Spotlight Cinemas Capital 8

I took my son here for the Premier of Trolls 3. The staff was very friendly and polite, the environment was nice and clean. Also, the food we got from the concession (popcorn and chili cheese nachos with jalapeños) was hot and fresh. Our showing was at 1:30p on a Friday so the crowd was very low. Tickets for that showing I only paid 8 for his child's ticket and 8 for my adult ticket, best prices I have seen in a while for the movies. This was our 1st time visiting this theater, and we will definitely be back.

This theater is very clean, spacious, and has comfortable seating. The employees were very nice as well. They do have snack options to include popcorn, candy, and nachos. The prices are about what you would expect for a theater. Their popcorn is excellent!

Yes, I changed my review to 5⭐!!! In hindsight, if the theater was dirty, I would have been 😡... Thanks, Spotlight, for your attention to the details! Providing an economical, friendly, comfortable, and CLEAN movie environment 🎬. Today, at some places, good customer service is a thing of the past. Spotlight has 🔨 what RIGHT l👀ks like!.!.!.

You won't find a more reasonably priced movie theater. They don't have state of the art reclining seating, but you won't spend $30 on popcorn & a drink. The only reason not 5⭐ was that we had to wait 20 minutes for staff to clean the theater after the previous movie.

My first time at this theater. I saw After Death. I had the theater to myself. My ticket and popcorn was under $20
The seats were comfortable. The sound was just right. I will be returning next week to see Journey to Bethlehem.

(I've waited to review after 5 movie views) We enjoy making this trip across the city to come to this location. My family and I can enjoy new movies at great prices, with clean restrooms and theaters. The staff has always been nice and polite. 10/10 for sure!!!!!!

Highly recommend. Family of 6 saw a movie and ate our weight in popcorn for less than $60 with military discount. Seats were surprisingly comfortable and the sound was great too!

My family and I go every Friday night. We love it. The staff are amazing, friendly and kind. Seats are super comfy. Spotlight is our favorite cinemas to go to. The prices are great and not expensive at all. I wouldn't change anything about it.

We were a little skeptical because of the location of this theater, but we had an awesome experience here and can’t recommend this theater enough! The prices are more than reasonable, the popcorn was perfect, the staff were exceptional, and the theater and restroooms were sparkling clean, and the sound was amazing on screen. The seats are extremely generous and comfortable! I almost hate to leave a five star review because I think this is a hidden gem in Columbia, and don’t want another overcrowded theater, but I certainly want them to stay open! We will be back…often!

haven't been to a movie theater since the release of the film "THE EXORCIST"... I was extremely delighted to visit this once thriving movie theater, I watched "EQUALIZER 3" ... as I've been informed this theater was purchased and renovated by a Church, (GREAT!!)...i don't agree that The Church or any Religious organizations should allow any type of film to be presented, in a facility they own and operate, there are many wholesome, fsmily oriented, inspirational films available... otherwise a great experience...all of the seats recline comfortably without disturbing the guest behind you (AWESOME!!)

Excellent location...Had no idea there was a movie theater left on this side of town. Very clean and a very comfortable environment. Thoroughly enjoyed the movie-- the sound was spot on...I will definitely be back soon!!!

BLM. They had an event in the parking lot for the community. The Meeting Place Church.

Very nice theater. Didn't even know it was there. But got a tip that this place was open. It was $8 per person. And the normal movie concessions. Would definitely recommend coming here.

Great theater. I didn't know it was a theater this close to me. It was clean. The staff was nice. We usually drive to Harbison, but I may be going here more often than there. We really enjoyed seeing spider-verse. Thanks for making our first visit delightful.

This theater is very nice. The seats are very comfortable and roomy. We enjoyed the Little Mermaid. We will be back.

The cinema had great popcorn, refreshing and cold drinks and the seats and theater were clean and the spacious. There were people in the theater that were making the experience irritating but that is not the fault of the theater and nothing a patient person cant handle. Saw The Little Mermaid which was the premiere so very busy with kiddos. Very nice to have a good theater.

This movie was open for the community. To have a movie cinemas affordable to bring their family.
But when I went by there the discount is $6.00 on Wednesday which is a school day for the children.
On the weekends at 7:40 PM the movie is $10.00 per person. A family which most of them or below average income.
Where movie theater is in a low income community.

Great Movie theater. Just the people inside to nosy. Watched a movie today all I heard was profanity and loud talking. If someone Watch over movie section if will be more peaceful
