Grandma's Desserts Etc

Discovered this cute bakery a while back at an event. The German chocolate cake and honey walnut pie was delicious! Reminds me of how my grandma would make her cakes. I can't stand a box cake and can always tell if I'm eating one but there cake and that pie taste like it was homemade. Which is always a plus in my book considering I was raised in the country so I know good cooking when I taste it! And the staff are all family. So sweet and professional. I'll be using them to cater my thanksgiving and Christmas dinner this year too.

Grandma's Desserts Lemon Cake was amazing. Just the right amount of frosting to the incredibly moist lemon cake. Customer service was wonderful as well. Great Cake and very nice people!

The Best Christmas Present Was Being Blessed With Knoledge Of Them Being Open Every Monday For Slices And Mini Pie Etc, Beautifully Spirited People You Truly Taste The Love In The Food. I Have Never Experienced As Much Consistency With Quality Desserts As I Have With GD, I Would Highly Recommend The Red Velvet, Carmel,Strawberry,And Carrot Cake.And Dont Get Me Started On The Sweet Potato Pie Yall This Is No Five Dollar Patty Pie, If I Had To Rate It On A Pay Scale I Would Pay $50 For A Slice(Ridiculous Right? Wrong, If U Have Never Tried It). If You Haven't Tried This Hidden Gem In Memphis You Are Missing Out I Have Personally Tried Almost Everything On The Menue(Even Coconut Which I Absolutely Dispise) And To My Astonishment I Licked Container Clean Is All I Have To Say.

I ordered a half strawberry cake today around 2pm and was able to pick it up 6pm and it's gone by 9pm delicious best strawberry cake ever and to the lady who said put the rest in the refrigerator it didn't make it lol thanks alot it was great

OMG! I am a very picky eater but when I say this place has the best Italian Cream Cake and the pasta salad is to die for! I'll be trying the sweet potato pie next.

I ordered a graham cracker crust sweet potato pie; it was awesome! And the spinach chicken lasagna.

Saw them on Facebook and had to check them out. Ok so let's say I demolished their sweet potato pie! Trust that I'll be back again!

They are great people, but I drove there expecting to get to buy some desserts. Apparently you have to call in and place orders. It makes sense for how highly they are recommended. Still, they should put that up somewhere for people who don't know.
