Holiday Inn Express & Suites Newport South, an IHG Hotel

Absolutely loved this place for their no pet policy. Being highly allergic and also hating animal smells and pet hair, we were thrilled to find a hotel that does NOT allow pets! Plus, check-in was about 2 minutes tops. Fast and efficient with a very polite man. Clean rooms that actually smelled clean. Breakfast was hot and had several items. I would go back here anytime we are in the area.

Is in a great location if you're looking to get back on the road, or looking to stay in the area with plenty of food options.

We had previously booked at another hotel that turned out to be a nightmare. We drove here desperate to find somewhere to stay. We finally arrived here and was greeted by the sweetest lady. She gave us a great deal, gave our two little kids a free snack and made us feel so welcome. Our room was so nice, clean and comfortable. We stayed on the 5th floor and could tell it was newly remodeled. The breakfast was definitely yummy. Thank you for the turkey sausage option, as we don't eat pork. The day we checked out, David was there. He was also very sweet to us and our children. We will definitely be back next time we come to this area. Thank you for making our little overnight trip so much better.

The lady who checked me in in the evening is one of the nicest people that I have met in a while and I love how friendly she is and how she remembers me I think she is amazing and every place needs someone like her...

Newly redecorated and they did a great job. Room as clean, comfy and safe.
The only issue we had was an accidental overcharge of $190. Not a big deal but it took five phone calls and four days to get them to reverse the charges.

Our family experienced a death in the family and me and my husband
had to drive 4hr to Tennessee from NC for the funeral. Needless to say, it was unexpected but the newport TN holiday Inn housed us at a great price and for 2 nights so that we could spend time with the family before having to head back home. The place was very clean, the front desk clerks were very friendly and the rooms were quite nice. Definitely a stay again place.

Great hotel. It was the midway point between Cincinnati and Savannah. Clean rooms with comfy beds. Very friendly and helpful front desk staff. They were in the middle of renovations to the hotel but it was still very quiet. Great breakfast buffet. But I missed the pancake maker I saw in other photos. I was really looking forward to pancakes. Those little cheese omelets were on point. We definitely stay here again.

We were very impressed with our stay! The room was very nice and well-kept. It's also impressive that every room has a Keurig and my wife loved the new Dove shampoo/conditioner and soap in the shower! The breakfast had a wide variety and it's also great that they're running well during a $2 million renovation! We highly recommend Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Newport, Tennessee!

Very clean, rooms very nice and staff extremely helpful as well as friendly.

I was very Impressed how clean the hotel was! My room was spotless. Bed was firm and pillows were comfortable. Not to firm but not to soft. TV was clear, not sure if it was HD but not fuzzy like a lot of hotels are. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good also. Thank you to the staff your hard work is appreciated!

The best hotel I’ve stayed in in awhile! Room was superb & the best part is they have full bottles of Dove shampoo, conditioner & body wash in the shower. How cool is that!😄 The staff were super nice. I would highly recommend this hotel. Great place if you’re on a budget like most and want a nice place to stay..

Great place for families! I'm not a fan of hotels, but this one had lots of positives. For one, the customer service was great. They have an indoor pool, although it's small and limited in capacity. However indoors means year round and all weather, so it worked for us! The room and bathroom was super clean and comfortable. Lots of nice touches to make it feel like you spent more money than you really did. The breakfast was very well stocked and included a variety of items. My only wish was that they offered fresh fruit and V8 juice. There weren't a whole lot of healthy choices other than the veggie omlet and regular oatmeal. The breakfast included saved us money and time. They were super friendly and accommodating!

We had a great stay while on our journey from Philadelphia to Pigeon Forge. This hotel was the perfect location, about a half an hour away, from the traffic and craziness of downtown Pigeon Forge. There were places to eat, shop and everything we needed. Perfectly located right off the major highway. We ate one night at Crackle Barrel - was delicious, ate at Waffle House (free breakfast but we wanted more), was delicious. The 2 night stay was simply perfect. Best of all on our way back from Pigeon Forge we pass Tennessee Legend so we stopped twice to get some Hammershine! The staff were friendly, room was perfect, breakfast was good. We loved just hanging out by the car watching all the nature surrounding the area. Thanks guys for a great stay!!! Would recommend you in a heartbeat.

I had to come here due to a death in the family and had booked a room at another hotel because I didn't know how long I would have to stay, the other place lost my reservation and was just simply awful. I came to Hampton inn they gave me a room and good rate at the last minute. I stayed right at two weeks. The price was great, the breakfast was great, the rooms were very nice and the staff was exceptional. I will recommend and always stay here myself. Thank you so much for making a tough time so easy.

We were so impressed with this hotel. The beds were so comfortable and the pillows were amazing. I asked the front desk if there was a way to order the pillows. Clean, very nice & friendly employees. The free breakfast is really nice. Best hotel we stayed at on our vacation.

Our travel home from vacation was longer than we intended. The staff were extremely friendly. I had concerns after reading the reviews but the room my family stayed in was nice.

Wonderful room and service. Very spacious and clean. The breakfast was great as well and housekeeping left a nice note saying “happy new year.“ They go the extra mile to make the stay nice. The only thing I would change is that they left no K cups in the room for the Keurig.
