I enjoyed my stay here. Excellent customer service,quiet and peaceful..other than the train every now and again. They went above and beyond to make sure we were accommodated. I recommend staying here if your visiting, it's convenient to downtown.

Easy check in, easy check out! Front desk worker, Gloria, was very hard working, helpful, and kind! Rooms were clean and overall, we had a nice stay here.

When we checked in the desk clerk was clearly very busy. It was a sold out night from what I understand and Rodney was the most efficient, professional, pleasant person you could ask for. He was answering the phone while trying to help a guest with a television and also check me in at the same time. He never got flustered nor frustrated. He remained professional and dedicated the entire time. You can really tell he cares about his job, his property, and his guests. Just a wonderful experience overall. I even saw him folding sheets when we went out and came back. What an exemplary employee. He should most definitely be commended for his hard work, dedication, and commitment to ensuring each guest is taken care of. Also when I got ready to check out the room attendants were very pleasant and kind. Ms Gloria was there in the morning when we left and she was also very kind, professional, and efficient. If that was not enough the room was extremely clean. It put my mind at ease about venturing out with my family during these times. My family and I will absolutely be back and we will guests for life. Thank you for making our stay wonderful!

What a wonderful surprise!! This place was so so so so clean!! The rooms were extremely comfortable and quiet even though it is located close to a railroad. During our two night stay we engaged with four of the staff members. They were all exceptionally friendly, kind and helpful! It was in close proximity to places to eat, sites to see and most importantly for us, walking distance to William-Brice Stadium. We highly recommend these accommodations and if ever in the area again, we would love to stay here and hopefully visit with our new friends on staff. Gig 'Em! 👍🏻

My friend and I stayed here for one night for the Beyonce concert. We arrived early and they accommodated us an hour before check in. All staff we interacted with were so friendly and polite. Housekeeping asked if our room was fine and comfortable. Being in the service/sales industry and going to many hotels per month I was pleasantly surprised that this was the friendliest and most customer service oriented staff I’ve come across. Room was very clean and comfortable. Would recommend.

This is a nice straightforward hotel. It doesn't have a lot of frills. My room faced a railroad track and I didn't hear a thing. For an added touch they left earplugs! The breakfast was okay. The best part of the stay was Miss Jeane. She is amazing. She was so kind with my daughter upon check in and check out. She is a gem.

After failing staying at an airbnb ( First time I had someone that bad and I use it a lot...) This Hotel saved my birthday weekend. The best part was the ladies working there. They are friendly, and the breakfast really good. I hope it had a bigger area for breakfast, but since it was not as busy at time, we were fine.

Clean. Quiet. Not far from downtown. Big parking (on front and back of hotel).All great!

The place looks like it needs updated on the outside the front lobby needs updated the breakfast in the am was decent staff was very friendly the rooms where exceptionally clean and well maintained and the bathroom was very nice as well the rooms were exceptional compared to the outside and the neighborhood I was extremely impressed would stay again without hesitation

Clean room, better than sleeping in the rain, reasonable price, pending on which girl runs the lobby desk, shower stall had only one pane of glass, a little bit dangerous, if you don't step on the bathmat.

Truly enjoyed our 2-day stay because the staff was phenomenal, especially Jeane!! She was so accommodating and friendly, great tips and conversations over a delicious breakfast. Clean, comfortable room, friendly housekeeping, awesome front desk staff. Will stay here again next time in Columbia!

best hotel stay i have had in a long time staff was amazing everyone greeted me everytime they saw me breakfast was good yes there is a train track next to the hotel but come on there are trains everywhere i recommend this hotel if you are in the downtown columbia area

The hotel room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. I would only suggest that they purchase some better soap for the bathroom. If you're looking for an affordable stay near downtown Columbia, this a good option.

Polite employees and management. Wonderful rooms with the most comfortable beds and pillows! Housekeeping handwritten a sweet note on side table along with ear plugs(train) and a humorous joke card. I will definitely stay there again! A++

We had an excellent stay. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. We did not hear the train. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast could have been a little better but for the price we paid we were very satisfied.

We had a really good experience staying at this hotel. The lady at the front desk by the name of "Jeane Scales" needs an award for excellence in customer service. She was so friendly and helpful with all of our concerns at this hotel. She is the reason we would stay here again! Such a nice and pleasant lady!😊

I needed a room last minute, priceline screwed my prior reservations with Gallus. The manager stepped in and fully accommodated me with an upgrade for a lesser price than priceline. Very clean, genuine and friendly staff, from the manager, front desk to housekeeping. I loved my stay. Will be returning and referring

I enjoyed staying here. I stayed in a few different rooms here while transferring for work. I only actually heard the train 1 night out of about 30..

So besides the train it's pretty quiet.
Close to town to walk and grab dinner or just a very short drive!

My children, a friend and I chose this hotel to stay at during the Banzaicon convention over the weekend. A lot of people from the convention recommended other hotels because they're closer but I couldn't afford them so I took the hotel down the street (Gallus). I have to say that it was worth the drive because when we arrived (at least 3 hours early), the staff was polite, friendly, and accommodating. The hotel's interior design was a surprise and my kids loved the zigzag 2nd floor, flooring pattern. I walked in my room(s), I LOVE the bathroom decor, the vanity light/mirror. The pictures online didn't do it justice. There are little things you don't think about when entering a hotel room, but Gallus has it. The hangers with the pants clips, the outlets that make it easy for you to charge up, the ear plugs to silence the noise of the night, plenty of towels for any number of guests, its all here. The layout and design of the room makes the temporary move in easy and comfortable. they have a place for my laptop, a place for snacks/ drinks, plenty of storage with curtains to hide away eye sores. Ive worked at a hotel but during my stay I didn't feel as though I was staying in a hotel, I felt I was staying in a retreat. Also, the train went by one time, we were still awake. I didn't hear anything after I went to sleep. I went to sleep at 11 pm and woke up at 5:30 completely recharged. ONLY complaint, is my stay wasn't long enough.
