The Trace is a beautiful place to ride your bike or walk/jog if you like. Attached are random photos I’ve taken of wildlife or landmarks along the way from Covington to Slidell. I was impressed with all the clean restrooms and facilities!

Absolutely love riding this it's a different area than where we normally bike and we've been coming to Slidell and going you know a nice 30 to 40 miles we come from out of town and I still find it fantastic just love everything going down visuals and everything pretty damn smooth most of the path.

A true treasure, not only the trail-head but the nearly 30 miles of trail. Our group had people who traveled all the way from Houston just to ride it.

Clean restrooms. Had a table to sit at and eat our picnic lunch after we went on our bicycle ride. Hung out with about 30 turtles!

The trace is a beautiful paved pathway for riding, skating, boarding or just walking or running. I take my daughter out to pick flowers along the side of path. You'd be amazed at all the different kinds of flowers that grow along the trace. Well I won't say more, go see for yourself.

It quite and very slow pace to watch the turtles 🐢 at the bridge. Take a friend or whom ever you've been hanging w these last months. Safety first. And bike ride is a great way to get out and still be safe.

This is a nice little part of slidell that still has some nature to it. It's got lots of paths and is great for biking or walking. You can bring your kids to play on the playground also. It's completely free and handicap accessible also!

Excellent Rail to Trail multipurpose use trail, facilities include bathrooms, water fountains, picnic tables, benches, free maps, good parking and
