Don Sol Mexican Grill

Very good food and super fast service and at a great price. I would definitely recommend going here for a quick lunch or dinner.

Came in for a quick dinner. Place was PACKED.. Got a single seat immediately and was served very fast. Chips and drinks in 2 seconds. Very fast service. Kicked up salsa with some nice hot sauce. Went with the steak and shrimp YUM Great service nice food!

This restaurant is not cheap. Quite the contrary... But the food is definitely worth the price. The waiter was courteous and attentive. The place was packed when I was there but the customers kept the volume at a decent level. Certainly a place I will be visiting again

My go-to Mexican restaurant in Murray. Their margaritas are amazing and they will make them to go if you can’t finish or just want one for later. The salsa is really good. I haven’t been disappointed yet!

Food here just seems fresher and more homemade than other Mexican places. It's a little tight in there and DARK but service is typically good, fast and food is excellent. NOTE -prices here are higher than other Mexican places so sadly, that makes it very hard financially to eat here as much as I'd like. Plan to spend $20 per person.

Don Sol is very underrated compared to other restaurants in Murray.

First, the service. Every single staff member that I have encountered has been very friendly and kind. Usually the food comes out pretty fast, in a good way.

Second, the atmosphere. The atmosphere is perfect. You get a great vibe from the Mexican theming and the music played. It is just great.

Last, but not least, the food. The food is absolutely delicious!! My go to for a long time was the chicken quesadilla, since I used to be a picky eater. A lot of grease, but man it is delicious. There are different and unique items, like the Hawaiian take on a quesadilla. I haven’t tried it, but my mom loves it. However, you CANNOT pass up on the cheese dip. It is the best kind I have ever had!!

If you are looking for a Mexican restaurant in Murray Ky, try Don Sol. It is a great restaurant and possibly one of the best in the town!

Their chips are to die for. Every time we return to Murray we come back.

Excellent food, wonderful staff, great atmosphere

Tamales, Tamales, Tamales!!! This place is a tiny, almost hidden gem tucked in between a liquor store and a clothing shop but oh boy you won't regret seeking ot out. In a town with so many Mexican food options, each has to carve out a niche to set them apart from the others and Don Sol is THE PLACE for the best Tamales in town! Their other food options are excellent but basically on par with the others. Another standard of excellence is chip quality...Don Sol has fresh, sturdy chips and delicious guacamole/queso.

Wow, amazing place. Love the atmosphere and customer service. The chips are crisp and crunchy, the salsa is awesome. Get the fajita nachos or the MONSTER BURRITO!! You'll never regret eating here.

I love this place they have some delicious queso. This is the place me and my family go when they come to visit me in college always a good time. Staff is very friendly two thumbs up.

Best Mexican food I've eaten in Murray! It's all cooked correctly, like the flauta was ACTUALLY a flauta!!! Same with the chinichanga, and the Mexican style tacos, which were Divine! It was not too salty - like half the places here... The service was fantastic and the restaurant was clean and had a great atmosphere! OHHH and it was a little busy but we still didn't have to wait! ¡Gracias!

Staff were great. Our waitress was new, however pleasant & wanted to have happy customers - which we were. The food was very good. Someone else said, from before visit, they would like more refried beans with the meals. Mine were fine for me.

My wife and I have been eating at Don Sol's since it opened. The decor is tasteful - less like a mom and pop and more toward higher end, though the prices are not high end at all. The portions are generous and the food excellently prepared (at least what we like). Of note is their "mexican" or traditional chopped avocado guacamole. Their pork dishes are delicious. There is adequate heat in the pepper dishes without excess. I'm sure there is bland somewhere on the menu; we just don't do bland. The staff is genuinely friendly and attentive without the fake fawning you get at some places. When we gift our friends with meals it is Don Sol's.

5 stars all the way.. good food filled with flavor. Polite excellent service.

My absolute favorite Mexican restaurant in our area!!! Staff goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. The food portions are HUGE!!! The Margaritas are perfection 💛 The management is always on staff and making sure you enjoyed your experience. If you haven't tried them out yet then do yourself a favor and go get you some!!!
