I was there after work about 3:45pm. I was out by or before 4:30 with a fully now Tennessee registered vehicle! Great job clerks! Yes there was a lot of people!

Love making the long line. Great customer service. Rolled eyes is a good sign at this place. Front officer was super helpful. Everyone make a line he said I hope he gets paid right If it wasn’t for him I’d be lost

You can tell the staff are well trained.

Walked in and was greeted by a friendly and humorous guard that gave me a ticket number. Spent about 30 minutes waiting and 15 minutes with the clerk who was very attentive to me. Also I had recent neck surgery and the guard got me a chair to sit in without me even asking.

Word of advice to make your time there worthwhile.
1. Do your research and know what information you need to bring with you before you go.
2. If you’re unsure, don’t waste your time and go sit there. Call them. Email them. Research what you need on their website. It tells you everything you need to know. As hard as it is to get in touch with them through phone just don’t go in there blind sided. It wastes your time, makes you mad, and frustrates the clerks.

Also idk if it’s temporarily out or not but those clerks deserve air conditioning.

I arrived at 730 am to get my place in line for the office to open at 9. I was number 10 in line.
When I got in I was surprised to find 4 or 5 employees ready to assist, normally there were only 2.
Tychell helped me and she was very courteous and took extra care to help me with my situation of adding a owner to my title. I want her to know how much I appreciated her help.

Security guards were amazing. Funny & nice. Everything was organized. Had a row of seats in the hallway to wait to get inside. We only waited about an hour. Renewed our plates online over a month ago and never received them. Just had to show ID & plate number to get it replaced.

I had a great experience today, from security to our clerk Brianna Brown. The line was out the door in 100°. The security officers were very nice to let people in quickly, double lines and down the hallway. My son left his driver's license at home. Brianna was so kind with her suggestions. She told us to go get it and we would not have to wait in line again. Even with our trip home, we were in and out in 90 minutes!! Now that is efficiency!! She even congratulated my son on his first vehicle!

I transferred a title for a travel trailer I just purchased at the Clerk's office today. Be prepared to stand outside for a long while, and please read the list of acceptable identifications they will accept. I had to go home to get a water bill and return, because my driver's license alone wouldn't suffice. All together, with the 20 minute trip home and back, it took 2 hours. Lot's of standing. But the staff there was very nice, knowledgeable and helpful.

If you need Tags, this the place to come!!!! A very simple process and I was out of there in 30 minutes. Of course you need to be as early as you can, but the staff is doing a great job of getting people in and out. Come in order and you will leave quickly. Definitely worth the drive.

Going to go against the grain here and say my experience was fine.
There was a wait, but the clerks can’t totally help that. The clerk I got was friendly and quick and got the job done.

It really wasn't bad and I waited the last minute to get my tags before they expired in June (June 28th 2021). I did have to wait outside which was to be expected due to the 6' rule. The line did move quickly. All together it was an hour. They do have kiosks to get your tags, but I did not have the paper. I remembered my tags by memory and my correct address is on my DL. I gave it 5 stars for the friendly staff and the male security guard was keep us entertained with his stand up comedy.

I don’t think anyone looks forward to going to ANY government office but this clerk’s office ROCKS!! It’s still Covid-19 season so when my husband and I pulled up to this location (right after they opened), there was a decent line that had started up. We decided to park and watch the line to see how quickly it moved or IF it even moved at all since we had spent 6 hours at the Oakland location 2 weeks prior for licenses.

It only took a few seconds to see that the line was consistently moving so we decided to jump in around 80 people deep. We waited MAYBE 30 minutes?!?! Omg, it was AWESOME. The people were so nice and the set up they have there to get people in and out is the best I’ve seen yet.

Great experience all the way around and you can visit Shelby Farms afterwards! Win win.

New month new car Old line. Employees nice, professional and patient. They closed stations during pandemic too slow to reopen . Time to re-elect new county clerk. They don‘t have enough call takers.

It took me 1 hour total to get my tags. They scan your temperature outside and give you a wristband. Once inside the main entrance you stand in line and get scanned again then go through the metal detector. Then you stand on an ✖ on the floor and move up as they call next in line. Only a few people are allowed inside at one time

I normally go to the office on Exeter in Germantown but it has closed. My first time at Mullins Station Office. I was saddened by the need for such security measures that are in place there. I felt like I was at the Memphis Airport not the Cnty Clerks Office. Metal detectors, empty your pockets. If those measures are that necessary at that location I say thank you for keeping me safe. The young lady at the plate renewal counter was most polite and very efficient. Thank You for that!!! All in all I rated my experience 5 star based on the quality of the necessary security measures in place and the efficiency and politeness of all the personnel. It just shocked me and I felt very uncomfortable.

I got my license and Ms. Barbara waited on me. She was so sweet and energetic, she made me laugh, I was so comfortable with her, my day was made. Ms. Barbara is the kind of person u could talk to all day. Love her!

Kevin at the Mullins Station County Clerk office was the most helpful person. Everyone there was nice and polite. There are extra precautions due to COVID when entering the building but it did not seem to slow anyone down. I came in today (a Wednesday around 10am) to get 2 new cars tagged and titled, but it only took about 30 mins.

i wanted to share my applause for this particular Shelby County Clerks DVM. Never had such an easy experience even "prior to Covid". what a wonderful job they are doing. I was in line, and out of the office with my registration and Tennessee plates in approx. 50 minutes. Awesome!

Best experience imaginable given the circumstances. The clerks were extremely helpful, went above and beyond to help me with my situation and very knowledgeable. The wait was long and to be expected but, there are multiple locations in the city. Thank you to our government employees

I have been going there to get my tags renewed for the past few years. The staff is polite and the service is quick. I'm usually in and out in 10 minutes or less as long as I don't go on a Monday.
