My goodness, what a win this cake was. I ordered a Vanilla Buttercream Vanilla cake for my wife's birthday party and it was outstanding.

We got the 12" for about 20 guests and that seemed about right. We had a bit left over but we're not complaining!

Everyone at the bakery was kind, concise and willing to help plus the cake was absolutely delicious.

I will certainly be ordering from here again and for future events.

(PS they're often downtown at Soda City on Saturdays which is where I first tried their cakes. The carrot cake was stellar!)

Ally and Eloise did the wedding cake for our wedding and we were blown away!!! It was not only incredibly delicious, but also absolutely gorgeous! We appreciate as well how they listened to our vision for the cake itself and were so excited to see this become a reality. We have since returned to visit them many times and have not a had a single thing from their bakeshop we haven't loved!

Ally and Eloise did a phenomenal job in such short notice!! Their customer service and communication is like no other. They allowed the process of purchasing my daughters 1st birthday cake to be stress free. We also purchased cheesecake bars, brownie bars, lemon bars, cupcakes, and I believe it’s called the crazy bar. The quality and taste of everything was superb. We’ll definitely be purchasing our oldest daughters cake from Ally and Eloise as well!!

They did an amazing job on our daughter's 1st birthday cake. We went with a coconut flavor.

Start off with great customer service experience. Yummy treats bakery cookies cakes doughnuts coffee tea you name it. Personalized cakes can be pricey but definitely worth it it’s exactly what you ask for they contact you when ready for pick up and fast I got my 30th birthday cake there and absolutely loved it!!!

I needed a last minute simple, naked smash cake for my one year olds photo shoot and they came through! It was delicious as well (myy one year old wasn't into smashing so this mama got to eat some). Will definitely utilize their shop in the future, hopefully with more notice.

We hired Aleka to make my daughter’s wedding cake. She was amazing to work with! The cake was gorgeous and that bow!!! 😍😍😍😍 Oh my goodness…so elegant! It tasted amazing too! Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Such fluffy, moist scones we had from this bakery. I bought a savory scone and a PB&J scone. I thought I'd get really thirsty eating a scone the size of my fist, but the texture was so perfect.

Aleka was more than accommodating for my dad’s birthday cake. He is a very picky eater when it comes to desserts, however, he loved his cake so much I had to make sure I got other treats from this bakery for everyone else.

My dad had a lemon pound cake with the sugar glaze on it.

He also loves Aleka’s sour cream coffee cake loaves and pulls out some for breakfast.

Aleka’s cake loaves also make great gifts for neighbors, as we found out.

The picture below is an assortment of goodies I got from the bakery that were already made when I came by in June. There were more in the box, but my brother ate half of the stuff before I could snap a photo. Below are macarons, baby cakes, and cake pops.

Edit: Just came by in August and grabbed another assortment of goodies they had available for my boyfriend’s birthday. Everyone loved it, especially the adults.

We hired Ally & Eloise to bake our wedding cake and they were truly a dream to work with! The cake tasting we did with them last summer was one of the most enjoyable parts of our wedding planning. The final detail planning leading up to the wedding was very smooth and then the cake was even more magical and perfect that we could have dreamed of! They were able to perfectly create the nebula/galaxy inspired cake we wanted and it was as delicious as it was gorgeous. My husband and I can't recommend them enough.

Ally and Jennifer were my saviors when it came to my May 2022 wedding. Ally is so talented, and her cakes are obviously very delicious. We decided to go with three separate cakes for our reception - Lemon/Blueberry, Strawberry and Sweet Potato- LET ME TELL YOU THERE WAS NO CAKE LEFT. EVERYTHING WAS FANTASTIC. People even reached out after the wedding to tell me how excellent the cakes were and where we got them from! Now for the rehearsal dinner, my finance and I wanted something different and were having trouble coming up with an idea. Jennifer worked with us every day until we came up with peach cobbler in individual mason jars. AGAIN, EVERYONE RAVED ABOUT THIS FANTASTIC IDEA. We cannot recommend Ally and Eloise enough for ANY upcoming celebration, holiday or special event. You and your guests will not be disappointed.

I have always been a fan of Aly and Eloise and bought their sweets for a pick me up. It was a no brainer that I wanted to use them for my wedding cake. Aleka sat down with us for our tasting and was very helpful when we were planning out all the details. Absolutely everything perfect. Our brown butter caramel cake was so incredibly moist and flavorful. It was one of the highlights of the food and lots of our guests kept saying how delicious it was. One even said it was the best wedding cake they’ve ever had. I couldn’t agree more.

This was my first time using Ally &Eloise. I needed a vegan baker for a family gathering. Ordering was easy and the turnaround time was great. I went to pick the cake up. All was well. I secured the cake and got home. When I opened it the cake had fallen apart. I was devasted and there were only a few hours before the party. I called the bakery bake to let them know what happened and they jumped into action.
The owner both remade and delivered the new cake in time to save the day! It was extremely kind and the cake was delicious. I would definitely recommend using them and will use their services again. Thank you Ally & Eloise!

I cannot recommend Ally & Eloise enough! Aleka did a phenomenal job baking our wedding cake last month. Not only were the flavors amazing (we went with an almond poundcake with raspberry filling and buttercream frosting), the artistry on our cake was beautiful and unlike any cake we have ever seen. Aleka is an extremely talented baker, artist, and a pleasure to talk with! We also had Aleka bake flavor matching macaroons (half almond and half raspberry) for our guests with gluten allergies and those also did not disappoint! We have never seen a macaroon be as large as these - absolutely worth it and very reasonably priced. We cannot wait to eat the top tier of our cake next year and pass along so many thanks to Aleka for creating a beautiful cake that received so many compliments at our wedding! This is the best wedding baker you will find in the Columbia area - from our cake tasting to the day of - Aleka made our dessert dreams come true.

They took my idea for the cake over the phone and produced something better than I imagined. Requested Happy Birthday in Japanese and they delivered with very impressive penmanship. Obviously done with care.
Very much appreciated the flexibility to pick up the cake outside normal hours. This shop accommodated every request I made. Wife was extremely happy. Thanks for the assist!

Aleka is the absolute BEST!💛 She really goes the extra mile. Her cakes and baked goods are so delicious and pleasing to everyone. I purchased one of the cinnamon rolls while at Soda City in downtown Columbia. It was the best cinnamon roll I have ever tasted in my life. The only problem was because it was so big I couldn't eat it all at once. Enough to share or save for later. Looking forward to trying other desserts from here.😋

I went to school with Allie in middle school and part of high school. She was always a sweet and genuine person then as she is now, she doesn't meet a stranger, she has the warmest smile, and her treats are absolutely delicious. My son loves him and I will always support her in her business no matter what

Thank you so much to Ally & Eloise Bakeshop for creating this wonderful cake for our one year old daughter. We had an Under the Sea themed party for her first birthday, and this bakery did a wonderful job of making a cake to fit the theme. The cake also tasted wonderful!

Been going for years! Aleka makes the only, and I mean ONLY, macarons I will eat! Not a bad thing in the shop! And my daughter requests only an A&E chocolate birthday cake every year.
