Very clean, fast, big place. I’m familiar with this place in Sandy Springs plaza I worked at Mattress store and always ate Newks for lunch. I was looking for desserts today and due to the Fourth of July holiday all of the desert places were closed so I remembered the strawberry cake and caramel cake here. They had just what I needed. Although the strawberry cake icing was very sweet and the lemon cake slice was thin with not so appealing icing as the strawberry but my mother didn’t complain. Great price and great lunch portion. The chicken salad is made with pecans and grapes, but it is surprisingly delicious as the bread is top-tier and toasted. a little rough on the roof of my mouth but that’s on me to chew better lol. The pasta salad is basic and light flavor, I’ll probably get the chips next time.

In Sandy Springs they have cold food in cooler ready to take now and they have interesting pickles, peppers, crackers in the common space for customers. I didn’t see that here. They have Plenty of seating behind the front counter. Young server and register person were very nice. I tried the veggie pizza no cheese and it was great. The only thing I didn’t like was the pasta salad (it was edible but wasn’t worth the calories) I’m assuming the caramel slice will be the best that’s why I saved it for last. I give this place 5-Star because it’s very appropriate lunch spot. They have shrimp but I’d like to see them add fish or vegan sandwich item maybe a pulled beef roast.

Clean, friendly, organized, great atmosphere and food. Their salads are enormous! My favorite place to go for lunch in Albany.

This place was so good I are there twice in a week! One day I had a Newk's Q pizza with pimento mac and cheese (this was the best mac and cheese I think I have had in my life) the other I had a Newk's Q sandwich with a crab and lobster bisque. I would definitely recommend eating here multiple times per week. I wish there was one in my home town! When I am out traveling for work if I see a Newk's I know where I'm eating! Why are you still reading this??? Go get you some Newk's!!

Excellent pepperoni pizza as usual! Understaffed I guess (no one at the front) I thought they were closed at first. But they have one entrance off a busy road that becomes a bottleneck with people coming and going. Bad location by the city planners. Sure wish we had one in Augusta.

Love this spot! It's so nice inside and the staff are very generous. I had the ultimate salad and it was huge and delicious. My daughter had the kids cheese pizza meal and she enjoyed it. We definitely will be back.

1st time here, never heard of them.

Best greek salad I've ever had, Chicken Pesto sandwich was good too. Even the Pizza tasted good, i dont love pizza but it tasted fresh, it clearly hadnt been sitting for hours. Tomato Basil soup was tad salty but good flavor.

I ordered the Margarita pizza.
It was delicious! Very thin crispy crust, easy sauce with great flavor and the cheese was excellent.
Have also tried Newks Q sandwich...wonderful!

Me and my husband get newks pepperoni pizza every Saturday because it’s just THAT GOOD!!!
If you think you had good pizza in Albany I assumed you went to Newks cause that’s where you will get it! I recommend it to anybody that’s new to the area.
The pizza is so fresh and crisp.
I have the newks app and it’s so good because it has points and has delivery.
I have nothing bad to say about newks, the service, the food and the restaurant is all good.

Service is fast and courteous, especially during lunch. I tried the pepperoni pizza and it was amazing! This place offers a fast casual atmosphere with straightforward prices. My favorite part is getting a "specialty" cup with any beverage purchase.

My grandmother, a family friend and I ate here for lunch. We were so delighted with the entire experience. Very clean atmosphere, easy and convenient ordering, fast service, food was wonderful, fresh and healthy, prices are decent, they have tables blocked off for COVID-19 guidelines, staff wears face masks, everyone was friendly and polite. We were so pleased with everything and will be back very soon!❤

Overall great service and food but My server was not wearing a cowboy hat so I was severely disappointed, would probably return but not likely to recommend for that reason.

I had a great experience at this location. The prices were a little high, but my server (I think I heard other workers calling her Alex) was very apologetic. Her demeanor showed she really cares about her job. That young lady is definitely going places and Newks is lucky to have her!

Was in town with my mom & grandmother doing my grandmother's monthly shopping. The place we intended to eat was closed so we decided to try this place out. I got the Italian sandwich. My mom got a pizza, and my grandmother got the shrimp po'boy. We all enjoyed the food. One minor complaint would be the pasta salad was a little too dry. It's like all the oil had settled to the bottom of the container taking any seasonings with it. The pasta needed a good stir or just completely being re-tossed before serving.

My first time visiting a Newk's Eatery and I was amazed how neat and clean this place was and the food was delicious.

You can tell they are still a bit new. The lady taking my order was not familiar with the menu or the seasonal specials, but was professional and requested help from her supervisor when needed. And they still don't have a liquor license, so no beer and wine yet.

With all of the minor concerns out of the way, it was a nice experience. They were slightly busy, but taking orders quickly and getting the food out quite fast. The place is bigger than it looks from the front. The food was exceptional. My teenage son commented that the Italian sandwich was the best sandwich he's ever had. And if you like green tea, theirs is good and have free refills.

This is a good place to stop for a quick bite. They even have a "grab and go" line with good choices. Or you can enjoy a casual meal if you have the time. If the weather is nice, they have a comfortable and clean patio outside that is a nice place to enjoy some fresh air while you eat.

Lastly, the prices were reasonable for what you get. The food is upscale, but no me pricey than 5 Guys. And the wait staff is happy to help. My sister got half her sandwich for dine in and half for carry out with no issue.

We'll definitely be back and saw several menu items we want to try over our next few visits. They are a welcome addition to Albany and conveniently located.

Newk's has good food, cooked fresh. My favorite is their Spicy Shrimp Pizza with a Caesar salad.

I love Newks! It's always a great atmosphere. Most of their workers are friendly and helpful! I'd recommend to eat their salads there!!! Ordering them to go is cool but it doesn't compare to having it in the bowl. You can even share with a friend. My favorite eats are the farmer market sandwich... add chicken😁, the Mediterranean pizza, and the newks favorite salad with added olives, onions, and sometimes arugula! Try one of those three when you get a chance. You're welcome!
