From the greeting with a genuine, welcoming smile from the ladies at the front desk until my appointment ended was better than a 5 star experience. Everyone on this staff is professional and they take you on time - no long waiting room time. Dr. Bethea is the absolute best! I have recommended him to everyone I know.

This was my first time going to Bethea Family Dentistry and I must say that you guys have a new patient! Everyone was so nice ace welcoming. The atmosphere was professional and laid back. My dental hygienist Briana took her time cleaning my teeth and we had a great conversation. Dr. Bethea was very nice and professional. All of the staff were great! I felt very welcomed. I very much appreciate a personal feel when it comes to healthcare. Often times these visits can feel rushed, impersonal, or emotionally sterile. This was NOT my experience at Bethea Family Dentistry. The front desk personnel were very professional, especially Latevia, who had a sunshiny type of voice in addition to being welcoming, and efficient. The lady in charge of checkout/insurance was able to schedule me in last minute and helped me understand my insurance coverage and we got payment sorted. Dr. Bethea was very nice, had a very confident but calming vibe about him, and introduced himself and asked personal questions that made it feel he was present and attentive during the exam. My hygienists, BJ and the lady with the short gray hair, were so pleasant and my x-rays and cleaning were painless and comfortable. Best cleaning I’ve had in years! I also loved reading the awards and recognition posted in the waiting area. I felt like I was in very good hands. Being a new patient, knowing this practice was rated best in Columbia by the community gave me confidence I was in the right place before I even stepped into the exam room. I love finding places that value making a positive difference in their communities and to find a dentist aimed at doing so was like finding a hidden treasure in Columbia.

Best experience ever. Took his time with me. Explained my situation and has a plan to correct my issues. Staff is very friendly and professional. Made me feel comfortable. This is my first time visiting a dentist and I feel comfortable with my treat. Will definitely recommend them. 😊

Dr. Gary Bethea and staff are professional and excellent. I had an awkward awesome experience bc I had insurance issues but Dr. Bethea stood by his word of helping/serving the community and took good care of me. Great place for people of all ages, races, ethnicities. #5 STARS!!

The staff was truly amazing. BJ was thorough and on point. She was very attentive, compassionate and thoughtful. Dr Bethea came in and went over my findings and we discussed my treatment plan. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Bethea and staff at Bethea Family Denistry are great and very professional! They’re always welcoming and truly treats you like family. You’re never sitting in the waiting room long. Flexible scheduling to accommodate ones availability.

Dr. Bethea takes his time to explain “in great details” the full process before, during and after any cleanings, treatments or extractions. Truly knows how to ease one’s mind when nervous about getting any dental work done.

During my last dental visit, the Dentist came out and spoke to his patients waiting in the Lobby. The hygienist that performed my cleaning was awesome and detailed every step of the way.

Doctor Stackhouse was amazing!! My son has had 2 different traumatic experiences with dentists in the Columbia area so I was really nervous taking him to another dentist, when I brought him in I explained the situation and how he was scared to get any work done on his mouth. The staff was extremely friendly very patient and treated him extremely well. My son was extremely happy with how he was treated and is looking forward to going back. If you’re looking for a patient friendly dentist this is the place to go! Also the office was very clean!
