Mattress Firm Tanglewood Pavilions

We had the best experience purchasing a bed from Mattress Firm in Elizabeth City, NC on 3-13-24. I called the afternoon prior to ask a couple of questions, which were answered in the most professional, polite manner. After ending the call, I told my family, "That was the nicest young man I just spoke with! His name is Raymond, I defiantly want to go to that store tomorrow based solely on the excellent customer service I just received on the phone!"
Good customer service is hard to find these days, but this young man was awesome! The next day, we walked into the store at Tanglewood and were greeted & welcomed by a very kind young man. I knew as soon as he greeted us, this was the same man I had spoken with on the phone. I said, "your name is Raymond, isn't it?" He acknowledged that it was, and I thanked him for the excellent customer service the evening before. He helped us navigate the process of choosing and purchasing a king size mattress and platform bed frame with the same professionalism and kindness I had received over the phone. I told him his customer service is what drew us to his place of business. We certainly had other options but are so pleased we had the pleasure of meeting and doing business with Raymond!
The world would be a much better place with more people like him!

Let's be honest, one *wants* to go mattress shopping. In fact, we waited until it was absolutely necessary because the thought of painstakingly choosing a new bed made us both cringe. We figured we would pop in to Mattress Firm to at least get an idea of what we wanted. They're one of the only retailers that carry the Purple mattress to try out. Come to find out, it wasn't worth the hype for us.
We were promptly greeted by the sweetest sales person I have ever met. Addy was an absolute joy to work with. I will leave an establishment quickly if a sales rep is too pushy. She was the complete opposite. She was patient, kind, and answered all of our questions intelligently. Addy actually listened to what we were saying and helped us find exactly what we needed. She made the difference in us purchasing a mattress yesterday as we were pretty dead set on ordering online. I'm not sure if she is commission based or not, but the girl deserves a raise or at the very least a pizza.

I visited the store twice because I wanted to take my time picking out a mattress. Both times the staff were extremely helpful. They allowed me to take my time & answered all my questions. I worked with the Manager Mr.Brothers & assistant manager Keith who were both very knowledgeable about all the products. They were friendly & polite & asked me the right questions to get the best mattress for my need. Will definitely refer others & if ever need another mattress will return.

My husband and I had such a great experience working with Keith and Addy. It was our first time buying a mattress and they made us feel so comfortable (pun intended). We highly recommend them! Outstanding customer service AND definitely certified sleep experts!

I recently did an exchange of a mattress because the 1st one was a little firm for my liking. Addy was very accommodating and helpful with completing the transaction. She has excellent customer service and explained everything satisfactorily which is rare in retail. If you are looking for a new mattress, this is the place to go and Addy and the store manger, Raymond are the people to see!

We had an excellent experience today. Kayla was extremely knowledgeable and personable. I can’t say enough good things about her and how much she helped us today. Mattress Firm is very lucky to have her.

Our salesman was as professional and personal as one can be. He showed and explained each and every mattress in the store . Glad to be able to walk in without being pressured and since I’m the type of person that like to see and touch what I am purchasing, it’s good to have a store and not have to go online. Thank you

I appreciate the personal experience I received from mattress firm today. I have been there many times and I could always tell it would be the right place to purchase a new bed. I just wish I could have it delivered to my new house on my moving day. Oh well. Thanks again for your knowledge and ability to help me purchase the right bed for me.

Raymond Brothers did an excellent job with my husband and I when we were looking for a mattress set for our guest bedroom. He was patient, informative and he listen to our wants and needs. He then gave us suggestions on what we were looking for. His manner made us feel very relaxed and comfortable. I believe in great Customer service and Raymond Brothers met all our expectations! If you go to Mattress Firm ask for Raymond Brothers, I believe he also works at the beach location as well.

Salesman gave us the privacy to shop as we wanted. When we had questions, he was readily available to give the information. When we decided on our purchase, he was most helpful in completing the transaction, confirming with me the exact things I wanted. We are getting free delivery, the date of delivery, etc. Easiest purchase ever. Highly recommend.

Found me what I needed for the price. I was willing to pay and they were super nice to be with. I will gladly buy all my mattresses and beds from there.

Very good store nice inside lots of beds set up. I went there to and bought a memory foam mattress 10" to sleep on nightly.

Raymond was extremely helpful, informative and patient. He showed us beds in every price range and we chose the perfect one. Very happy with our experience.

I have bought several mattress from here. Each time I've received excellent customer service. Thats why i always come back! This time i came in looking to replace the same type mattess i bought before since i gave mine away & really wanted it back lol so they looked up what i purchased before & guided me to the same type mattress. Took 5 mins to buy a new mattress with confidence. Cant wait for it to arrive so i can enjoy sleeping again!

We actually stopped by heading to tropical smoothie, and saw mattress firm, my wife and I had been talking about getting a new mattress for a while now. An hour later, the whole family was getting new ones! The buying experience was great. Keith was very attentive and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!
