Dead Sure Studio

I spent the better part of this year (and so did my wife) visiting Jessie for custom work on and off. I had at least 7 sessions, and my wife had 4-5. All of our tattoos are some of the most impressive work I’ve seen anywhere online or in person, and Jessie went above and beyond to make us feel at home, comfortable and appreciated. You can tell she pours everything she has into her designs and learning new skills and I really can’t recommend her enough. She deserves every bit of the crazy schedule she’s earned 😁

Dead Sure Studio is everything a tattoo studio should be. The space is super clean, inviting md comfortable...BONUS, they provide snacks! Everyone at the studio is so nice and they all make you feel like you've been friends forever.
Jessie is the artist I am working with on my Pusheen half sleeve and from Day 1 Jessie has made feel comfortable, eased all my anxiety and gladly answered all questions I had. I can't wait to finish up my piece and show it off to everyone:)

I had a wonderful experience. Everyone was welcoming and the studio was clean and decorated with eye-catching art. Jessie did an amazing job on my tattoo. Her design captured exactly what I wanted with her style baked in. I’m so so happy with it. It’s very easy to see her passion for her work.

I loved talking with her (I learned a bunch of interesting new facts about art history, travel in Japan, etc..) , and I left with a generous bag of aftercare supplies.

I have pretty terrible social anxiety and sometimes get mealy- mouthed or say, frankly, weird stuff. The folks here took it in stride and made me feel comfortable. You can tell they all put their love into what they do.

I will definitely be coming back again to hopefully work with Jessie and the other fantastic artists here.

Dead Sure studio is hands down the best shop in St. Louis. The ambiance is welcoming and open; the space is curated magnificently. The artists are all fantastic. Aaron is arguably a genius. This place is for anyone who wants quality art in a refreshing environment from some of the best people in this city. Without a doubt, this place is a gem.

The tattoos I’ve gotten with Jessie at Dead Sure have been some of the best tattoo experiences I’ve ever had. Everyone there is lovely and the atmosphere is very calming and welcoming. And obviously the artists are extremely talented.

Everyone was sweet and cool to talk with, the studio had great atmosphere. Personally I was tattooed by Jesse and she did an amazing job. If your looking for cute, creepy, anime, detailed work they are your shop!

Jessie is AMAZING! The whole studio had great vibes and made for such a relaxing and safe environment. Jessie was so welcoming and sweet and her work speaks for itself. Just overall a very talented artist with lots of patience and skill and wants you to leave loving your piece as much as possible!

Dead Sure Studio is a remarkable, friendly, professional, and comfortable studio with a range of talent, style, and personalities. Each artist as their own unique art that has drive and passion behind it where you time here doesnt feel like its just for money, it feels like they are doing for the joy of your vision of art. This is absolutely my main recommendation for ink, absolutely an amazing experience and money well spent.

Walking into this place feels like you're just coming to vibe with some friends for a few hours. The studio is so cozy, everyone is nice as hell, and their tattoos are incredible.

I've been to Aaron twice at this point for blackout stuff. Not only is his work amazing, but he really goes the extra mile to make sure you're comfortable. He checks in often, offers snacks/juice if you're dying, and is just an all around nice dude. I got really lightheaded after a recent appointment with him, and he took the extra time to make sure I felt better before I left. Seriously a stand up guy. Can't recommend him enough.

The literal BEST experience I have ever had getting a tattoo. Everyone was super friendly, super chill, they have SNACKS and DRINKS ???!!!! never have I had the opportunity to refuel at the salon. They also give a free aftercare kit????? Man. They are doing tattooing correctly. Megan did my Mitsuri tattoo and made it looks GORGEOUS. Honestly do not know how or if I could ever go to a different shop. Amazing experience, and all the artists there are wicked talented and so nice.

Jessie is a talented artist, and such a compassionate tattoo artist. The most comfortable I’ve ever been getting a tattoo, and a shop where I’d be comfortable getting work done by any of the artists.

They are awesome, and the aftercare was extremely smooth with the supplies they gave me. I made another appointment before I left!

These folks are amazing artists, super friendly, and extremely professional. B was my artist on this piece. She was able to take my jumbled, incoherent request and create something I absolutely love. The atmosphere in the studio is relaxing, and it is obvious that everyone there genuinely cares about their work and the satisfaction of their clients. Keep up the great work!

Very clean and hygienic space and practices. B does amazing work! She pays attention to detail, takes her time with the line work (honestly the best I’ve seen in a very long time), and listens to and works with her clients to give them a great tattoo and experience! I constantly receive compliments on my tattoo and plan to her do more tattooing on me in the future. Highly recommend!!

Jessie was so amazing & really makes you feel at home. She takes so much pride in her work and has such an awesome attention to detail that’s so refreshing to see. She really cares and makes sure you absolutely love it before doing anything else. She’s an amazing artist and an even more genuine and sweet person! Highly recommend.

Easily the best tattoo and shop experience I've had. The private studio setting is bright and clean, they are all so hospitable, offering drinks and snacks, and every detail has been thought of. Aaron helped me with a blackout blastover half sleeve, and he did a thorough consultation, remained in contact when I had another idea, and made sure day of that I was happy with the final design no matter what. He's a solid blackout tattooer. Such a clean, saturated black. All of the artists there are friendly and conversational, you just feel among friends. I would get tattooed by any of them. The after tattoo care package provides you with lotion tubes, a little in shop made skull soap (!!!!), and care instructions, which is such a refreshing touch. I truly cannot stop saying good things about this place and the quality and excellent treatment I received.

I found Megan by happenstance at her previous location and am thrilled by this studio! This was not my first tattoo experience, but it has to be the best I've ever had. Megan and Jessie went into depth about a concern I had with my previous piece and put me at ease about being able to continue with my sleeve. They are thorough, kind, professional and incredibly knowledgeable. Not to mention the absolutely INCREDIBLE take home "care package"! I'm already scheduled to sit in Megan's chair next month. 10/10 recommend.

This place is incredible. I had a tattoo done here by B. The entire experience was absolutely fantastic. B went above and beyond to hear about my design ideas, addressed all of my questions, all with the utmost patience and professionalism. She and the other amazing artists (Jessie and Aaron) made me feel welcome and comfortable. They provide fantastic and detailed aftercare instructions and products that are included with the tattoo as well, making healing much easier. They have a beautiful, clean shop that adds more to the already perfect experience. This studio now will have me as a forever customer. I am so happy with my beautiful Witcher tattoo, and I can't wait to go back to the studio and see B again. Truly the best tattoo experience I have ever had. Thank you all!

I went to B for two tattoos and both times I was incredibly impressed and happy. Not only is the studio incredibly comfortable but the work produced is PHENOMENAL. All the artists truly wish to provide the best service for their customers and it shows in ebery detail of the studio. The artists want what is best for you. Both of my tattoos turned out amazing. B is incredibly talented, easy to talk to, and so much fun. I have no negatives about the studio. I could not recommend Dead Sure Studio enough.
