This was a gorgeous, peaceful place to stay. The views of the river are so breathtaking, and there’s plenty of places to sit and quietly enjoy the views. The apartment was clean, quiet, and fully stocked. Plus, the staff was so sweet and helpful. I can’t recommend this place enough! Trust me when I say pictures don’t do it justice!

Great place!! Apartment is comfortable, clean and free of bugs. Cindy is very welcoming and a very sweet person. Her right hand Jason is a very friendly and helpful taking care of property and offering to make a fire by the riverside. Very good find recommend to anyone looking to relax!! Has full kitchen with all amenities.

The Ohio River house has the best view, and largest area to enjoy of waterfront property at a guesthouse in this area.The stay is peaceful, quiet, private, and the views are absolutely gorgeous. I found my space clean, well kept, renovated, and comfortable.

I was there on holiday, but The River House would be a great place to attend or give a workshop for writers, painters, authors, designers, musicians, cooking classes, etc. There are generous amounts of space for gatherings, weddings, celebrations, photo sessions. Very impressive property. I'll be back.

Super clean, friendly people, gorgeous view! Loved everything, even found a cat and a dog to pet outside :) Hop over to Augusta for good eats and a historic walking tour

I had the privilege of spending several months at The Ohio River House while I was in the local area working on a project. I found that my apartment was very clean, well kept, and had a fully stocked kitchen. The staff there are very attentive and go out of their way to ensure your comfort. The entertainment was really something as well. We would sit outside with a fantastic view of the Ohio River talking and having a really nice time. I have future projects coming up and I am really looking forward to my next stay. Thank you ORH for a fantastic stay.

City in Kentucky

Augusta is a home rule-class city in Bracken County, Kentucky, in the United States. It is located upon the southern bank of the Ohio River. As of the 2020 census, the city population was 1,096. When Bracken County was organized in 1796, Augusta was the county seat. In 1839, a new county courthouse was built at a more central location in Brooksville. The city was formally incorporated by the state assembly in 1850. source
