Took my granddaughters bike to Billy Goat Bicycle Company for a general checkup. The gentleman working there was friendly and accommodated our request to check out the bike. He seemed knowledgeable and helped us install training wheels on the kiddos bike. Overall seems like a good shop.

I worked with Dirk to order a Trek Roscoe. He was super responsive to emails and phone calls, and then was a pleasure to work with in person. Extremely knowledgeable, yet humble, which is a rare combination these days. Will definitely be back to Billy Goat for future cycling needs!

Recently the right shift lever (SRAM) on my road bike broke. I shopped online for the parts (entire assembly of shift lever, brake lever, cables, etc.) and ordered them, intending to do the installation myself. When I received the parts and looked into actually doing the replacement, I decided I didn't want to do it but would have a bike shop pro do it instead. Took it to Billy Goat and they said no problem, they could do it. They had the repair completed within three days and it was perfect, and at a fair cost. I am completely satisfied and would highly recommend them to anyone needing service on their bike!

Although I've been riding for a very long time I'd never dealt with Billy Goat and therefore had at least some initial jitters when it came to replacing my road bike. Dirk, Dave and Mike all made the experience of buying a new bike an easy and reassuring one. They struck me as totally professional and not greedy..one of those few retail places where you feel that they're looking out for you so you wisely, decide that you want to be loyal to them. A smart, long range plan!

I bought my bike at Billy Goat Bicycle, six years ago, your tune ups are free when you purchase your bike with them, which is awesome. They have been so great over the years, and recently the owner took time out of his day to give me a full demonstration of how I change a tire on my bike. They will always go above and beyond for their customers, great people, great service, they have won my business for life!

Dirk and the whole Billy Goat team are awesome! I moved to St. Louis 3 years ago and was worried when I got here I wouldn't be able to find someone to give me the same bike care and service I was used to in Florida. Boy was I surprised. Their team has been amazing at every interaction. I've had work done on both of my bikes here and am never let down. Fantastic service! Brought my bike in for a pretty substantial tune-up that involved replacing the shifters, and the team at Billy Goat did a beautiful job. They also gave a me a discount because the repairs took a while due to no fault of their own (shifters were hard to get during the pandemic). Would definitely recommend coming here :)

Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful staff. Great customer service. Staff makes appropriate recommendations in line with customers’ needs. I have purchased a bike, two wheel sets, and some accessories in the past couple years, and the staff has always taken the time to listen to my interests and goals and then determine appropriate products. When I was getting into cycling a few years ago, I shopped and did research at multiple stores, and I consistently received the best service at Billy Goat. When my father was shopping for a road bike last year, I told him that Billy Goat was the best place to shop. He also purchased a bike there and has been very happy. It is truly a value-added experience.

I had a great experience from the first visit. Greeted by knowledgeable staff that was more than happy to answer my plethora of questions. I brought my bike in the same week for a tune-up and spent some more time discussing accessories I was considering purchasing. What impressed me was that they were more interested in making sure that I understood the right accessories for the right reasons, instead of just selling me products to make the sale.

I went to this shop to look for a new mountain bike. Although they didn’t have what I was looking for in stock, they were very helpful! They provided a very reputable source for used bikes, as well as information about taking riding to a competitive level. I couldn’t suggest this place enough! The employees are kind and helpful!
