I have recieved both great and not so great service here, it seems to depend on the time and date. I had accidentally had my package sent to the school instead of my home address over the summer and the staff were really helpful in making sure they had the package and there was a forward on my mail. Everything was there and I felt relieved by the helpful attitude of the staff. During the school year, I wanted to send some packages out to family and the staff were kind and accommodating with me during the process. The only minus are when you have to pick up your package, sometimes the people can be a little rude, but it could just be having to deal with a lot of people wanting to get their mail and becoming tired of it.

Went to pick up a package, as usual, and it wasn’t too busy at all. Though a possibly new person was working there, and she seemed aggravated and called me up. I had my school id and the code ready to scan for my package, but she was not going by the typical system to get packages. Which was fine but I wasn’t prepared to give my school id verbally and my student id numbers which I rarely use even twice a year. So I stumbled over my words enough trying to pull my thoughts together in the only five seconds she had patience for. Which once she got my package, while fast, then asked for the list of numbers of my id that I do not have memorized. I was able to dig in my backpack for my old ID card with it and show her. In return she quite literally slammed my package in front of me, and aggressively. While it’s no ones business to know others mental health such as anxiety and other mental disorders, in a professional setting being mindful of how you treat others is common decency. I don’t expect positivity, I get it, I’ve worked hours before too, but that experience really sucked and was embarrassing. I didn’t say anything and quickly left fighting tears. Thank you for your time.

They've been holding one package hostage for two weeks and another for a week, despite me double checking the site I ordered from to make sure they were properly labelled. Was told "I don't agree with your business days" when I came in and asked about them, despite the fact that my business days were indeed non-holiday weekdays. I've been forced to rely on sunglasses because they refuse to give my glasses to me. Staff show no interest in helping me retrieve my packages even when I'm the only customer in the place.

Also, as a trans student on a supposedly trans-friendly campus, they throw a big fit every time I use my preferred name.

Whenever I order a package, I pray that it doesn’t go through USPS because then I have to deal with the post office. The hours are grotesquely inconvenient, especially since my classes are all on the other side of campus and end later than I can get to the post office. The lack of weekend hours is also incredibly inconvenient. The staff is completely inept, typically taking at least a day to file packages, and there’s always an issue. I am lucky if I don’t have to go there at least twice for the same package. On top of all that, the staff tends to be extremely rude and unwilling to help locate packages. If there was a way to select carriers on Amazon, I would NEVER choose USPS, and it’s because of NAU’s post office. I’m currently on day 3 of attempting to get one package and this is not the first time I’ve suffered this issue. If I could leave a lower review, I would. NAU Postal is a nightmare.

Like every other facility on campus this office is unorganized and unprofessional. I had a very important document arrive here and even though I put in a forward for it THE SAME DAY THEY GOT IT, they sent it back to the original sender anyways, and then were very rude and condescending to me over the phone for no apparent reason. I have no clue where NAU finds these people they hire at their facilities but maybe they need to up their standards a bit for employees because this is ridiculous.

Takes forever to get your package sorted so you can get it.
