Publix Super Market at Albany Square

Best experience EVER at Publix. Almost every place was PACKED(food wise) and my boyfriend suggested Publix deli literally at 9:25. I don’t like bothering businesses their last 30 minutes, but we were set on it. Kim had the BEST customer service EVER. She even went above and beyond when there was no more ranch for the customer in front of us. Absolutely THE BEST EVER. She didn’t have an attitude because it was late. She did her job and did it with a smile. Love love love great customer service

Awesome store where every staff person speaks and makes the visit welcoming. They actually stop whatever they're doing if it appears to them you need help finding something, they don't hesitate to ask and show you where to find it. I was amazed at how many staff members greeted me and offered help throughout the store as I shopped. I love Publix!

The Publix store was extraordinarily clean, completely stocked, and the baked goods were extra fresh. Pleasant shopping experience. I live 3 hours away and dropped my niece off at the university. We had to pick up her some snacks and other goodies before heading back. Next time I'm in town I will return.

I love Publix!!! They always carry a great variety of international items, and i love that if the fish market does not have the fish you want, they will order it to the store for you!!! Great customer service in the bakery if you need to order a cake, or cupcakes for a birthday or school function!!!

First time going there. Took a minute to be acknowledged and directed where I needed to go to pick up my online order. Otherwise, no issues with my order.

Publix is always great. Store is always clean. Employees are always nice. Great selection of stuff. Now, there is a downside...that it is usually expensive, but you get what you pay for I guess

My husband and I got married July 7, 2023. We had made arrangements for us to pick up our cake at 11 AM on the day of the wedding. Unfortunately, no one told the cake decorator that she had a wedding cake to do so it was not ready when we arrived. She asked for the address of the venue so that she can deliver it. I did not catch her name but the poor darling was a beside herself when she arrived and thought for sure that she wouldn’t be there in time. My nephews hugged her and assured her that everything was ok and her timing was perfect. The cake was stunning, delicious and everything we asked for even on such short notice. Because she felt so awful about the miscommunication, she also included a beautiful fruit topped cake that was also yummy. What could’ve been a truly awful ordeal turned out to exceed any and all of our expectations. 10/10 would highly recommend!!

As a last resort, I turned to Publix for platters for an event. What a delightful surprise. The presentation was very good. All of the food was fresh and of great quality. The people at Publix were super nice and so helpful!! The platters were ready on time and delivered with a smile. What a great experience!! Thank you Publix!!

I don't live in Albany but I go to this location when I'm down in that area. I always order cakes and cupcakes and they never disappoint!

They usually have fast service (except for the sub line, lol). They do have some of the best subs in town, no kidding. I love how fresh the produce always is and how sweet the guy back there always stocking is. I quit buying the sushi on Wednesdays because they do the special to get rid of the old sushi, and it's not fresh on that day. I also quit buying the sushi because there is never anyone working the station during lunch, so getting a custom-made order is like pulling teeth. I love the meat and seafood selection. Overall, it is a great place to shop.

Very clean store. Very helpful staff member, only one thing in the daily Madeleine. Can they wear some over a mouth? What a preparing to food.

Frank was absolutely wonderful, assisting my visually impaired aunt and I. He showed us the wine section, he was coming from the back and saw us. He greeted us right away and asked if we needed assistance. I have to say hands down this is my absolute Top Tier Service; at Publix! Thank You 😊

The manager made sure I got everything I needed, she even brought things for me from the back her self, she had a humble personality, true leader, cashier was also very pleasant, thank you for a great team.

The cakes are my favorite. I won't buy them anywhere else.

The best feature of Publix that sets them apart from other grocery places are the Bogo deals (buy one, get one of equal or lesser value free) in the phone app each week. For the most part, these are money savers and worth the extra trip. Recently, they made some Bogo items restricted to certain oz. sizes or package amounts, which I do not agree with since they tout the equal or lesser value under every Bogo item in the app, but the minor inconvenience doesn't outweigh the savings overall in money. Everything in the store is tidy and clean, especially the fresh deli section, where we are always greeted with curteousy and a smile. Customer service honored an expired rain check from an item that had been out of stock for a month even and was very helpful. Will definitely be returning for these deals!
