Cozy neighborhood spot with fresh coffee, real food and vintage books you didn't know you needed. Staff is friendly, welcoming and add to the atmosphere. Large enough that you can find a quiet place to sit if you need one, even if it's busy.

Abby P. was so welcoming, I stopped into grab a glass of water, use the facilities and was pleased to see a public gender neutral restroom! TY Iris staff for being welcoming of all beings. The outside patio is so amazing, the art that is and hung and support given to local artisans really shines. It also has a very eclectic selection of books.

So comforting and nice with cute decor.
The flavors used are strong, but I love it.

I had the most delicious turkey deli sandwich!
I forgot how adorable this place is. So pleasant inside. Nice outside patio.
Many vegetarian and vegan options as well.
Quality, healthy food. Refreshing change.

Out of towner here but it's a great place to chill and grab a bite to eat. A bit light on books but I don't think that's entirely their focus.

This little cafe very quickly became my favorite study spot. Not only is their coffee fantastic and affordable, the workers are friendly and keep the environment very nice. The books that they have cover vast genres and themes, and being tucked into a corner surrounded by good books is always a great motivation to get my work done and settle in with a story. As a person with ADHD, the vibe of a place can greatly change my ability to focus, and Iris Book Cafe has a vibe that is conductive to concentration, and it makes me determined to keep working.
Check this place out, you will not regret it!

What an unexpected treasure! The girls working there were great. Coffee was good and so was my veggie sandwich! I love the courtyard area. The whole place seems like a calm escape from the bustle of the surrounding urban area.

Delicious coffee and tea, great vegan options for lunch, reeeeally yummy soups, also. Their vegan baked goods are wonderful. Definitely recommend for a workday lunch or coffee.

Love it! It's a cute, quiet bookstore/coffee shop with the best caramel latte I've ever tasted. The bells are also really good. I've spent many Sunday afternoons and evenings studying in there. It's the quintessential coffee shop vibe, for coffee shop lovers like me. There's also an outdoor courtyard and an adjoining record store. You should def check it out!

I love this place. I bought a crazy VHS tape one time and I love coffee!!!!! Also soup? Yes. Who needs anything besides a mostly liquid diet and a shelf of books. Great staff.

It's cozy and quiet and you can work or study or chat and obviously read all while relaxing and enjoying a cup of tea or coffee and tasty bites (for example, soup, cookies). Also, there's a lot of great art on display (some for sale?) and you can buy the books you can't wait until next time to finish. BTW service was friendly and fast.

I've been coming to Iris for many years. Their menu has grown and so has their restaurant. I enjoy the vegan offerings - they really take their food seriously.

I love that there's a bookstore in the cafe - it shifts the atmosphere of the whole entire cafe to be serene and reflective. In the summer, their backyard seating is enjoyable and full of beautiful greenery.

It's a one of a kind Cincinnati treasure!

This is a wonderful independent Cafe, all their dishes appear to be vegan, and the coffee is good. The hours are limited unfortunately, but it is also a decent used book store.

The last time I visited it there was an extension to it next door they had a mixture of many used Books in the basement and many viner records. That extension has changed ownership and it's now strictly only a vintage record store, and the actual books in Iris cafe seem to be fewer then the last time I passed through town and visited but it's still a nice place to relax with a cup of coffee, read, the staff are decidedly bohemian, and it is a refreshing change from the American Starbucks coffee shops that for its landscape

Nice atmosphere for reading or getting some work done. They've always got a good study playlist going and the baristas are very friendly. I love their book selection; it's organized well and it's got an eclectic mix of different genres of fiction and nonfiction. Their coffee is on point. Their iced coffee is so good, it got me out of the habit of putting sugar and cream in my iced coffee. I definitely recommend checking out their patio seating when there's nice weather.

Fantastic place to get work done. The variety of seeting really helps you find the perfect spot whether it's by the window or way in the back where you're nestled among book shelves.

The barista was super nice and there were so many options of food and drink.

Outlets were available at all or most seats.

Amazing vegan food options like a chz coney, soups and baked goods! Great vintage books to buy all around on shelves. Art changes on the walls and is thought provoking. Lovely place to do work or meet up with a friend to catch up. Back patio is mystical.

Friendly staff, cool courtyard, tasty sandwiches, beautiful art, and a great selection of books. I picked up a book published by MOMA to use in my classroom for only $8, which would probably cost around $100 new!

One of my top places to study and work downtown or near campus. Chill and comfortable atmosphere with a variety of art and books to enjoy. The shaded courtyard is great to work in, or just admire from the inside.
