Holloway Park

My 9 year old and my 2 year old both love this park, and so do we. We're so lucky to have this lovely, newly renovated park in walking distance to our home.

Playground: The playground was completely redone in the spring of 2023, so the reviews from before then (of the orange playground) are outdated. The new playground equipment is amazing! There's a large play structure for older kids, and an smaller for little kids. There's also a rotating climbing structure and a really neat musical instruments setup. The monkey bars are stellar.

Courts: There are four very nice, freshly surfaced pickleball courts and one tennis court. They are nicely lit and are frequently all in use!

Seating and picnicking: there is a pavilion with picnic tables located conveniently close to the playground, and there is other good seating around the perimeter. The shelter cannot be reserved, per Ballwin's website. The lawn surrounding the playground is nicely maintained and would be great for setting out a picnic blanket on. There's a second covered picnic area closer to the courts.

Dog-friendliness: Leashed dogs are welcome and frequently appreciated by my children! There's a super cute dog statue at this park, so it feels like the kind of place dogs are welcome.

Restrooms: I haven't personally used them but they exist!

Best recreational park ever

Fun for Families, easy to get to, plus they've updated the basketball net! Pickleball Courts, Tennis Courts, Play Area for Kids. Convenient.

They have a slide!

Grandchildren live this park! Not a crowded place. A hidden gem.
