Very happy with completing my TRUST/Will/ DPOA this year with attorney Nikki Mitchell and team. Process was smooth, personable, timely, and very responsive. Prompt follow thru for all needed documents and information.

A great law firm! They helped me get guardianship for my brother who was being neglected in a nursing home. Staff was professional & helpful. They made everything simple for me during that difficult time. My lawyer was on point with the whole process. They are truly advocates for the disabled, elderly & their families. Prices were also reasonable.

i paid 500 for a less than an hr. to chat, thought is was good and my assuming that they would be a good fit, to help, was sadly mistaken... it took 2 weeks then another 2 weeks to get an answer on what direction I needed to move forward with their firm.
4 weeks, in my opinion is neglect and they don't care.
of course i'm paying the invoice. here we are, we are only billable hours to make them feel special.
i will pass along to the firm that referred me.

In the late 2010's a friend recommended "Martha Brown & Associates" to my mother my regarding estate planning. She wanted Ms. Brown to represent her but instead we were assigned to Ms. Mitchell. To make a long story short, Ms. Mitchell never even made a cursory check of her case file regarding the existence of a disputed document. Instead, she failed to take any action on behalf of my mother because the she had the only existing copy of the document and admonished the family to produce it. This dragged out the case and my mother was billed several thousand dollars for a few unproductive meetings. Only when we switched to another law firm was the document discovered. Ms. Mitchell declined my request for a partial refund of fees that were charged only because of her failure to even skim the case files. She also failed to apologize for her mistake.

This may or may not have been a good law firm under Ms. Brown. Whatever goodwill this firm accumulated has been squandered, rather rudely, by Ms. Mitchell and the current partners.

Martha was absolutely horrible. I don’t understand how she is still practicing law. Our first meeting wasn’t free plus she didn’t tell us a thing we didn’t already know. Then she pitted one sibling against another to rack up fees. At every turn she added delays and additional fees. She lied, misrepresented facts, and had us tied up in court forever. Once she was fired we were able to quickly find a resolution and close probate. We lost thousands of dollars and our family is torn apart mostly because of her. My advice is RUN! Find someone else to work with you because this person will take all she can and then turn around and blame you. Horrible person.

I made a 400 dollar Consultation with a 3000 retainer fee told to me by Liz and when I went to consultation and paid 400 dollars I was told it was 5000 retainer up to10 or 13 thousand dollars and told receptionist quoted that price and she doesn't know what she was talking about And I feel they just got me in there to get 400 dollars knowing they weren't going to take case when they jacked up the price,
