Usually when you give a five star review of a place you can’t wait to go back again and have that great experience or delicious food. Losing someone you love sucks and I hope I never have to go through it again. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home was so gracious and comforting. They take you by the hand and guide you through a difficult time and take the time to get to know you and your dearly departed. They captured the essence of our son in a beautiful obituary. They didn’t mind us coming back in multiple times to fill keepsakes for us as we kept finding friends of our son wanting to spread his ashes all over the country in beautiful locations. They are very thoughtful and comforting. I would use them again, but I hope I never have to. Thanks to the entire team.

Jennifer and Nancy have been so kind and caring during this horrible nightmare that I'm going through. The USPS lost my son's ashes and they helped to track them down. Jennifer was so compassionate and kind when my sisters & I traveled to Kentucky to collect my sons things and to make the arrangements. They both have continued to reach out to me over the past almost month since losing my only biological son to suicide on February 25th. The love & prayers have brought me some much needed comfort. I would highly recommend this funeral home to anyone in need.

We were very pleased with everything they did to support our family during this time. They did an amazing job of making a sad day go smoothly. I would definitely recommend them. My husband passed unexpectedly on December 13th. For the last two years is been asking him to set up a prepaid cremation for us both.I had their information on the kitchen table.
I was on the interstate when I got the call my husband was gone, in my way home. I called Maddux-Fuqua as soon as I got home. I was able to arrange for them to meet and pick up my husband stright away.
They were very kind and caring, they knew I was in shock, and they made everything very easy for me.
Their facilities are beautiful and well kept and definitely a place that you want your departed to go to.
I was able to see my husband and bring our dogs to say goodbye before he was cremated. This was very important to me as dogs understand death, they don't understand abandonment.
Don't wait until you need to call them, set up a prepaid arrangement.
I will be doing that for myself.

Mr. Kevin Latham, Jennifer, Kayla, and all additional employees, who may not be named, my apologies, but please know how very special and important you all are to myself and my family. This funeral home has a history of handling additional family and friends who passed away throughout the years. They assisted us and many others with the utmost professional, empathetic, caring manner and such amazing support. The most recent being the loss of our parents. Our Mother who passed away in June 2021 and recently our Father who passed away in November 2022. They all treated my family with great care and they were very interested and empathetic. They remembered us and many things I mentioned to them last year when my mother passed away. They also have reached out on the date my mother passed to let us know they were thinking of her and our family which was so very touching and special. Its important that I write this review because the people involved with Maddux funeral home obviously do this work because they care about people and those that have passed and have gone home to be with God.
They made everything simple for us knowing we had such heaviness and sadness within us. I highly recommend Maddux to anyone who needs these type of arrangements or services to be made for theirselves or those they love..
They went out of their way to ensure everything was prepared to make our visit their as easy as possible. I will cherish them for all they did for me and my family. Each and everyone involved were so organized, proficient, professional, and so special. We were very fortunate to meet and work with during such a hard time. They looked out for all of us and explained everything in detail and the expenses were extremely reasonable as well. I will have memories of how our loss although, it is extremely tough, that it is also very significant to remember how those we Love who have passed are with Our Lord God In Heaven for Eternity. Although, we are so sad it’s important to celebrate all of the lives of those we love and miss and to remember God’s with them and they couldn’t be in better hands. They are forever with God never to want or need for anything. They are so full of God’s Love.
I believe they will be waiting when God is ready to take us home per the quote “Until We Meet Again”.

When my Mother passed away recently, the Maddux staff were very professional and caring! They were all very considerate of our family and our needs. When staff picked up her body, they treated her with respect and dignity. When meeting with Jennifer H to complete the arrangements, she was very helpful, caring and professional. Because of the great care of all the staff, we were able grieve and have a wonderful service for my Mom. Nancy contacted us afterward to see how we were doing and to see if there was anything they could help us with. My family would recommend Maddux Fuqua Hinton funeral home to everyone. The staff truly makes the most difficult situation easier and very personal. A big thanks goes to Kevin and all the staff for their help and concern.

During this difficult time for our family, the staff at Maddox Fuqua Hinton were over the top helpful. The empathy that they showed to our family and the grief for the loss of our mom showed how much they care. Every need we had was taken care of and the visitation and service were all handled efficiently and with the care and concern that only is there when people care about what they do. I couldn’t have asked for the whole process to have been handled any better. We are so grateful for all they did.
