The best sandwiches anywhere in town (by a wide margin). Burgers, Gyros, EVERYTHING is good here. The Musa family that runs the store are great people as well.

The John sandwich is one of the best I’ve ever eaten. We stopped by in the middle of the afternoon and bought a 9” to have for a picnic around 4:30. It was sliced into 3 sections, and we were only able to eat 2 portions. My husband finished the rest as a nighttime snack. The only way it would have been better was eating it fresh from the store.

Best gyros I have ever had! And the tzatiki sauce is so delicious, you could eat it on anything! Authentic gyros.... an amazing surprise from what looks like just an ordinary gas station on the outside.

The sandwiches and burgers are huge and delicious. My new go-to for sandwiches and burgers. Forget the chain stores. You will not be disappointed.

Best sandwiches in Columbus by far. Love their food, haven't tried the pizza yet but that's next on my list. Nice people own this place. If you haven't tried it yet, you need to.

This spot is a local gem and treasure! The sandwiches are always spot on and delicious and the baklava satisfies my sweet tooth.

I am not a huge sandwich girl, but my husband works in Columbus and brought me home his leftovers to Alabama one day and this is the MOST amazing sandwich I have ever had in my life! Such a treat when he brings me home his leftovers (which, are an entire half of a sandwich- that for me, becomes leftovers as well. The portions are insane! I asked him the price and expected this to be a crazy $13 sandwich. Not the case, but the portion is worth every bit of that). I did go to Columbus and try to find it myself today, and sadly- the gas station across the rd from it said they had never heard of a great sandwich place (haters!) so I didn’t even give the deli a shot. Came home to Google it and I will for sure be going to the correct gas station next time! Five stars!

Hands down one on the best hole in the wall locations in columbus. It may not look like much but holy smokes they can make some food. On top of that all the meat is sliced daily and 100% fresh. Keep up the good work Jon. Love you guys. The Portions of the food is amazing. It may not be the cheapest in town but you will have left overs.

This is truly a Mom n' Pop hole-in-the-wall joint that you only hear about anecdotally. The restaurant is in an older fully functioning gas station, which might sound odd at first, but it actually totally works with the complete experience. The food - my God, the food... The sandwiches here are huuuuge, and most importantly: delicious. The family that own and operate this restaurant are so friendly and welcoming that it feels like you've been coming there for years. If you're ever in Columbus, you need to try this place. Trust me: you'll come back.

The boyfriend and I tried this place yesterday, on a whim. We WILL definitely be back. The food was absolutely AMAZING. I'm from Illinois and a huge fan of Gyros. I have been disappointed about not finding a place (in Mississippi) that's a little close to the gyros I've eaten in Illinois. . until NOW. United Deli does it RIGHT! I'm excited to try more of their food! If you haven't been to United Deli & Grocery yet, you're missing out!!!

Hands down one of my favorite places. Jon (owner) has the best all star class customer service and his food is to die for. Jon's little deli has become a weekly regular for me and our business. Thank you united Deli for everything.

This little hole-in-the-wall is a hidden gem. If you want a phenomenal sandwich, exceptional gyro, or delicious muffuletta you have got to get your tail down here!

This family is hardworking and out their name on the line to get you great food! The secret is in the bread and they're not telling.

And if you're lucky...their little boy will come talk your ear off or play hide and seek.

I love the gyros made with pita bread and real lamb and meat, cucumber sauce ! onions, lettuce, and tomato. PERFECT !! ( and very fattening- LOL). John, the store manager , and his family are wonderful people and make excellent sandwiches !!!!!!!!!

I've done a lot of traveling and would still rate these sandwiches at the top of my list. The bread definitely makes it top notch and they certainly aren't stingy with ingredients. Love, love, love!!!

This place has the best sandwiches in Columbus! Great selection and very generous portions! A 6" sandwich is enough for a meal and part of your next meal.

Awesome food and great owners. It's in a gas station and doesn't look like much but is incredible. The owner even gave us free cookies for our family who was visiting! A hidden gem of Columbus.
