Regal Columbia Cinema

An older theater, not busy or crowed, with a awesome screen in theater 4. We will use this theater more often. Staff was friendly, and the popcorn was good. Trust google directions even if you think they are wrong. You end up parking on the top roof of what appears to be an abandoned building.

It's clean, has the standard snacks and it shows all the big movies. The seats are comfortable, and only started getting a little sore butt at the end of a 3 hour movie. Sound and screens are what you expect at a theater. Can't really ask for anything else in a movie theater. Solid.

My boyfriend introduced me to this Cinema. I never knew it existed until tonight. There was plenty of parking. The parking lot was clean The theater was clean and the bathroom was clean. We saw Black Panther. The movie was Exceptional!!! My people really entertained with their excellent acting. I am so proud!!! I will be back to this Cinema to watch Black Panther AGAIN ❤

Love this place cool and has the best staff not like Sandhills or Columbiana I want this place to get a huge update on everything

First time back to a movie theater since last year. Staff wore masks and were very friendly. Was the only person in my theater. Place was very clean. Loved it. Can't wait to go back.

They have that old school theater feel that used to make going to the movies a destination not just a stop along the day. They're definitely my preferred theater in the area. Having a friendly and very personable staff makes this a favorite place to visit when I'm in town.

Wasn't too crowded.We had perfect seats to view the big screen. Popcorn was freshly made. I put the right amount of butter, at the self serve counter.

Love this theater. Hate that no one really attending. We were only 3 in theater. Hope it survives because it's always been one of my favorites in Cola.

Great theatre! They offer student discount without an ID. Also, you have to drive through this super creepy parking garage to get there-but don't worry! It's legit

I've always loved going to rooftop. It reminds me of the small town theater with the way the staff is so friendly and helpful! The GM is really nice and they're bathrooms just got renovated.

Why do I love? LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. This theater is located atop of what should be the premiere mall in the Columbia area. Cannot wait for the day that this mall is stocked full with cool stores. Ownership! Get it together! you're missing out on a gravy train. The local area is dying for this place to go hard after retail and foodie business. Regal! don't give up, stay around, the locals will support you!

Took my Goddaughter to the movies this morning. Regal Cinemas is offering $1 movies (specific ones each week) on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for the summer. Today we watched "Ferdinand"! Very cute movie! Suggest to bring a light jacket or small blanket because it tends to get a little cold inside the theater.

I enjoyed this theater. First time there and the lines were perfect, nice size. It felt like it was when u used to go as a kid. My go to theater for now on🤷🏽‍♀

Date night is always fun here. As always the snacks are overpriced at all theaters. The seating was good, clean theaters, nice staff. Wasn’t too crowded when I visited so service was fast.

This is my favorite theater in Columbia. It still has that 80s/90s vibe that reminds me of going to the movies as a kid. Some would call that outdated but since I used to be a projectionist at other theaters I just really like the atmosphere. The screens are large and wide. No stadium seating but again, that's part of the charm. Being attached to the Richland Mall doesn't help it's cause but I hope it never closes. I can see how it would one day though.

Very cute little theater, cozy, and reminds me of the good ol times. Come play a round of hydro thunder and catch a movie. Very friendly staff and the best popcorn I've ever had. Great experience.

Went here as a child and the vibe it gave off is still the same. Wish it still had the attention it use to though. Please show support to this historic theater they deserve it.

I would recommend this theater, one recommendation/suggestion is that Google advises out of state visitors of the driving directions, (e.g., communicating with Barnes and Noble for directions, thankfully we asked for directions, had we not, we wouldn't have been aware of its location).

I've only been once but it's a really cool theater with a very hospitable staff.

actually just went there today and the rest of the mall is completely runt down (other than the barnes and noble) but if you get one of the newest movies you have a GINORMOUS room where there are tons and tons and tons of seats and a GINORMOUS screen!!!!
