Integrated Family Care - Primary Care in Cincinnati

I'm not quite sure there are adequate words to articulate how grateful we are for the love and exceptional care we receive from the nurses and physicians at Integrated Family Care. I am a former ICU nurse at Childrens so when my husband and I started our family, deciding on a family practice to join was of paramount importance to us. I only wanted the best of the best. A practice that cared for us holistically and helped us navigate all of our medical needs. And we have never, ever been disappointed.

Besides the general care we receive (which is outstanding) we truly feel like we are a part of a family. Dr. Mechley and Dr. Glass take so much personal time to get to know our family holistically that each time we meet with them, I feel like we are getting not only medical treatment and guidance, but personal guidance on raising the healthiest family we can be from every aspect of our lives. Rachel and the nurses at the front desk are SO responsive and take all my questions, re-schedules & admin ask's with so much grace and promptness. It is so helpful that they have an app for your phone in order to get in touch with them at all times.. makes my life SO easy as a mom.

And last but not least, I have had not one, but TWO incredibly scary admissions to Children's with my middle son Noah, who was hospitalized at 3 weeks old for COVID and at 18 months old for ingesting two button batteries (this requiring an emergent procedure at 10pm at night, a 4 night hospital stay and subsequent procedure). Dr. Mechley was with us every step of the way. Checking in, calling, coordinating second opinions with colleagues and answering my questions at all times of the day and night. I could not have felt more loved and cared for in such scary times. She understands both my needs as a mother but also as a medical person myself. I trust her so wholeheartedly and I'm so grateful to have someone like her to help me navigate taking care of my sweet babies.

I could not imagine finding another practice in Cincinnati that would love our family so well. We are SO grateful to this practice and we will be patients for life 💕

Dr. Glass has been so wonderful over the past few years. She is incredibly knowledgeable and well connected, but also has the kindness and approachable personality that everyone looks for in a physician. She has helped me navigate various health issues/concerns as well as supporting my physical and mental health through multiple pregnancies and postpartum. I would recommend Dr Glass and her practice to any of my friends and family!

Dr. Mechley is the most caring and knowledgeable doctor I have ever visited. She takes all the time necessary to completely answer any questions and explains her answers in a way that can be understood. She is passionate and compassionate about her work and her patients healing!

I have really enjoyed IFC and Dr. Mechley. She serves as an advisor in all areas of my health, even areas where I also have specialists, such as dermatology. She always takes time to listen and is always very well prepared for my visits.

Unfortunately, I've seen a lot of doctors. I can confidently say Dr. Glass stands out. She is professional, caring, and knowledgeable. Couldn't really ask for more, honestly. I trust her implicitly and will gladly recommend her to anyone looking for private care!

I can not express how much this Practice has changed my life. I do not feel like just a number to my doctor. The care encompasses the 'whole' person and they strive to look at all aspects of your health as their patient. I also like the technology they use so that you can directly communicate with your doctor when emergencies rear their ugly little heads. I know I am in extremely capable hands with Dr. Glass. In a world that seems to have forgotten the personal touch it is great to have a doctor that truly cares about your health. If you are looking for a practice that specializes in 'whole' approach to medicine, where you are not just a number, this is the place for you.

Direct care is having a family doctor on call who actually knows your family - crazy idea, right? :) We have insurance, but opt to pay the monthly fee for IFC because we actually get medical care when we need it now, versus weighing the cost/benefit of heading to an insurance-approved GP where we'll have to pay out of pocket anyway, but likely, won't ever hit the deductible (and typically, this is the only way to actually speak to a GP within a large medical practice/system).

At IFC, we can connect to our doctor through an app any time, which makes a HUGE difference when it comes to asking a quick question. We can also schedule appointments online - another small but hugely helpful benefit for me.

Best of all, Dr. Glass just really knows us a few years into our membership. She has all our family history at her fingertips, which is linked to each of us, and because the appointments are so thorough, thoughtful, and well-documented, we feel we're getting better assessments, better treatments when we need them, but mostly, that we're being cared for in a holistic, common sense, person-centered way. Both doctors here know their stuff and it shows.

When we need to tap into our insurance coverage for bigger stuff, this office coordinates with other doctors, which is fantastic, too. Dollar for dollar, though, this membership is an incredible value. We actually feel like we HAVE everyday healthcare coverage now.

