Make sure if you cancel your ins you have a reason they will not give you your full refund. Found way better prices for home owners ins elsewhere. Tabitha who has a review that its so great,works there, she is the one who handled our refund.

Cancel with them before they cancel you! Never had a more horrible experience with an insurance company in my entire life. I had made a claim with Mount Morris in 2005 and it was smooth, comforting and the adjuster was helpful. At Seneca, the claims person "dawn" brought me to tears 5 times during a claims process involving only about $7000. If I new this, I would've NEVER filed a claim. Because I felt I was being treated unjustly, I sought out legal counsel to get advice and as a result, my insurance was CANCELLED on me for "difficult claims experience". The feelings MUTUAL Seneca Sigel. I ended up having to purchase insurance through the state of Wisconsin as I couldn't get insured with that on my records. I am filing a complaint with the Office of the Commissioner of Insurance as I have documentation from start to finish of all the problems I experienced. I cry just thinking about it. I have had natural child birth and that BY FAR was a better experience than dealing with this company for such a small claim.

Please stay away from this company. They won't cover anything. They send their own people out to look at your property, and then say they will insure your home. What they don't mention just last year when they(Bob) the investigator came out is; your shingles are wrong and won't be covered. They tell you everything else you have to change and you do that to be covered, but not something that costs a person a major financial burden. Why? So they can pocket money from you and then when there is a storm that knocks off over 50 percent of the shigles on the house they say it is not covered. I guess time to drop you, talk to an attorney and get the word out to anyone local that uses you to cancel the policy and look elsewhere as you are paying for no coverage at all.

Salesman just pops by to do a home inspection at will. Doesn't keep appointments and I can't even get in touch with their office. Clearly they do not want new business

To top off this wonderful review, I've been told they no longer wish to even look at my home for insurance because their salesman couldn't get in to look at the inside. Of course, he would have if he would have come on one of the days I told him I was available. Apparently Seneca Sigel doesn't like to do what customers want. Seriously the most unprofessional company I've ever dealt with.

This company is terrible. Paramedics had to break into my mothers home to save her life, and they told me there was nothing they could do to help her. Needless to say this policy will not be renewed and I will spread this message everywhere that I can to insure someone elses mother doesn’t have to pay out of pocket to ensure that her house is secure after needing to have paramedics forcefully enter her home to save her life. I’m disgusted.

Pay for insurance but nothing is covered. Amateur staff. And it's funny that all the 5 star ratings are from STAFF not customers.
