Carota's Pizza

The food is great! The staff is very friendly. I got a small veggie pizza and a sweet tea. I might go through sweet tea withdrawals later on. It's a neat little place with great outdoor dining in the middle of a beautiful little town. Right around the corner from Rosemary Clooney's house and the riverfront.

Excellent food, excellent service, excellent atmosphere. If you're looking for that small town pizzeria experience where you're treated like extended family then this is your place. Conveniently located a few miles off the AA highway in picturesque Augusta.

Busy at 2:00 on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. Loaded fries were great! We got a 12" meat lovers pizza to share for 2 people and left with some slices in a to go box. Crust was crispy and of a good texture. The pizza sauce was very tasty! I'll be back to this local favorite spot during my next trip to Augusta.

The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious! Enjoyed their outside patio. Most notably was that, when my purse was turned in, a worker walked two or three blocks looking for me to return it to me! I greatly appreciated that effort which was far beyond the call of duty! Thank you!!!!

Just a local gem! My husband and I ate here last weekend when we couldn’t get reservations at the beehive tavern. The food was really good, and I love family owned restaurants. It’s an older establishment, but that’s just part of its charm. Make sure you order ice cream before you leave!

Super nice hole in the wall. We ate here by accident because the Bee Hive is now by reservation only. But this place was great. I had the fish hoagie and my wife had the chili spaghetti. Both were VERY GOOD!! We also had the Mozzarella Sticks for an appetizer. They were the best we’ve ever had. Service was great!! For a standard pizza place it was a nice treat and far exceeded our expectations. Looking forward to eating here again in the future. Too bad we live in NKY or we would come here regularly.

Just a little hometown pizza place. The pizza was so good. Actually getting them to cater a “late night snack” at our wedding that is in Augusta as well!

On a Saturday afternoon, my husband & myself along with our 4 year old took a drive from Florence, KY to Augusta. We stopped at Carota's for lunch and we were not disappointed. The staff was so very welcoming and even gave my 4yr old a couple of quarters for the gumball machine. The pizza was delicious we had sausage. The ingredients were really fresh. Our little one had the cheeseburger and fries and it was the best I've tasted in a long time. This is the exact kind of restaurant I wish we had in our neighborhood. Will definitely make another trip to August for Carota's.

Traveled to Augusta today on July 4th. Found this little place to be one of the best small town restaurants I've visited so far. The staff were very nice and the food was perfect! Thanks Carota's!

Friendly staff and the meat toppers pizza was fantastic. Homemade crust is delicious.

First visit ever! No wait to order at 1 pm. Order a very tatey Steak Hoagy with Mushroom sauce, cheese and pickles. Very satisfying. I sat by the river a short walk away and enjoyed my lunch.

This place is very special to us! Almost 20 years ago we got engaged here in Augusta on the river and celebrated at Carota's by the bay window seat. After our daughter was born we began bringing her and now it's tradition. Food is so good! We love it here!

Carota's makes great pizza. They have a really delicious sauce. And they're pretty consistent. You can get cheaper pizza in the area, but not better pizza. Suggest, particularly if you order several toppings, to ask for it to be well done. For whatever reason, the dough usually needs to be cooked a touch longer or it's gooey. If you're not in the mood for pizza, the Baked Carota sandwich is extremely good. They are a little heavy on the mayo with it, but let's be honest, you can't expect to lose weight by eating at a small town pizza joint. Nice people work there and they really care about their product and their customers' experiences.

They were REALLY busy for a Sunday night, but with pizza this tasty, I see why.

There was a wait, but I think that's because we all arrived at the same time. But once the orders were in, the food came out quickly.

Pizza was a bit saucier than I am used to, but the toppings were fresh and the crust was tasty. I'd definitely come back.

Best cheese sticks in ky. And for a pizza place there cheeseburger are awesome I eat there 2 or more times a month there service is great fast and there’s no better.

I love how the pizzas are homemade. My family always goes here every year and sometimes eats the pizza. It’s very fancy and has the sunlight with flowers and good environment. I love seeing people walk in everytime I come to eat and enjoy.The food is very good, I love eating here.
