Holiday Inn Express & Suites Albany, an IHG Hotel

I travel to Albany quite often and this hotel is by far one of the best. The pre-cooled room felt SO good when it was 108° out! The bed was comfy, the building was quiet, and the breakfast was great. It was everything I was looking for. Didn't get a chance to take advantage of the pool but the water felt wonderful. The room (104) had a strange odor when I walked in and I think it was because the bathroom vent fan wasn't working. Not worth losing a star over but I did alert the front desk. I will definitely be back soon!

Update: Back again and it's still excellent! My 3rd floor east-facing room gave me a great view of the sunrise! I love this place 💕

Great hotel. Clean comfortable rooms, very friendly, helpful attentive staff and a great breakfast. Couldn’t ask for better!!

The room was a nice size and very clean. The breakfast was good and there was a variety of hot and cold options. The desk clerks were friendly, and the location was close to other businesses, which made it very convenient for us to go get gas and food.

Room was clean and spacious. Staff are awesome. I left Bible Study Book and Jacket in the coffee area. Didnt notice I had left them til I was over fifty miles away. They went above and beyond to get these precious items back to me.

This hotel was amazing! We stayed here for 2 days and the breakfasts in the mornings were delicious. The gym area was up to par with most hotels, the pool was clean. The rooms were cleaned very thoroughly before our arrival. They were also able to accommodate our need for a meeting room in the evening time. Staff was very friendly too.

Had a great stay The only problem was they had coffee grounds in the coffee 😞☕

My family and I stayed a night here on our way back from Disney World. We were looking for a nice, safe, comfortable place to stay AND WE FOUND IT. This particular location is really nice. The staff was super friendly, our room was very clean, and the indoor pool was a blast for our daughter. If we’re passing through Albany in the future, we’ll definitely stay here again.

My favorite hotel in Albany. Stayed 3 months during my divorce. They were kind and compassionate during that hard time. That was in 2019. I just stayed there recently last week. Almost all of the same staff are still working there. Great staff. Great place to stay.

My stay here was absolutely wonderful. They accommodated my family and I on every hand. Ms. Betty worked the front desk and she was my favorite of all. Very warm and welcoming. Everything was great.

The staff here is amazing. So nice! I loved the room. It was clean and nice. The breakfast buffet was nice and clean. My son dropped and spilled his milkshake all over the lobby floor. When I attempted to clean it the staff took over and did it for me (I asked for a mop and paper towels and they said no we'll do it - I still feel guilty for not cleaning it up). Every time I was in the elevator with a staff member they were friendly and treated you as family. I would stay here again and again! I didn't really notice the train noise but I live near a train and am used to it. The train would not keep me from staying here.

I can’t say enough good about our experience last weekend. The staff was very accommodating, the rooms clean, the pool welcoming. We had 8 rooms for 2 nights for our relatives coming in town for a funeral. After touring 9 different establishments, this one won out hands down. Thank you again for helping us through a difficult time.

Clean and inviting. Customer service was exceptional. I experienced the most comfortable bed ever, delicious Continental breakfast, refrigerator and microwave in the room, and a workout room and pool. They even had freshly baked cookies in the lobby!!! Wish I could have stayed longer. Loved it!!!!

Overall this hotel is well maintained and managed. I have frequent this location and had an enjoyable time. The staff is friendly and helpful. The building is very modern and updated. The rooms are as well very well decorated and comfortable (besides the pull out sofa mattress). Great spot to stay if you are in the area.

I'll first say that the entire staff is amazing! The General Manager and the Assistant Manager were two of the hardest working women I've seen. They are right there in the trenches with their staff. Ms. Betty...behind the front desk....you have my heart! The housekeeping staff were so accommodating and patient and the kitchen staff made you feel so welcomed. My room was so nice and clean and when my son and I left items in the room after checking out, they were held for us instead of tossed out - - to me that says a lot about the integrity of the people that work there. I'm so glad I decided to stay here....they have my business from now on.

Clean spacious rooms, breakfast was delicious and mostly importantly pillows were fluffy and plenty of clean fresh towels. Customer service was an "A" plus. I did not give a 5 because the coffee in the lobby was cold. Hot coffee is a must. Thank you for a pleasant visit.

We stayed here for 2 nights a few weeks ago for Easter weekend 2018. Hotel is nice and new. Rooms were clean and quiet, couldn't hear any noises from the hallway. Lounge / breakfast area is nice and spacious. Breakfast selections were restocked in a timely fashion. Parking was ample and the lot was well lit at night. Indoor pool looked nice but we didn't get a chance to try it out, maybe next time. We will likely be coming back here on our next stay in Albany.

Very nice hotel. Looks brand new. Bed was super comfy and the breakfast had a lot to choose from and the hot items were delicious! I've never stayed at a Holiday Inn Express before but I will definitely stay again!

I was truly surprised of the comfort ar this hotel. Most places will provide you with cold cereal, fruit, and muffins for breakfast. We received a breakfast that saved time for having to leave the building. The bed was so comfortable that I didn't want to get up. Most hotel mattresses are too firm and uncomfortable. This was just right. The staff were courteous and helpful. If I have another event scheduled, this would be my hotel choice.
