Taj Mahal Bar & Grill

The service was great and the food was well flavored, but could've have been spicier to me; ordered the hottest it could go and was mildly warm at best.
Additionally, the soft drinks are just out of a can which is disappointing but understandable.
Definitely recommend if you're in the area and is a great change of pace from the other restaurants nearby.

This little gem is a must if you love Indian food. The Samosas were absolutely the best I have ever had. The Chicken Tikka Masala was beyond flavorful with the right amount of spice. The restaurant appeared clean and the owner was so friendly, that I felt like I had stopped over at a friend’s house for lunch. This is now my go to spot of Indian food.

As i huge fan of indian food fan i can tell you one thing: this place is amazing, food is fantastic, service is great. Not going to other indian restaurants ever again

My husband and I have been here twice and it’s becoming our favorite place. I’ve only really tried the tikka masala, but it is absolutely so delicious, flavorful, and the portions are large! You have to get it with the garlic naan! Also the first time we went they gave us a free dessert just for being there for the first time, and the second time we went the service was just as great-quick, and very pleasant. 🙏🏻 Definitely recommend!

I visited the taj mahal bar and grill with my family. We loved the chicken Tikka. It was perfectly grilled, succulent pieces of chicken that danced with spices. My dad tried chicken Tikka tikka Masala with Naan. It was absolutely awesome. We still have daily cravings for the foods we tried.
I would love to recommend all to try the chicken tikka, chicken Tikka masala with your loved naan. They also provide rice with each curry

This restaurant is as close as it gets to North Indian Punjabi food. Very Authentic taste. I live in NJ where you get the best of the Indian food and this place is nothing less than the best. The staff and the owner were very welcoming and gave personal attention to my needs. They did check if I liked the food or if they could do anything else. Off course the taste was perfect. Couldn’t have asked for better. Will go again for sure and will post some pictures then.

It is clear why this place has 4.8 stars... The food is simply AMAZING!!!! I had no clue what I wanted and didn't want to go with my usual so I left the decision with the server. It was not disapointing! The food is clearly home-made and made to order. Perfect balance of spices and not over cooked. I look forward to my next visit!!!!

I don't know how you do it but you do your job more than 5 stars! For me, this is the best place for Indian cuisine. the spices and spicy levels are so perfectly matched. Large portions and impeccable taste! thanks for your hard work!

I’ve been going here for a few years. Love the food and typically the staff. However, there’s a new waitress who doesn’t appear to have the personality for food service. She was very short and curt. That’s all fine and dandy. Then she accused me of ordering something I didn’t. When I informed her I did not order it I could hear her telling the cook that I was lying about having ordered it 😢 I ate it, still have no idea what it was, but I have to say it was quite tasty.

Love the place - I’ll be doing take-out from now on.

Spicy delicious chicken tikka masala 🤤! You can choose your spice level 1-6 to add some extra flavor to your dish. I ordered the chicken tikka masala spice level 3- a majority of the chicken dishes cost $20 but the proportions are so big, I have enough for lunch tomorrow. The atmosphere is very fancy but it’s totally a casual vibe! The server/bar tender was super nice and recommend I try the garlic naan. I didn’t get any naan this time but I’ll be back 😊! 10/10 definitely recommend (full of flavor)!

My two girlfriends and I went to the Taj Mahal Bar & Grill Saturday evening and had the best time. The service was perfect and the food was delectable. My friend had a favorite place she went to for Indian food, and she kept stating, “This is so much better.” The server said that the chef believed in taking time with his sauces. He said that you can’t rush Indian food; the seasons need time to simmer in order to bring out the best flavors. It’s obvious that he does just that. We didn’t bother to take pictures of all the dishes we ordered, because we were ready to dive right in the moment we saw them, but trust me, the presentation and the taste were perfect. I know we will be returning.

I've been here dozens of times and need to let everyone know that Taj Mahal is the best Indian spot in Cincinnati! Family owned and you can tell they take pride in their food. The owner is super personable and turned me on to my favorite new dish, the tikka bartha. Try it! The service is always prompt and friendly. The place is huge! Take a group and enjoy the big liquor and wine selection. So many things to try, I'll be back soon!

This place is incredible! The outside is very unassuming, however as soon as you walk in your senses are bombarded with fresh and mouthwatering spices. The dining room is clean, the service was imprecadle and the food was clearly homemade and exceptional!

Unbelievably good quality food along with fantastic service! We’ve visited Indian restaurants across the U.S. and Taj Mahal is by far our favorite. Their samosas were the best samosas we’ve ever had! The chicken tikka was cooked to perfection and the vegetable biryani was top notch. We highly recommend!!!

I want to start with my 1 and only complaint which was that I couldn't finish my plate and lick it clean. The older gentleman took care of us (I believe was the owner). The most catering people I have ever met. I had alerted them that I was pregnant 🤰 had couldn't have any spice and the level of accommodation and hospitality was next level. The vegetable samosas were the best my husband and I have ever had. They were beautifully seasoned. My husband and I were truck drivers and have traveled the country for years. We have ate Indian food all over the country and no place can even come near the quality of food, service or taste. We bothe ordered Garlic Naan and Chicken Tikka Masala and was just blown away. My husband had his spice level at a 3 and said it was perfect. You would do yourself a disservice by not giving them a try.

I love this place! I order it regularly for dinner and it always arrives hot and super delicious! If you’re looking for great Indian food, this is the place right here!

This is the best restaurant I’ve been to in years, I’ve been to a lot of cities and love Indian food but this is hands down the absolute best, the spices they use really come through, so fragrant and tasteful. The staff is amazing and welcoming, always down to have a conversation, and if you’re not sure what to order they will help you with good recommendations. Definitely hit this place up on a weekly basis. The samosas are to die for and the mango lassi slaps. Thanks Taj Mahal!

We had the ginger chicken, and the chicken curry and the bhaturra bread and garlic naan... everything was flavorful and hot. The only slight complaint is I wish the actual spice level was hotter. We got a 5 out of 6 and it was more like a 2-3 in reality. We like our food super spicy. Their food was so good though I can't take a star off. Friendly, warm with a nice ambiance..
We will definitely be back.
