me with as many options as one might imagine, but hey, what can I say, we like to eat out! Eventually while going over options Wine Bar George crossed my mind. To the internet I went to begin reading reviews (I always read, but rarely leave them myself, so here I am contributing for the next interested soul) and then onto the menu to deep dive into the offerings. I was quickly sold and excited!
Now it’s currently the Monday after and I’m typing out my high praise of gratitude for the BEST evening!

The Food:
Crispy Mac & Cheese Bites – Gone in an instant, executed so perfectly my daughter decided to get the Mac & Cheese for dinner (which would not typically be her go to) and was well pleased with her decision
House Made Hummus – Such a simple dish, but done so well the plate was left clean
The Big Board – 10 out of 10- I’m returning for this soon!
Skirt Steak – I thought I was going to love this more than I did, but still perfectly delicious
Sea Bass – I didn’t anticipate loving this as much as I did but just WOW! This was as if I were at a restaurant overlooking the Aegean Sea level legitimate – chef’s kiss*
Key Lime Pie – Should be called something else….Key lime pie inspired dessert from the Lord above – Holy smokes, this was ridiculous in its own unique way
Drinks – Well, it’s called WINE Bar George for a reason!

The Service:
Our Server was Maverick and I will say first and foremost, no, I do not know him, nor am I in any way related! With that said, thank you Wine Bar George for providing us with the most wonderful evening thanks in large part to Maverick. Now let me also say, for reference, I come from a family of servers; My Father, Brother and myself were all at points in our lives servers so we have perhaps a higher level of expectation when we dine out (which is often) and Maverick was undoubtedly the best we’ve had in a VERY long time. He was kind, knowledgeable, personable, attentive, and yet never at any point made us feel rushed on a busy Saturday night. I truly can’t sing this mans praise enough. I mentioned what I typically like to drink, but was open to trying something new for my Birthday so he talked through options he thought I might be interested in and made suggestions that ended in US (family included) finding glasses of wine we LOVED! I’m telling you, He knows his stuff! Overall, the evening could not have improved in any way. It was the very definition of a perfect Birthday dinner and I’m truly grateful.

So thank you George, I hope you read this and treat Maverick to a glass of something nice because he was genuinely special and made us all eager to return!

The appetizers were not that great but the skirt steak was absolutely fantastic and would recommend it to anyone visiting this restaurant. Also remember that this is located in the Disney boulevard area, meaning there could be a lot of families.

Great service, very specialized wine recommendations. For example, they explained to us that the reds on tap would be cold and allowed us to try before ordering, we decided to go with a glass of another wine instead and our server made a recommendation for a brilliant Tempranillo that really opened up while we were having dinner. The steak family platter we ordered was divine: tender and flavorful.

Sophisticated but relaxed atmosphere, knowledgeable staff, and delicious food. This is a great dining option in Disney Springs for wine enthusiasts and adult diners. Pro tip: Ask the staff for their wine recommendations, they won't steer you wrong. Also, the mac and cheese bites are delicious!

I came here by myself one night when my husband was working late. I love wine so this was my first choice in Disney Springs. They have a large wine list, most are $15-20 so I ended up getting an $11 house Pinot noir which was good! I got the meat ball appetizer with polenta. It was excellent and enough for me to have as a meal. I appreciated the adult vibe of this place given its location in Disney springs.

First visit. I waited too long to come here! I enjoyed the Mac and cheese balls and a couple glasses of wine (a SB and Malbec). The bartender made some great recommendations. Stopped by on a Saturday for lunch. Wasn't too crowded. Can't wait to go again!

Wow, just wow. Can’t believe it took us this long to try to place. Excellent quality and flavor, exquisite cocktails, but above all outstanding customer service. Highly recommended stopping by this restaurant if you’re in the Orlando Disney Springs area.

Food was amazing 🥰had the skirt steak!!! Atmosphere upstairs spacious and clean! Highly recommended, make sure you allow enough time to walk through the Disney springs park if you’re getting dropped off, about a 10 minute walk.

The meatballs and cheese board were perfect! The staff was SO nice. Our server recommended wines to pair with our meal.

We had the pleasure of having Amanda D as our server and she was amazing! She knew about the different wines that would pair best with our selections and really made the experience great! We loved our time! Lucky to be at a table upstairs and on the window to see the drone show and people watch. It was a perfect evening!

Enjoyed the hummus, meatballs, and gnocchi. Paired with a white and Pinot noir per her request. Perfect!!

We had the Big Board here, and it was great! Plenty of different meats, cheeses, and spreads along with gherkins and almonds, even a piece of sweet honeycomb! One of the best charcuterie boards I've ever tried!

As strange as I find the location of a fine wine bar in Disne Springs, both their wine menu and the service were great. It made our evening very enjoyable.
