Breakfast was fantastic! Short rib hash my fiance ordered was amazing ! I'm ordering this next time. I ordered the biscuits and gravy I highly recommend. Coffee was top notch lady making coffee this morning was on top of it. She's a great worker keeping up with all the drinks. Very friendly staff and atmosphere for the family. You order your food/drink they give you a number and you either pick up stairs or down stairs set that number at your table and they will bring out your food. Your drink they will call your name or number they give you. Will definitely be back service was quick. Also biscuits are to die for. Thank you keep up the great work.

Very tasty breakfast. Extremely popular on a Saturday morning. Upstairs eating area, somewhat lofted. It's rather small and crowded up there, but nice.

I ordered a biscuit with gravy and a cold brew. Was surprised when they asked how I wanted my eggs, and even more so when they brought breakfast potatoes as well! That's a great bargain for $14, but it was also too much breakfast for myself and two of my three dining companions.

Anyway, it was wonderful and I'll definitely go back.

I had the breakfast quiche and strawberry smoothie. The quiche had bacon and sausage plus it came with some fancy potatoes. The quiche was tasty but the serving was definitely on the smaller side. The potatoes were incredible and filling. The smoothie was one of the best I’ve ever had. Great fruity taste and smooooth. I had the food delivered and I placed the quiche and potatoes in the air fryer while I attacked the smoothie. The quiche and potatoes reheated nicely.

I have been here a couple of times for brunch and love the food and environment! Everything is very reasonably priced; I’ve gotten the French toast and pancakes and both plates come with so much food!! They also have great coffee, and plenty of seating.

Pioneer has never done me wrong. When it was McArthur's, awesome. Now that it's Pioneer, even better!! The breakfast potatoes were amazing, and they were just a side dish to the biscuits and gravy. Just great. I really hit the spot. I love this place, and should have reviewed it much sooner. These folks do great work, and their staff is always friendly.

This place is absolutely wonderful. First time here and the service was beyond exceptional - they even made my daughter Mickey Mouse pancakes! The biscuits and gravy was so delicious also. Will definitely be back!

Nice atmosphere great place for coffee breakfast and pastries. I must say, the young ladies their were very professional, very nice personalities, and as an extra they are all very good looking to boot! Nothing wrong with that. I highly recommend it!

Delightful place for breakfast. I tried the short rib hash. It was different than I expected as the potatoes were fried and more liked what I would consider a skillet as the items were built upon the foundation of the deep fried potatoes with the eggs residing on top.

Parking is on the street, so that can be problematic.

I ordered hazelnut coffee, as no sadly in both the cups of coffee I had O could not detect the hazelnut. I asked a friend to smell and try and she could not either.

One must go up to a place inside the restaurant to order, but they will bring the food to the table.

Fantastic bakery in downtown Kirkwood. Beautiful inside with lots of space. Many delicious options. I wanted something light so I got the bacon, egg, and cheese brioche. Very good! The staff was very friendly and I was happy to learn that any tips they make are donated to helping people with developmental disabilities find employment – a most noble cause.

I had a slice of the quiche and a lemon strawberry custard donut, both were very good. Will be back.

I stopped in for the first time yesterday. I'm more of a bakery fan than a breakfast food fan, so I tried a chocolate iced sprinkle cake donut, a pecan Danish, and a snickerdoodle cookie.

The cake donut was soft and moist with a medium dense consistency, and the chocolate icing was perfect. The Danish was also delicious. The pecan filling had a good flavor and a nice level of sweetness. It was also on the large size for Danishes. The snickerdoodle cookie, however, was pretty average. I thought it could have used more sugar and cinnamon. It was a very large cookie. It just tasted more like an undersweetened sugar cookie than a snickerdoodle. It was soft it a nice crisp edge. It just wasn't my cup of tea.

As I'm prone to doing, I got excited and started chowing down before I thought to take pictures. Overall, I liked it a lot. I'll definitely be back!

Cutest little bakery and ice cream shop in downtown Kirkwood. The decor is very nice and welcoming. You immediately see your self hanging out with friends or family!

Cool spot, nice staff, comfortable digs, wide ranging menu and quality food. Came in with my two boys on a whim, scored points by getting to sit at the ice cream counter. Home fries were amazing along with the sausage egg and cheese biscuit. Goat cheese and short rib omelet left me speechless. I also want to point out that the mission of this establishment is very noble and kind.

I'm so glad to see this place open again, and with such a great mission and partnership. I stopped by late on Sunday, and there was still an amazing selection of delicious pastries and the menu looked delicious!!!!! We had the chocolate gooey butter cake danish and cheese danish... Both incredible and will not disappoint! There's lots of seating options and the staff was immensely polite and efficient and paid great attention to cleaning.

It's a nice cafe/bakery. Got a chai here but I hear the coffee is good. It was a nice quiet place to meet up with a friend and I saw many people coming in to order food. They have meals, coffee, tea, donuts, etc. It is street parking but if you look on one of the side streets, there is more parking available.

The breadfast potatos is awesome! The potatos is garlic roasted, taste great. There is an ice cream bar, they are good.

Perfect little spot with plenty of seating even on a busy Saturday morning!! The avocado was super fresh on the toast and the coffee was great!

I work around the corner, so I drop in pretty regularly. Their food is always consistently good, and their staff is nice and attentive. Their Turkey Melt is my fav.

I stopped in to the Pioneer Bakery Cafe this weekend and found a really beautiful interior and absolutely delicious donuts! They have all kinds of amazing baked goods available including some killer long johns and cake donuts!

Best breakfast quiche I have ever had! All of my family said their food was amazing, too. The staff was extremely friendly and their mission to employ people with different abilities to help them build work skills is extremely admirable. Would recommend to everyone wanting a chill breakfast
