Bad Bob's BBQ

Haven’t eaten at this BBQ place since I went to Murray State back in the late-80s and early 90s. Different name, but still a BBQ joint in the same location as when I went to school there. Great food and great service. Lots of specials and combo meals with sides and drink. I had the pulled pork sandwich combo special with vinegar slaw on it and hot sauce. Side of curly fries and a drink for less than 10 bucks. Can’t beat that! Enjoy!

Great barbecue, friendly staff, not too pricey. My husband eats lunch here almost every day during the week, it's that good. And they have THE BEST potato salad

I took my sister, Jenny's advice and followed my nose. I could already smell the bbq in the parking lot. Inside smelled so good I ordered a sampler. There was so much food on the sampler, I'll eat 3 more meals. All delicious, but the ribs were my favorite, brisket was close second. The baked potato salad side was just like my grandma made and that's high praise. Super friendly service too.

I've only used drive thru so far. They're pulled pork nachos with "hot" (it's NOT, but very good seasoned!) BBQ sauce & add jalapenos is the BEST 😋

This is the perfect place to eat if you're trying to grab lunch with the guys or if you're fresh out of the gym and starving for all you can eat pulled pork.

They serve great, old fashioned BBQ, and they're upbeat and friendly. Their BBQ is great but their old fashioned, dirt cheap ($3.50 per sandwich at the time of this review), thick sliced fried bologna sandwich is my favorite (ask for cheese on it). Their potato salad is unique in that it has a lot of bacon in it, and it's honestly the best potato salad I've ever had at a restaurant. If you're starving, then they have all you can eat - literally - BBQ and sides for $13. That's the cheapest way I know of to eat your weight in BBQ.

Overall, it's a hidden gem of value for the frugal diner who is craving some good, old fashioned, juicy southern BBQ.

We went at 430pm. I was nervous there was not many cars but this was the best green beans. Moistest pork and the ribs. Holy smokes. Don’t forget the chicken wings 😉

Food was really good, the sides were excellent!

Better since reopening. I've had most everything on the menu and 9 otta 10 times it's perfect. Had a dry baked tader once and lame brisket once. Nobody is perfect so... 5 stars.

BBQ is awesome! We enjoy their BBQ sandwich w/fries. Staff is freindly, dining area and bathrooms are clean. They have several other items on their menu that look good also.

Wonderful little BBQ place. Really loved the Mac n cheese and onion sticks (yes sticks, not rings). The staff was super sweet and friendly. Food was quick but we'll made. I recommend eating here if in town. We weren't from the area and they made us feel welcomed, and also helped us order off the menu. Thanks a lot😁

Best pulled pork around and I've been going here since I was a kid years ago. I just love it

I bought a rack of ribs Monday, Feb 22nd. They were the very best ribs I've ever eaten. They were dry rub and so tender. When it comes to bar b que, Bad Bob's knows their business. Also had baked beans and they are the best. Great job guys!

Hands down some of the best BBQ I have ever tasted. Great sides too. I also like the fact that they have a variety of food options as well.

Best BBQ in Murray and not expensive!

Bad Bob's always has top quality barbecue. It's easily my favorite in Murray, and comes out quickly when ordered. (Well, comes to the counter, at least.) I do have a bit of a problem wherein I always forget just how large a big hawg is - a delicious problem to have, though.

I really like eating here and at the Benton location. I usually always get the chef salad and it's very yummy.

Not even a bbq fan most of the time but YUM and even the Macaroni and Ranch were great —- love it

Best BBQ In town!! Staff courteous and fast price is perfect. No complaints. Thank you
