Company I work for, Heather is a great dispatcher. She keeps me going and works with me on issues I may be having. Been doing this for 19+ years and with only being with 2 otr companies I've only had a fee dispatchers that actually care.

Where do you spend your hometime? I love how fast and smoothly PTL gets me home to spend much needed time off before hitting the road again! It’s better when my home is Padre Island on the Gulf Coast of Texas! The main reason I joined PTL is because they are the only company that pays more cpm based on my years of military service. I have only 6 months OTR experience but I get .62 cpm here. I never have a shortage of loads and they let me be the “captain of my own ship”. 1500 trucks and 3500 trailers. Been in business since the 30s, this company is family oriented and it shows. Found my home with PTL! 🤙🏼🇺🇸

Came on to PTL with 22 year’s experience and they treated me like the professional I am. Gave me a new truck an experienced fleet manager that’s been in this business since 1978. They take safety seriously and maintain great equipment. If you’re a new and want the perks like I have you’re in for a ride. You gotta do your time. Show them how serious you are, be professional, safe, and learn that trucking is 24/7 and you’ll be doing just fine.

I have driven for PTL for almost a full year and came back again because of how much I missed the people I’ve come to know. PTL has been the company to help me when I needed them the most. They have helped me twice out of situations with past companies and brought me here to keep driving for them, and they made sure I was always taken care of and that I had money over the road so I didn’t starve or go without a shower. I’ve worked with many different people here at this company and enjoy sharing my experiences with the new drivers that come here. :]

PTL feels more like a family and the drivers, dispatchers and maintenance team alike have all been really great.

Form the very start of the application process, I have been impressed with the company. My recruiter, Dan, was very professional and maintained contact with me right up until I arrived at the Lodge. Orientation was very well organized and thorough. I was assigned a driver trainer right away. My trainer, James Coleman, was very knowledgeable and helpful for the entire time I was with him on his truck. It was nice to be on a truck without any maintence issues. The trailers were all in great shape and I was able to get my 2500 miles in about 4-5 days. Now I'm waiting to upgrade .because of weather

A driver stopped to dig my family out of a snowbank.

It was Thursday Feb 23rd (I believe) between 4 and 5 in the afternoon, Oshkosh Wisconsin. He said he was delivering to Amcor on the north side of the city. (I didn't get his name, feel a bit of a jerk about it.)

I have worked for PTL for almost 4 yrs. It is the best company I have driven for. With good pay, plenty of miles. Overall great experience! FM is Tony(El Paso), really great! He takes good care of his drivers. Equipment very well maintained. Would recommend to anyone looking to getting into the trucking industry or looking for new company to drive for.

Currently working read all reviews and gave a chance I kind of knew what to expect. From driving a class b truck..my fleet manager keeps me rolling only broke down once so far I get my mileage in so I am happy with that.. I have been sent to some crazy locations to get into but don’t complain about cause Accept the challenge of getting in to some places.. I haven’t had any issues of pay I have got pay increases like I am supposed to I do what I need to get my job done and keep my FM updated as much as I can other then that I have my benefits my kids have a roof over their heads and I am slowly getting things done for financial stuff... 🤓🤓🤭🤭😪😪😪

The lady was very helpful but I thought they trained you to get your CDLs but they don't offer that yet.

Great people, they keep you working. It's a fantastic place to start a trucking career and the mileage pay is good. It has no cap limit so if you stay long enough you could easy make over a $1 a mile as a company driver and thats paid on loaded and unloaded miles

I've been at PTL for over a year now and I must honestly say that they are a great company. A lot of people may disagree with my statement but I guess it's different strokes for different folks, I'm making good money, I get home when ever I request home time, the crews from each department is very helpful, the bonuses has been lovely so I have no complaints. Some folks are looking for perfect days every day and that's not going to be with any company, you take the bitter with the sweet now, for as owner ops just do more home work before you dive in a situation your not fully educated on, in the meantime, everyone be safe! Reviews are meant for employees or former employees to inform new comers of what to expect if they decide to change companies or start out as a student. Stop posting irrelevant bs. Don't nobody care about what a driver did to y'all cause common sense would tell you not to do it. Things happen for a reason and it is not always a truck drivers fault.

I left PTL after working here for almost 5yrs. Came back after 3wks. Because this is a wonderful place to work. The people are great. They do everything they can to make a driver happy. It took leaving to realize I was all ready with a great company!!!!

Cannot believe how nice my FM treats me. James Nichols is polite, respectful and a professional. I am so lucky to have a job that I love.

I love this place! PTL is not for sensitive types, sugarcoating is not their style. If you’re looking for a job that’s gonna tell you good job!, give you “That a boys...” for doing your job this is not the place for you. Once again I love it, finally a place for men and strong ladies.
