Sweet GG's Bakery

So glad we found this wonderful bakery in 5 points! The owner was very friendly and helpful. We bought red velvet cupcakes, key lime cake slice, and Kentucky Butter Pound cake slice. Everything was absolutely delicious! Definitely 5 ⭐ I highly recommend!

Today me and my boyfriend stopped at sweet gg’s. The minute we walked in, she greeted us and ,told us to ask her if we had any questions. I was a little disappointed because ,I didn’t see any bars but I will definitely be back !

Black-owned hidden gem! The cakes are fresh and delicious. You can tell that they are made fresh with the best ingredients. It is refreshing to taste desserts that feel like home. We tried the cookies and cupcakes. The red velvet was my favorite 😍.

This place is next door to another dessert place that specializes in cookies. I am so glad we chose this one. The cookies were slamming, too!

The service was excellent. The bakery is clean and organized. We were given details about their assortment of desserts. They had puddings, cakes, cookies, and everything! It's located near plenty of shopping and has easy access with metered parking right in front. The parking is cheap. One quarter allowed for 20 minutes of browsing.

We were visiting the area and glad we made the stop. Nayo, the owner and baker, greeted us and thanked us for coming. We will visit again for sure!

Delicious!!! You have to try the red velvet cake and the French vanilla pound cake! MOOOOOOIST! The BIG triple chocolate cookie may just be better than Otis Spunk Meyer! Soft & delicious! Definitely going back and IS definitely my go to bakery especially for a moist sliced red velvet cake! Can we get some red velvet that has nuts on it?

The moistest cakes we’ve ever tried!

This adorable bakery has the yummiest creations. My stepdaughter is an expert cupcake taster & she said the Pecan Red Velvet Cupcake was the most moist she’s ever tried. We loved the Kentucky Butter Pound Cake & regular Red Velvet Cupcake. Really cute shop in Five Points with nice, helpful employees. Do yourself a favor & treat yourself to a delicious baked goodie here!

FLAVOR. The owner is all about flavor. You will not find the ordinary everyday kind of topping for the cakes. cupcakes and cookies. I purchased the red velvet cupcakes with pecan topping. She said the red velvet cake was a HOT seller. (samples of chocolate chip cookies were available) The Shop is easy to find, spacious, beautifully decorated and cozy. You can dine in or take-out. Located in Five Points, parking spots are in front of the building.

The chocolate cupcake with chocolate frosting is the best cupcake I’ve ever had! Moist, flavorful, and actually tastes like something besides sugar (a lot of bakeries in Columbia should take notes). Anytime I need a baked good or cake, I’ll go to Sweet GG’s.

Not a big sweet eater but I stopped by the establishment after my Saturday run. The establishment was very nicely decorated. The staff was very kind & cheerful. And the cupcakes: my gosh. I thought they had some elderly lady making them in the back. Noooo … the owners were the creators of the goodness.

The dessert was fresh, soft and tasty. This place is a keeper in the state of South Carolina.

The desserts are amazing. I have enjoyed everything I have ever bought from them. My family has also had a baby shower cake and 2 birthday cakes from Sweet GG's. They were delicious works of art.

Best blonde brownie ever ! Come with nuts or no nuts. I've tried her cookies, cupcakes. All amazingly delicious. Black owned and operated, what's not to love!

Came in from out of town didn’t want to just every day store dessert for a dinner with some friends this place did not disappoint
The women behind the counter was super and so helpful and was super patient with me and not knowing what I wanted she gave us tons of information on all the things they had will definitely be back when we in town again

I'm not a big cake eater but let me tell you something EVERY cake I get from here is ALWAYS thee best like I can't stress it enough lol. The designs are always done so well which is just a plus because the cake itself is actually delicious. I've gotten cupcakes and cookies made as well all perfectly made and decorated. I even had a cake made with fresh flowers decorated into it like that was so awesome lol. Now that I'm getting married the bakery will absolutely be preparing my wedding cake I wouldn't have it any other way 🙌🏽.

Sweet GG Bakery made our daughter’s sweet sixteen cake. She paid attention to every detail and the cake was delicious. Her cake was one of the night’s highlights. Extremely professional and friendly! A cake made with love! We will definitely use GG Bakery again!

The cake here is so delicious. We got a slice of key lime and a slice of 5 flavors cakes and they are both absolutely delicious. The owner is also very nice and the shop is clean and welcoming. We will be back for sure!

The staff was warm and friendly when I walked in and service was great! Will be back for cinnamon rolls!

Stopped here to grab some cupcakes for my sons birthday yesterday and we were not disappointed!! As soon as you walk in the shop it smells sooooo good like a freshly baked cake🥰 The staff was helpful and very friendly! We ended up getting 6 cupcakes and they were all delicious, but that banana pudding cupcake!!!!!! It was absolutely perfect not too sweet and tasted just like banana pudding! We will definitely be going back and reccomending to friends!

Amazing customer service! Beautiful Bakery ! Even better sweets ! I walked into Sweet GG’s Bakery and was graciously greeted by owners Mr. and Mrs. Harvin ! I ended up opting into the cheesecake bowl, red velvet cake and cookie butter pie ! So far I’ve tried the cheesecake bowl and OMG ! It is delicious!!!! I will be returning soon, probably tomorrow ☺
