Fromage & Other Fine Foods

We had the cheese plate with five cheeses, different sandwiches and 2 different desserts that everyone shared. The cheeses were unique and it seemed everyone had a different favorite. That was impressive to me, as the cheeses were quite varied. Everything exceeded expectations. The service was great and we had a wonderful lunch. We will definitely be back.

A Clayton can’t miss. Jenny & Mr. Wilson have perfected their craft. The chicken salad was amazing, atmosphere really nice and the curation manifest in the menu rather exceptional. A downtown Clayton gem.

Had a wonderful lunch there. I had a coconut chicken sandwich with blue cheese and peaches - a creation by their chef. It was Yummy! I The service was fast a friendly. I plan on returning.

Well, this is an addition to my review because I returned with my wife. As it turns out she loves it as much as I do. The staff is amazing and the food delicious. The chef Jennifer changes the menu up on a regular basis so each visits brings new wonderful dishes. We plan on returning again in the near future.

We were not the best customers but they were very gracious!! We changed our reservation at the last minute and stayed much longer at our table then we should have. The food was delicious with lots of fresh veggies. We shared a warm brownie with ice cream. Extra good!! Then they helped us get pictures afterwards. Thank you so much to the Fromage!!!

My husband and I ate a late lunch here on New Year’s Eve day. It was their last day open before closing for the winter season. They were out of several things but made some wonderful alternate suggestions and delicious suggestions they were. Chicken salad was so yummy. My husband had their chili and said it was very good. This is a hidden gem that truly shines.

A fantastic experience of unique and delicious blends of foods I've ever had. The combination of chicken tacos with fruit and jalapenos along with elderberry creme brulee for dessert was enough to convince me to make this a necessary stop every time we come to visit north Georgia again. It is definitely worth checking out even if you have to go out of your way to do so.

I tried it for the first time a little over a year ago and it was very good! One of the best sandwiches I have ever tasted, the grilled crab salad & emmental on pumpernickel w/raspberry cherry comfit. I follow the page because although it is a hour away from me I will make the drive if they have this sandwich again! Other than this sandwich their other food I’ve tried is also excellent and anytime I happen to be in Clayton this is my restaurant of choice for sure cause they always have unique delicious options! 💕 Do yourself a favor, GO HERE!

My friend brought me to this gem of a restaurant and I had the privilege to meet the talented feisty chef Jenny! If you are near Lake Burton or near Clayton, GA, you must try this yummy restaurant! The food is fresh and such great balance of flavor and texture!! And great taste/selection in products(cheeses)!! I enjoyed it all! Thank you!

Stopped in for lunch, but unfortunately they did not have enough staff to serve indoors and it was quite chilly. Just got some cheese, brownies and cake to go. The cheese and brownies were delicious, but the almond,coconut and chocolate chip cake was out of this world! I was not a cake person until now.

Our favorite lunch spot in Georgia! Service is always amazing; they take such good care of our kids' requests and diet restrictions. Very impressive desserts and fruit/cheese selections as well as their tasty entrees and vegetarian choices.

This place is way beyond awesome!!!! Great healthy, fresh and organic food. The owners, cheff, and wait staff took their time and explained the menu. Very friendly and welcoming. The cool thing about this place is that the menu changes every week. It's located on the next street over from the main road but it's not much of a detour. Please check them out! The only thing is, because the food is made fresh, it will take a little time to make, but I promise it's well worth the wait!

Wonderful, unique food. The menu changes weekly, so you always have something new to look forward to. The sweet tea and chicken salad are some of the best I’ve had, and the desserts are beyond amazing! Service has always been excellent. It’s a must try in a Clayton!

There were 5 of us that dined on the patio for lunch. Several of us had the "No Sandwich" dishes which were fantastic! The desserts included the creme brulee, blueberry muffin and the chocolate cake with ice cream...all were absolutely perfect!! This little hidden jewel of a restraunt is on our return list...as it is with many other folks!! Get there early...you'll be glad you did...

A wonderful surprise! We shad lunch here a few weeks ago when passing through Clayton. I was hesitant to stop because of the odd logo on the building. I’m so glad we did! Delicious sandwiches, a huge kid’s meal, and yummy quinoa salad. Terrific food and friendly staff.

My husband and I did our wedding catering through Fromage. The food was phenomenal, and we received multiple compliments from our guests on the dishes. Jenny and crew showed up early, helped get things set up for our bartenders (who were late), and made sure we didn't worry about anything. Thank you!

Our group of 11 stopped in for lunch on the way to our knitting retreat. It was fantastic! I had the chicken salad salad and it was the best I've ever had! I hope to stop in again on future trips up here.

Another hidden treasure! Set up in a beautiful 115 yr old home, this restaurant will take you back in time not only visually but back way before processed foods existed.

Most everything is made fresh from scratch. Service is top notch and desserts are a must have however, they do go fast, order early when you come in or you might miss them.

The food was delicious. We had an odd experience where a lot of their specialties & all their desserts were sold out completely, and they were understaffed (someone called out sick), but I was very impressed with their care for their customers. Next time I'm up this way, I will eat here again!

Great place for lunch. The food was awesome. The steak on my sandwich was perfectly cooked and delicious. My wife had the tomato pie special, which was very flavorful.
The waiter and atmosphere was nice.
