Always full of happy people and the coffee is really great actually. Tastes like coffee not a gas station oily mix with a rainbow hughe on the top. Clean and sociable place with some art for sale and other nice little things besides the boost. Surprised to see the food options to ne honest. No wonder it's always got a full parking lot...

Love coming here, great coffee and food. Love the atmosphere. Only bad thing is not a ton of seating compared to how many people are always there.

We were looking for a good spot to get a cup of coffee. This was one of the best small town coffee spots close to cherry point area. I got a pumpkin cold brew and did not regret it. If your looking for a good small town coffee with a good selection I highly recommend this place!

Their sandwiches, smoothies, and baked goods are an absolute delight. The sandwiches are crafted with care, using the freshest ingredients, and you can tell that they are made with love. The Daily Refresher is a must try IMO. The smoothies are refreshing for when you need something light and cold. And their baked goods? From flaky homemade pop tarts to decadent pastries to their flavorful scones, everything is baked in-house and you can't help but feel like you're indulging in a little piece of heaven.

But let's not forget the star of the show—their espresso. This coffee shop undoubtedly boasts the best espresso in the area. It always tastes fresh and perfectly pulled. The baristas take their craft seriously, meticulously crafting each cup with precision and care.

What truly sets this coffee shop apart is the sense of community it fosters. It's a gathering spot where people from all walks of life come together. Whether you're catching up with old friends or brainstorming with colleagues, the friendly and welcoming atmosphere makes you feel right at home.

This is my favorite coffee shop ever! It's the perfect place to get some work done, read a book, or grab a drink on the way to the beach. Everything I've ordered has been good, from hot and cold coffees to matcha and teas as well as baked goods. 10/10 LOVE this place

My favorite coffee shop ever! I purposely visit my sister often in North Carolina just to stop here and enjoy my favorite drink (Raspberry Lavender Lemonade; trust me, drink this over the summer and you'll lose it). The staff is incredibly sweet and nice, the food selection and quality is top-notch, and the overall aesthetic of the place gives off a welcoming home-type. If you're ever on this side of town, get you a coffee and pastry here, you won't regret it. Also, try their specials! They change every now and then so make sure to try them before they're gone.

Stable Grounds Coffee is an absolute delight. The staff are always so nice and helpful. The atmosphere is very welcoming and homey. And the coffee, the coffee is terrific. I've only been a few times but I'm pretty sure it's a family run coffee shop and they seem to love what they do. And I'll be damned if they aren't amazing at it. It has become my go to place for coffee.

Awesome coffee shop!! Lots of yummy drinks options plus food and treats. Take it to go, or hang out and play one of the board games. Very charming place.

I come into town to visit family often and am so happy to now have a great local coffee shop to visit. Coffee drinks, hot chocolate, pastries, and even sandwiches we have gotten from here have been great. And this place is super cute and a nice place to hang out while you enjoy your drink!

Great little coffee shop right in the center of town. Coffee is very smooth. My work hours don't allow me to try the breakfast selections, but the couple of times I have had lunch here were amazing. The Thanksgiving dinner in a sandwich was really special...made to order, hot, and full of flavor. Soups have been really good through the winter. Coffee is very smooth. The owner is a very friendly host and visits with customers often. You get treated like family by her and all the folks working there. The atmosphere is very relaxed. You could read a book, check an email, I probably could take a nap! Looking forward to trying a breakfast sandwich soon.

Update: I have been back several times for lunch time work meetings, and the quality of the food and service remains high! Nice quiet place for a quick bite and business discussion. So convenient for me in down town Newport!

This place is awesome! They have a variety of items for everything they have. I usually get a strawberry banana smoothie but add in coconut milk and whipped cream. They're super chill with additional things and the service is amazing. I like to walk here all the time, it's a great communal coffee shop. Their pastries are some of my favorite, especially the rice crispy treats!

This is a super cute little shop with great service. Most importantly, they have oat milk! We stopped after staying the night in nearby Havelock and finding absolutely no good coffee places - this one was worth the short drive. Will definitely stop again if we ever head out to Atlantic Beach again!

Really enjoyed this quaint little coffee shop. I just had a coffee and a cookie, both were very reasonably priced and delicious. I was surprised my coffee was less than $2, very fair. it was quiet and peaceful, lots of neat art for sale, friendly staff and I can't wait to go back again.

It was my first time there. Outstanding service from the staff who were very professional, friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, freshly made to order and many different coffees and teas. The atmosphere is very relaxing and it was very clean.
