So impressed! They made us feel welcome immediately. My daughter recommended them and I couldn’t be happier. You can tell all of the staff members love animals. Professional. On time.

Oakley Square has been caring for our fur babies for nearly 18 years. We love the staff here and many of them have been there forever, which tells me they must be doing something right. They are kind, friendly and thorough. Dr. Bends has been with us through two crazy (high maintenance) corgis and just has the most gentle and compassionate bedside manner. I trust her and the team’s expertise and truly appreciate that they meet us where we are especially as our pups enter their golden years. Even when the office is busy they always take the time to answer all our questions and discuss everything thoroughly. I can’t imagine our pups going anywhere else.

Veterinarians are fantastic. My dog has health issues and they treated her with love and respect. Some Veterinarians just care about the driving up the billing...these Veterinarians really care about the animal and family.

I have been taking my cat here for the past 2 years and I’ve had nothing but wonderful experiences. Staff is very friendly and good with animals, though my cat isn’t a huge fan of anyone picking him up that’s not me lol. Recently had to get my cat cremated as he passed away while i was out of town, staff was super kind and gentle in explaining the process and allowing me as much time as I needed to say goodbye. Helped me gain a bit of closure in explaining to me what might have happened, ashes were ready to be picked up in only about a week, was given a certificate and some pamphlets on dealing with grief from pet loss. Will definitely be bringing any future pets to their care in the future. Highly recommend

Wonderful vet with great service and convenient location. My cats love them, and I can tell they feel more comfortable here than at bigger name vet offices inside pet stores.

I’ve been taking my dog and two cats here for a few years now and they’ve been wonderful. Always answer the phone quickly and have appointments available when I need them! I think we’ve seen almost every vet at this point from our visits with my dog and they have all been very friendly and answered any questions I have. The reception staff is nice and I especially love a few of the vet techs who I can tell treat my pets with love when they are taken back for their exams. We’ve had to switch vets in the past but I don’t see us going anywhere else now! Very happy we found this office.

I couldn’t be happier with my choice of the vet. They made the absolute best of a very tragic situation. My 3 year old baby buster, who loves to get into absolutely EVERYTHING, ended up getting his stomach blocked because of it. We had waited a few days before going to the vet, hoping he would get better, not thinking it was anything as serious as it was. The vet we chose was was extremely rude, condescending, very apathetic and lacked compassion. Now I don’t expect a prognosis to be sugar coated but I also don’t expect to hear a very harsh, blunt conclusion and be belittled as well. Now, the worst news was that there weren’t many options, one was taking a very risky surgery that, was already well passed due, and simply not feasible financially. We took Buster home, took him swimming (his absolute favorite activity) and slept for the next 2 nights on the floor with him while his friends and family came to see him. Buster had gone down hill in these days and had affirmed that we were making the right decision after all. Now buster was obviously showing signs he was ready for the next steps, but honestly didn’t seem to be in much pain quite yet which makes us very happy. After calling almost every vet in the area, we found Oakley square, who had not only kind staff to answer the phone, but had unbelievable & very accessible prices, which after knowing the pricing & working with the Vets, led me to the conclusion that it’s because they are as you would expect a vet; caring, moral, truly empathetic and practice from a place in the heart and truly care for the animals and take pride in their profession. The pricing was in fact HALF of what almost every other vet in the tri state charges AND had a nice selection of complimentary urns. They welcomed us and prepared us and they were perfectly fine with us doing whatever we needed and told us we can bring in anyone we could squeeze in. They talked with us, explained the process, looked at his X-rays and listened to what he had to say about the situation to ensure we were making the right decision. They made us feel very validated in the decision. I don’t know their names, but I would like to commend the blonde woman vet, and the dark haired male vet who did the procedure. They were so professional, friendly and worked around all of us the room and were very comforting with their words and actions. They really let us guide the timing of the action and go at our own pace and knew how to help lighten the mood at appropriate times. It was rough as you can imagine, they let us have our time and it felt like they really took our feelings into account and cared about us and what we were going through. They checked in a few times and never rushed us or anything. I had noticed that they had actually given us almost an hour after close to be with our boy and they seemed happy to do so. Overall I would say they were extremely hospitable and played a very large role in making the best of an awful situation. The two vets were just simply genuine, and after dealing with others, was something I will always be grateful for. One thing stuck in my head is how the gentleman vet had mentioned how after doing this for so long, he’s seen and cared for many pets from youth to their passing, and that it’s created attachments that he also deals with when things like this happen. He operates at a level of working with more than just an animal and really understands that the pets are family to their owners. I’m sure the woman who helped us today operates in just the same astounding way, which is the exact opposite of most vets that have done it for a long time. If I were you, I would go to them. From my experience, you can trust them totally and completely. You can trust their judgment; and have peace of mind knowing you’re working with people at a place that are about more than making money and understand what you’re dealing with, whether it’s a small or large issue. They want the same conclusion as you do and truly do good. I Can’t thank Oakley square Animal Hospital enough! :)

While the exam rooms can be tight for support groups arriving with pet owners, the overall experience is nothing less than stellar, knowledgeable, considerate, and patient. Upon arrival, clear and concise directions and prompts for exacting details concerning the cause for your arrival, and are delivered as though by a loved one or family member, yet with the level-headedness of a consumate medical professional. This is mirrored throughout the visit. At the end of the consult, all decisions and options are laid bare without so much as a misleading or manipulative scrap to interfere in acquiring the best health options for your belived pet. I hope this review finds you and the aforementioned pet(s) well in both health and knowledge.

Been there four or five times now and the experience has always been positive.

The first time I was there they were running behind by about an hour due to a few emergencies that came in which is completely understandable. When I walked in I overheard one of the staff members on the phone with a customer who was extremely irritated because of the wait. The staff member was very polite and professional the whole call which I could tell was a difficult task to do. I was immediately impressed.

I have been to other vets before that cost a fortune but the prices here are always very reasonable.

I highly recommend this place!

They did an amazing job removing a non-cancerous growth that had developed on the neck of my senior staffy, Jumper. Had an appointment for surgery in a little over a day from when I walked in. Everyone we dealt with were incredibly kind and thoughtful, making the entire process far less stressful for my anxious poochie. Great staff, great service!

Our dogs have received veterinary care here for years and years. We are deeply grateful to the docs and staff for their compassion, efficiency and excellent care. Our most recent visit was 100% successful. The treatment provided to our wonderful, elderly, mixed-heritage rescue boy solved his problem almost immediately, reestablishing his comfort and our peace of mind.

Staff is very friendly. Took our puppy to his first appointment and they made it very easy. Vet we had was very friendly and helpful, giving up pointers and tips. She was great with our pup and trimmed his nails, and gave him his vaccines without him noticing.

As is always the case, on a recent visit, the veterinarian spent a few minutes to explain things to me in ways that I could easily understand and offer valuable suggestions. As long as it is logistically reasonable, I will always bring my pet here. The prices are very reasonable and the staff cares about what is going on with your pet.

TRAVIS IS A GODSEND! I was flying to Europe and needed a last minute health certificate so that my cat could fly with me. Usually this can take weeks to prepare and he did it in 24 hours! There were a few issues with finding her records but he called literally EVERY vet she went to since she was a kitten, even though they were all in Texas. He never gave up even when the road seemed like a dead end.

I only came to this office one time. BUT it was so clean and friendly, and a GREAT price point. They were easily the most cost effective office I got a quote from for the European Health Certificate. I have to bring one more cat with me to Europe and I will definitely be returning to their office in the next couple of weeks.

Also the female receptionist was super friendly and great! Great job guys!

xoxo Chelsie
