The food is always good. The service is hit and miss, and on my last visit I had to swat flies. I'll give them another chance but if the fly problem persists I will not be back.

First time here. Friendly, professional service. Got the Jumbo Bowl -- cheesy rice, steak strips, chicken, shrimp. Perfectly-spiced and delicious. Red sauce on the enchilada was just OK. Decor is a bit much.

Isidro, the owner, and all the staff, such as Olga and Sebastian, are always very friendly. We are always met with a smile and treated as though we are VIPs. We have tried many dishes and yet to have something that was not delicious.; they have the best Carnitas in town. EL Patron is full of genuinely nice people and Their service is outstanding. They get your order fast and deliver it to you with minimum wait time, without sacrificing quality or taste. We keep going back because the prices are great, the atmosphere is nice, the food is great, and so is the service.

This a great restaurant for you Mexican taste. You will not be disappointed. Food, Adult Beverages, and Great Service is what I look for and this you will find here.

Best fajitas I have had in ages! Definitely going back. The service was good considering they were insanely busy. Our drinks stayed full and the waitress checked on us regularly.

My son and I just ate at this place tonight. Food was really, really good, I had the chicken enchiladas with white cheese over them and no green sauce , no sour cream. Sprite to drink . It in the brickton plaza in Columbus MS. On military rd. Where beans and cream is. Reall good place to eat with your family, nice people running the place , good service. They even have a place for party groups. But the food was good, service good, very nice place. Nice owners . I give them 5 stars . Great menu too.

Very good Mexican food and our server was wonderful. We have tried 2 other Mexican restaurants and they were not great. El Patron is the best in Columbus. We will be back.

Amazing food, super nice wait staff, Martin was our server. Me and my fiancé came during a really not busy hour so our food came out fast and warm. The chicken quesadillas and cheese dip were very delicious !! Will recommend!!

Our family order nachos supreme, chicken fajitas, tamales, enchiladas, tacos, tostada and quesadilla everything was delicious. If we are ever back in the area this will be a stop!! Thank you to the staff for making us feel welcomed and filling our tummy’s with delicious food!!!