In a time when a primary care office has come to feel more like an assembly line, this practice is a true gem. Dr. Mechley and her assistant (Sue Ann, I believe) are truly lovely. I had an initial meet and greet via Zoom with Dr. Mechley a few weeks ago and had my annual visit with her today. I really enjoyed being there and felt like she truly listened to me and was interested in actually helping me improve my health. She is very knowledgeable and kind, which is a not-often found combination! Sign up to be a patient... you will not be disappointed.

I recently had an annual check up with Dr. Glass. It was my first time at Integrative Family Care and I just want to say that I have never felt more listened to, validated, and cared about by a primary care physician. Even though I am overall healthy, she still took the time to sit and talk with me for roughly 45 minutes about every aspect of my health, including my mental health- which I appreciated. Karen, the client service rep, is also super friendly and helpful. I overall had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend IFC to anyone looking for high quality care.

Dr. Mechley is an amazing physican because she takes the time to throughly explain lab results, answer questions, make suggestions for lifestyle changes accompanied by supportive references. I love her focus on healthy lifestyle and wellness. Her friendly, engaging and professional demeanor puts me at ease. Drs. Mechley and Glass and their supportive staff have created a welcoming space for in-person and virtual visits.

Dr. Glass has been my doctor for the past five months. In that time I have been very impressed with her thoroughness and knowledge base. She treats me as a person, not as a symptom. She is extremely intelligent, but she is always learning as well as caring. She often digs deeper and then calls me with the additional information she has uncovered. Her inquisitive nature, paired with her wonderful personality and interpersonal skills makes her the finest primary care physician I've ever had.

I love IFC! The care I have received from every team member has been stellar. I'm always met with compassion, empathy and proactive care. They are excellent at communicating, and make sure that I am informed, up to date and have the resources to ensure my health is holistic. Cannot recommend them enough!

Integrative Family Care is FANTASTIC! I put off going to the doctor for a very long while because of the stereotypical visit where you wait around forever and then get 15 minutes of a hurried doctor's time. Dr. Glass is always so thorough during my visits. She asks about my whole lifestyle, and I love her scientific AND holistic approach. She is extremely knowledgable and easy to talk to. I am delighted with the skillful, caring, and personalized care I receive from this practice. Dr. Glass's bedside manner is as honed as her medical care; she takes my concerns seriously, asks appropriate questions, and always puts me at ease. The office is a hospitable, peaceful space with a zen-like feel. The receptionist is welcoming and water and tea are offered in the waiting room...though the wait time is minimal. Scheduling an appointment is a breeze, with both online and phone options available.

I have been a patient of Dr Mechley for many years. First when she practiced in Indiana and when she moved I followed her to her new practice in Cincinnati. I missed her when she was not actively practicing and when she returned and started Integrative Family Care I was so very pleased. I also have had Dr Glass working on a health issue of mine and love her as well!!!! These doctors do it right! This is the way medicine should be practiced and I am thankful for them!

Dr Amy is easily the best physician I have ever had, despite the fact that I’m probably her worst patient. Haha. Their are no quick in and outs. She discussing a plan for treatment instead of just throwing prescriptions at me. The communication is just astounding, and a breath of fresh air. You text or call through the spruce app and you can speak directly with the physician. Oh, and the price! Amazing practice!

What did it for me was attending one of their regularly scheduled info sessions. Imagine your doctor sitting with you 100% of your scheduled appointment instead dipping in to pronounce judgment after interpreting a report prepared by a nurse or physician's assistant. I feel as if I now have a partner focused on helping restore and maintain my health rather than a relative stranger giving me their best guess from a few clues. I was a bit of a wreck when I first visited IFC. Although I have a way to go I now view my health and prospects for preserving it much better than I may ever have.

I recently had a accident and needed stitches. Dr. Glass saw me was able to get me in and get me fixed up immediately. Very knowledgeable and professional. Dr. Glass and her assistant Regina made me feel very relaxed and comfortable while she was stitching me up. They got me fixed up and out of there In no time. I could not recommend Dr. Glass any more.

Dr. Mechley and Dr. Glass are some of the most supportive and compassionate physicians our family has ever had. Their "Direct Primary Care" model allows us the opportunity to access care for our family when we need it. They focus on preventative care, keeping us healthy and help us make healthy choices.
