Charlotte's Rib Barbecue

Been a customer of Charlottes Rib for nearly 40 years. Although they have moved locations the food is just the same - excellent. This is a hidden BBQ secret if you are not familiar with this restaurant. They employees are family and you will certainly get to recognize them every time they are in. My favorite is their sliced beef brisket. Keep up the good work!

I thought I was back in Texas for a moment. Friendly people, great atmosphere and some of the best BBQ I have ever had. The beef brisket was tender and had a great smokey flavor. The baked beans and cole slaw were equally as good. You wont be disappointed!

I had the brisket plate with their fries and slaw, and everything was just excellent. We were able to get extra sauce for our meat, and it was just a very good meal all around. The service was outstanding, and prompt. Overall, I have to give Charlotte's Rib 5 stars. We will be back, again.

We had a long drive and decided to try some St Louis bbq and we were not disappointed. We tried the ribs, ham, brisket, chicken, bbq Sammy with fries, potato salad and finished with the blackberry cobbler. It was delicious. Lisa was great and helpful and a real pleasure to meet!!! When on a long journey it makes a big difference to be treated like you’re at home, and she did that for us. Thanks so much for a great experience!

First time customer. Just left after eating my meal and had to write a review because of how great my food was. Opted for the smoked hot wings and baked beans. Beans were classic smoke flavor with bacon, not much heat at all (suited me just fine). The wings were phenomenal! The hot sauce is special. Can easily be identified as postmaster crafted sauce. Perfect use of lemons in the cooking process to tame the nostrils but still offer heat. Well done! I will definitely be back soon.

Great food and service. I had a sampler plate of pulled pork, sliced ham and brisket. All tasty! The sides were good too, especially the chunky applesauce. We had some of their homemade pie for dessert and were not dissapointed. Combined with an informal atmosphere and reasonable prices, this is not one to pass by!

Superb place to eat. The spareribs and beef brisket were some of the best i every had - i would rate this above Pappy's for flavor of meats and the hickory BBQ sauce was great - not overwhelming. Try the blackberry cobbler - excellent. Service was fantastic.

This is by far the best BBQ in town which is saying a lot since there are some very good bbq in this town. We are so lucky for that! We have gone to their various locations for the last 30 years. BBQ sauce is great. The onion rings are awesome! I love the seasoning for the fries and rings. Even the ranch dressing is homemade and something I always look forward to.

Happen to need a restaurant when we were not to far from Charlotte's. Very small, family run place, lots of awards for their fare on the walls and shelves. The half rack and a portion of other smoked meat/pork was more than enough for two. We initially thought it was way too much to eat in one sitting, but it was so good and tasty that we ploughed through it all. Of course, it was too much, but what the heck, it was goooood.

Excellent Ribs. best meat quantity on baby back ribs I have ever had. The sauce was great in flavor and taste. I am visiting from out of town and found them late, almost closing, they were very welcoming and gladly offering the complete menu at closing time. Thanks.

Nice little bbq spot. The restaurant was empty when I visited on Friday at 2PM. The waitress was very pleasant. The pulled pork sandwich and fries were excellent. I was pleased to find out they serve Pepsi products. There were trophies and awards for the ribs displayed near the front door. There is a western theme throughout the dining room. Everything was reasonably priced.

Let me just start off by saying WOW! The BBQ was absolutely amazing, the baked beans were some of the best I've ever had, and the Ribs were absolutely the bomb!!! Also, it didn't hurt that there was a tall and handsome head cook named Scott there... he was simply... mouth watering. I will definitely be back, but hopefully I come home with a little bit more then food this time around ;)

I had Charlotte's Rib for lunch yesterday and ordered the 1/2rack spare ribs. These were fall off the bone tender, A+ rating fantastic! The flavor was incredible and their BBQ sauce is the best I've ever had. This is big news since I'm not the biggest BBQ fan. Highly recommended!!!

This is a fantastic BBQ meat. The sauce is good and the service is outstanding. The atmosphere is okay but very clean. I love BBQ and on a scale of 1 through 10 where 5 is average, this ranks 8.5

Been going here since i was a kid! The old location that was near the Lowes store, I lived a few blocks away 30 years ago, would ride my bike to get a large portion of the fries and wind up at the ball park just a block away to catch a few baseball games at least 2x a week. The fries are always my to go to with the bbq sauce. Dont order them thru Doordash becuase when they arrive you get them cold and just doesnt taste the same as freshly out of the fryer with the delicious seasoning

This is one of husband's favorite restaurants and now I know why. The BBQ is delicious. I ordered the smoked chicken, potato salad and green beans. He had the brisket, and 2 sides of their Cole slaw... delicious! This is definitely a hidden gem in Ballwin!

Right now it's some of the best barbecue in St Louis County. We go there every chance we get. The service is great and they're willing to alter the Menu to suit you. And best of all, the prices are reasonable.

Sauces are great. Service is great. Got to meet Charlotte, the granddaughter. We were in town for my daughter's softball game so it's too bad I may never get to eat there again. Hopefully we'll get to come again next year.

I'm very picky about my barbecue but.. Great food, great service, and I LOVEEEE those baby back ribs. I got the meal with the cole slaw and baked beans and they were equally as good. Wish I would've found this place sooner. Their food proves why they've been open for 40 years!
