For the fact alone that this place has the best steak in town it gets a five star review. It is a bit pricey though. I paid $40 dollars for a 10oz fillet. If you are wanting the best steaks in town you will have to come off your wallet a little bit. Besides that the rest of the menu is pretty well priced. Mixed drinks are $8 dollars and their appetizers are pretty good too. The service was great and it was a pretty relaxed atmosphere. Parking is downtown so you may have to park somewhere and walk to the restaurant but after you leave completely stuffed the little walk back to your vehicle is pretty nice.

Friendly, inviting place. Voted best steak in Mississippi and I believe it. One of the best I've ever had and the price was way better than almost all other good steakhouses I've been. The fried pickles were perfect for me... Great balance of pickle and breading!

Great dinner spot with live music and great food!

We had a lot of appetizers and drinks to share around the table so I went light and got a Caesar salad as my meal. The fried pickles were amazing!! My husbands favorite was the boudin balls and gumbo!

Service was great and accommodated every thing we needed. Not too loud but definitely a lovely place!

Best steak in the area!! Wait staff was great. Would highly recommend anyone to visit and have a steak! Drinks were great too! I had the strip and added shrimp and the shrimp were awesome! My buddy had ribeye and mushrooms and he said it was fabulous! This was my second trip and both times I have eaten here they are spot on!

Sign on the wall when you walk in says voted best steak in Mississippi 2023. Let me tell ya best steak I’ve had in Mississippi and one of the best steaks I’ve had anywhere. Top 3. Great friendly service, will definitely be back.

We came home for the holiday weekend an came across this little gem. This was such a wonderful place to. This was our first time eating it an needless to say it meet more of our expectations than we thought. The staff was friendly an very attentive to us. The atmosphere was wonderful. I had the fried catfish with fries an honey bourbon sweet potato and my husband had the Huck Burger and fires.There was definitely something plenty of food on the plate, more than I could eat. The bread that is served while waiting was very soft an good. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone traveling through Columbus.

Absolutely amazing place to eat. Very nice atmosphere. The food was just delicious. I got the crawfish nachos as a starter and the beef medallions as the meal. Everything was cooked perfectly and very savory.

This dude clearly knows how to produce high end dishes with top quality ingredients in a culturally cool environment for a reasonable price. This is the kind of place the big chains wished they could be but this guy clearly knows how to put his passion into action both uniquely and exceptionally. They have a great beer and liquor selection with friendly bar service. The tamales were outstanding...I think he snuck blue cheese into them which keeps your mind and tastebuds guessing.

Now the main course confounded me. I religiously avoid ordering chicken when I go out unless it’s fried. The chance of an overcooked piece of rubber coming out terrifies me. I went against all of my instincts and ordered the chicken crevette with garlic mashed potatoes. To my astonishment I experienced an event of humbling gratitude to the chef. The chicken was cooked perfectly with some of he most flavorful hollandaise sauce perfectly laid on top. Jump off the beef and fish train and get this chicken!

There is nothing fancy about this place but it’s not down and dirty. It’s a casual environment so no need to dress up. They have happy hour specials and live music on Thursdays.

My one complaint is that they frown on customers napping on the bar after overeating all of the delectable food :)

Had not been here in a couple of years, so glad I made the trip back. Food is delicious, as I remembered.

I'm visiting Columbus for a work trip, I was told Hucks was a nice restaurant and it did not disappoint. I had a baked catfish dish that was excellent. Portions were perfect and service was nice. I would absolutely visit again.

Took my lovely wife for shrimp and grits to celebrate our 28th wedding anniversary. The food is completely worth the wait! Walked the block window shopping, makes the time pass quickly. Beautiful scenery as you see in our photo 😊

Food came out at a reasonable time, servers where nice and polite. The food was good and wasn't over seasoned, two thumbs up.

Very good food, menu changed but still has a few things from past menu, and some new stuff. If you want the cowboy steak just know it's a special it will be pricier, 15 more so $50ish, but still good

Enjoyed my dinner last night. Even though it was crowded the wires did hey best running up and down the stairs. My food came out under cooked but she took care of the situation and brought me a fresh dish. It was delicious. Thank you to our wonderful server.

Redfish Pontchartrain with shrimp and hollandaise was delicious, so was the catfish and white beans. Maple sweet potatoes and turnip greens were tasty, too.

This food is amazing❣❣ Had the parmesan crusted Mahi Mahi..soooo yummy♥
