I'm loving this gym so far. I like all 3 locations, but this is my go to for working out. Staff has been fantastic! Equipment is plentiful and clean, amenities are top-notch. Gift-shop and smoothie bar have plenty of great options if that's something you're after.

I love my gym! It's always clean, staff is friendly and attentive, the availability of equipment is always great. I've had a family membership for almost 8 months and this was a great decision for us.

This is such a great place when you need a temporary escape. Workout, sweat, swim, get in the sauna, sweat, get in the steam room, sweat more. Need to take a shower so you don’t smell, they got those for your convenience. Just need to bring your own shampoo and conditioner, and don’t forget soap. Oh and a towel, unless you just want to air dry. (When you have a towel it is no problem to air dry, but when you forget your towel, that’s when air drying sucks). If you want to take a break from working out and have an urge to spend some money, they have a gift shop so you can treat yourself. Because treating yourself makes you happy, and working out makes you sweaty. Don’t worry if you forget to bring snacks or water (feel like you’re gonna pass out because you just did a 30 minute dance workout) they have vending machines. If you happen to bring your kid(s) with you, they have a play area just for the kids so they can burn their energy all while you are burning those calories. Let me stop bragging, hopefully this review is helpful, if I can think of any other helpful tips, I’ll make sure to add it. I love the atmosphere, the people, the employees, the cleanliness. Almost everything about this place is perfect. The only thing I don’t like is that the wall colors and floors are kinda ugly for photos but overall it’s a great gym and the people around you are mostly friendly. Definitely worth the price.

My family and I have been members of Cross Gates Family Fitness for years now and we enjoy being there. It’s a very clean facility and they even have a women’s only area, which I enjoy. The childcare staff is great with my children and my kids have a lot of fun playing there. The staff is wonderful and they treat everyone with such kindness. If you are looking for a fitness center to join, I highly recommend them!

I’ve been to this gym many times with family and friends. The staff is extremely courteous and professional. The facility is maintained very well. I have been to other gyms where I feel like just a number. However, at CrossGates you feel like they value each member and appreciate you being there. Keep up the great work!

As a habitual gym-goer and mother of two kids, Cross Gates is the complete package! The fitness center is well maintained with plenty of equipment ( never a wait) and amenities and the staff members are very professional. The best part is you get to enjoy the workout knowing your kids are being well taken care of in the play area. The kids enjoy all the activities/toys and never want to leave!

Very friendly and welcoming staff. The facilities are very clean. I have only taken one class, but Vilma the water aerobics instructor is AMAZING. She walks you through everything and helps you if you need it. The class welcomed me as family. Absolutely wonderful.

Love this gym!!! The staff is friendly and very accommodating, and I can’t say enough good things about the child care workers. They have a large selection of weight lifting machines and free weights. Highly recommended!

Cross Gate Family Fitness is a GREAT place for helping you achieve your fitness goals. I have never once stepped foot in one of their facilities and not been greeted by some of the most friendliest of staff members as well as had access to more facilities, classes and tools needed in helping me reach my goals. Highly recommend!!

Top notch facility for health and wellness. Love that there are three different locations to choose from, as well as class schedules and indoor/outdoor pools. Above all, the locker rooms/bathrooms/showers are always clean. This makes it great for a working mom who hurries to the gym then straight to work.

Crossgates Is a great gym. I have been a member for several years and it is MUCH better than my last gym.

With 3 locations and lots of hours (some locations open 24/7) it is very convenient.

The facilities are second to none! I prefer the Military location because of the sauna, steam room and hot tub in the locker room.

The services provided are far too numerous to include in a brief review, but if you check out the website (of use the free first visit) you will find that there isn't much they don't provide.

One of the really great things is that they have LOTS of different classes (from aerobics to Zumba) and almost all the classes are included in the membership. I know CrossFit costs extra and there might be others, all the classes that my family members are interested in have been free.

One minor complaint is that towels are NOT free. It costs $1 to rent a very small, cheap towel. On the other hand, you can always bring your own.

In my opinion, there is no full service gym that comes close in value, convenience and facilities!

I have been going to Cross Gate Family Fitness in Slidell for about 1 month and have enjoyed it tremendously! The diversity of activities including machines, yoga and other classes, health bar, swimming pool, weights, and much more are appreciated. The facility is kept clean, staff is professional and helpful. I highly recommend any of their locations in Slidell. Great job, Cross Gates Family Fitness!

It's a great place to work out! The staff are friendly, the facility is kept clean, and the group classes are fun! So many classes to choose from to lose weight while having fun!

Awesome fitness center! I recently did a Team Training class here and regularly use the child drop off care. It has always been a great experience. Highly recommend!!
