El Mezcal Restaurant

Our food was delicious!! I will definitely be back. The staff were not overly friendly, but our orders were correct and the food came out pretty quickly. The chips and salsa was very good and so was my margarita. I had the shrimp enchiladas and there was a lot of shrimp. The sauce was great and the guacamole was excellent. My friend had the fajitas. I tried a little bite and it was also very good. I’m a little sad I hadn’t eaten here sooner.

My now ex-boyfriend recommended we go here, and me not having tried this place before, figured why not.

The salsa here is truly one of a kind. It was absolutely perfect. Without a doubt the best salsa I've ever had. We got a thing of cheese fries to share, and I got some nachos while my ex got a chicken quesadilla. Best nachos I've ever had. The fries were nice and crispy and the cheese sauce was decadent, but not too rich. An absolute must go to place if you're in the area.

We have been going to this place since I can remember, 16+ years. We actually catered our wedding rehearsal dinner from here. The food is delicious, quick and priced well. Our favorites are shrimp a la diablo, fajitas, burritos, and margarita on the rocks. There have been several new Mexican restaurant in rapids in the last few years that I have also tried, but this one is my favorite. The menu and portion sizes are just classic. Their kids menu offers good option too. Staff are quick and friendly.

Best restaurant ever! They build the best relationships with their guests. Always kind and sweet. Their food is always amazing and they're always willing to work with you on what you'd like. Food comes out very speedy. Their establishment is always clean. 1000% recommend.

In Wisconsin Rapids on business, and this looked to be a good dinner choice. It is VERY attractively decorated, and the food is out of this world. Asked for a side of hot sauce for my enchalalatas and I could tell that it had been made in house. The flan that I had for dessert was definitely made there. It was the best flan I have ever had (and I have had flan in Mexico City, Tasco, and Oaxaca.) Exceptionally pleased!!!!

This is probably the best place to eat in Wisconsin Rapids for me and at a very affordable price.
The food is all good and I've never been disappointed service is very good and I've never been disappointed.
If you love Mexican food I insist go there you'll probably like it just like me!

El Mezcal offers a wonderful selection of Mexican entrees. We've been there several times and experienced prompt service, clean conditions, and reasonable prices. We will definitely go back to this establishment in the future.

Service was great and so was the food. If you like hot ask for the spicy salsa when you get your chips and salsa!!! It was sooo good!!!

The service was fast, portions were great, & the food was absolutely delicious. Definitely my new favorite place to eat at!

Generous portions, great food. Love the cheese dip! Our table was a little tight next to a large group. Noisy until they left, but overall highly recommend.

Best Mexican food ever... polite... fast.. hot service... n Margaretas are the bomb mango best.. I get shrimp chimichanga best ever n I get more lg shrimp in the whole chimi than if I where to order a single dinner somewhere else

Had an early dinner, wasn't too crowded. Service was excellent, food was out pretty fast and it was delicious. I'll be back next time I'm in Rapids.

El Mezcal is our 1st choice when dining out, the waiters are always friendly, and the food is the best I've had in this area since we left Milwaukee, especially their bacon cheeseburger. In my opinion the prices are more than fair, but I don't care how much food costs as long as it's a great meal & El Mezcal delivers that every time we go there. Today in fact we are taking our grandson & his girlfriend there for lunch. (ALMOST better than grandma's cooking) Keep up the great work & we'll keep returning.

My favorite restaurant in town hand down! The service is always polite and the food is always consistently amazing! The food also comes out super fast! Great prices too for the quantity of food that you get.

We come here several times a month and the food is consistently good. Try the chicken tropical tacos! Yum. Service is good and efficient but don't expect conversation. :)
