The Philly cheese steak is bangin'! The staff is so friendly and the owner is more than happy to come over, recommend some wine and chat for a bit. The decor is sultry and cozy. Great for a large group or a romantic date night.
Updated review: Feb 2024. Came here for a drink and an appetizer around 730 on a Saturday evening. Even though it was busy, the service was friendly and prompt and the food was served in a timely manner. We had the duck poutine and it was delicious. This cocktail bar continues to be one of our go-to spots for a sexy date-night that boasts an impressive wine menu and satisfying comfort food.

Prompt and informative server. Reasonably priced martinis. Large drink menu.

The food is absolutely worth more than the cost. I would pay more to eat their delicious salmon and their mussels. The staff is great and the atmosphere is classic old world pub style. Incredible cocktails and desserts as well.

Best mussels I've had, meticulous detail in preparing them. Never unopened, never cracked always delicious. Wine selection is on point and the owner is great.

Great atmosphere, casual gastropub style restaurant and bar that is home to great wine and food in a pleasant but funky)in a good way!) atmosphere. The owner is great and Goats has definitely earned its place as a locals staple.

It is a little dark at night but over all it is ver aesthetic. Their fry’s are to dye for they are SO good. I suggest to eat at this place.

One of the more “grown up” establishments in the 5 points. They offer high quality Beers including Belgiums and some nice drafts.

One of the friendliest and nicest bars in town. I'd call it an upscale pub with a dark, cheerful and relaxed interior. It's nice to have a place in 5-points where adults and college students can happily coexist, though they mostly cater to professionals of all ages. I'm so thankful these guys are still serving Columbia after all these years, including the 38 years I can personally vouch for. Highly recommend a visit.

My first time at Goat's and I must say it was definitely delicious and it won't be my last time! A must try!!! The 3 cheese lobster mac is to die for!

I found another gem. Located in 5 points, more of an older adult place. Love the vibe and the food was delicious. Not to busy which I love. Service was great and the ambiance was great. Would definitely go there again.

Went here on a Tuesday night with some of my friends and I loved the cozy atmosphere. The drinks (lemon aloe, and the lavendar drink) were great and the fries with my burger were soooo good. This place will definitely be added to my list of places to go to in Columbia.

Love this place for it's cozy, unique atmosphere. It looks and feels pretty much like it has since the early 1990's. Tons of perfected cocktails to choose from and the food and desserts are wonderful too. This is a great place for a date night or hanging out with friends.

Coolest speakeasy style bar in Columbia. The wait staff is top notch, especially Nicole. Opie, the owner is awesome! I'd highly recommend the CheeseSteak if you're hungry!

My partner took me here for my birthday and it was the perfect place to get food and drinks! We didn't have to wait at all for a table on a Saturday night which was fantastic. I ordered the beef bourguignon and it was very flavorful and filling. We also ordered the garlic frites which were amazing! My partner had the mussels in a cream sauce and he thoroughly enjoyed that. The prices were great too. Will definitely be coming back!

I'm embarrassed to say I've lived in Columbia for over 10 years, and this is my first time eating here and it was amazing!

Nice atmosphere. Nice small selection of dinner options and deserts. Big on vine selections. I had a cheese cake.

Excellent spot with great food, drinks, and service.
