Van's Pizza House

The food was good and hot and the service we got was even better. The waitress was very attentive and prompt and answered all our questions with a smile. Another local restaurant worth trying.

Top of the pizza food chain here in Elizabeth City. Gyros are made with Lamb, and Americans make it with the other meets. I love original stuff with original flavors with original seasonings. A good Greek sandwich has Greek parts. Lamb, taziki sauce, lettuce, fresh veggies. Pizza with Italian seasonings, I don't wanna hear go back to Greece or Italy. German food has German taste. Afghanistan food with the taste of homeland. I salute you. Fantastic job.

This is the most unsuspecting Italian place that I have ever been to! The outside and inside appearance let you know that you’re going to have a good meal, but I ate a GREAT meal. The pricing is more than fair for the portions you receive (my pasta lasted for two meals $12/2 = $6). I will be back the next time I am in the area!

This place is delicious the pizza is good the appetizer we got IS AMAZING (spanakopita) and it's so clean and despite being packed service was really quick

It's very odd how literally everyone turns around and stares at you when you enter the door. We were told that they don't take kindly to strangers 😕. We live here. I'd never eat inside.

Came back to visit my hometown in May and got to try this place out for the first time. Very impressed with the food. Got the Alfredo pasta meal along with a pepperoni pizza. Food was top notch; great portion sizes and tasted amazing. The batch of garlic knots was really good as well. If you want a fulfilling Italian meal in E City, this is the place to go! I certainly know where I'm stopping to grab food next time I'm in town.

We passed Van's so many times. My husband was in the mood for good pizza. We are from NY so good pizza is easy to find. We were not disappointed. I got the Gluten-free pizza and Arcadian salad. My husband got the Hawaiian pizza. Oh my goodness. I could have eaten my whole pizza in one setting. It was even good the next day heated in the microwave. Brian was awesome. We will be going back. Even the customers were friendly and very nice to us.

Vans is my go-to in Elizabeth City. Been going there for years and it is my comfort food. I always get the vans special sub with ham turkey and roast beef. Wife loves the salads and pizza.

Moving back to the area, going to Van's brings back memories of when I was a little girl. We always stopped here at least once or twice a month. There's just something about Van's pizza crust that is special and some of his toppings just taste so much better. Now, the wings are really, really tasty too. The Jamaican Jerk rub is quite unusual, but it's awesome. The Honey Garlic is delicious, but better on the boneless. They make a great appetizer before that delicious pizza! 🍕 😋

Tonight's dinner was scrumptious! Our server was excellent. The people at a table beside us had a woman who complained so much that they got a free meal. She actually embarrassed her family who were enjoying their meal and had to get it boxed up to go because she made them leave. It's a shame that one person can ruin a meal for her family. Van's always take care of their patrons and do their best to please them.

Great place to have our small class reunion! Carla, our server was fantastic! Pleasant, quick and very patient with all of us! Food was delicious as always!
