Applebee's Grill + Bar

Admittedly I was quite apprehensive about visiting tonight after reading all the recent poor reviews. Regardless we had gift cards to use up and have no Applebee's in our area anymore.

All in all it was an excellent experience ! Service was outstanding and friendly ! Food was delicious for what I expect from Applebee's ;) The signature bacon Mac and cheese leaves something to be desired though. We had mozzarella sticks and pretzels with beer cheese dip for appetizers, they were hot and tasty ! The wife ordered the 8oz sirloin and I ordered the Parmesan Steak and shrimp. Everything was cooked to order, and had great flavor ! I would definitely return more often if it were closer to us !

Service was slow and there were screaming kids but overall it has a nice vibe for young adults to hang out and good food and drinks to go with it.

Any time I ever go to Applebee’s for supper the staff is always so nice and welcoming. They check on you often, but not too often, and the manager, Jessica, is one of the nicest I have met in the hospitality industry. I did that job for a living and I know how tough it can be to keep a smile and continue be nice over time, so great job to all the staff there, they’re amazing! We will definitely be back!

This dining experience was absolutely phenomenal! Our server gave us the greatest experience and accommodated to all of our needs. She definitely knows what she's doing! Best server we've had here in a long time!

I really enjoyed my dinner last night. My Aunt anf I started with the artichoke dip and continued with fiesta lime chicken and finished withe delictible maple blondie a la mode. Our waitress Mayta wa top notch on on her A game! Ovetall, a fantastic experiance!!

Good food, complete menu. Love the 2 dinners for $20 or $25. A good 6 oz. Steak with 2 sides and appetizers. Nice relaxing atmosphere.

Oooh you guys did great. The bourbon street steak was cooked perfectly and the French onion soup was divine. You did such a great job packing it all up, my soup didn't even spill when it tipped over. The next time I got the same steak it was all gristle and my dog got to eat it. What happened? Thanks.

Went there for lunch and tried their Tex Mex bowl grilled chicken. Pretty tasty and not as spicy as I thought it would be. Great lime and cilantro flavor. And surprisingly, chicken portion was a lot. Recommend for you to try it. They also have it with Shrimp instead of chicken . I give it a thumbs up 👍.

Excellent service and delicious variety of food.

My fiancee and I came here for our anniversary. Had a great time, the food was great, came fast, and just as ordered. My steak was medium rare and tender the extra shrimp for a dollar was a steal and my fiancees chicken almost smelled better then my steak. Our waitress katherine made sure we had everything we needed, she never left us hanging. Every thing you hope for when you go to a restaurant.

We had a great experience at this Applebees. Service and food was excellent. Thought, I did notice our booth had some rips and was not the most comfortable.

Went for lunch with a friend. We sat at the bar and both ordered a cocktail. I took advantage of the $1.00 vodka cranberry special. It was delicious. We also both ordered the lunch combo specials, and they were the perfect amount of food for a great price! The bartender was friendly and service was fast.

Quick, friendly & efficient service on a Tuesday afternoon. Food was excellent & the 2 for $20 or 2 for $30 menus provide a nice variety. Either choice is a good deal! Enjoy!

Service was awesome, just did the 3 course deal they have going. Our first course which was a salad came within 5 minutes of ordering. The rest of the courses came shortly after. The waiter was very polite, took the other plates put of our way for the new food ect.. it was awesome!

This is hands down the best Applebees I have ever been to. Our server was great. It took 10 minutes to get the steaks we ordered and managment was apologizing for taking so long. If this was too long, I think several other restaurants need to take lessons from this one. Food was great, never had to ask for a refill, it was there when you were ready for it! A+ in my books, Keep it up.

Had a get together with friends and was very nice

We just moved to Wisconsin Rapids and after reading all the negative Google reviews we were a little hesitant to try the Applebee's here in town, but after some debate we decided we would have to go and see for ourselves. Good thing we did! We were seated right away. Our waiter, Chee, came to the table within a minute or so after opening our menus. Our drinks and appetizers came out quickly. Chee was awesome, he even helped me decide between 2 menu choices I was considering and he was right. The 4 cheese Macaroni and chicken tenders was so good and my husband loved the steak he got. He is very particular on his steak and the way it's cooked and he was satisfied so that alone deserves a 5 star. I don't know what all the critical reviews are about but there definitely seems to be a discrepancy in the service we got tonight (on a Saturday nonetheless) and the poor experience others have had. We will definitely be coming back to this Applebee's in the future.
