I have known and had insurance with Clinton for over 20 years- he is just like you and wants the best coverage for the most reasonable costs. He is always available to talk and discuss options and coverages and you can count on his professional opinion to be accurate/based in real experience because he has seen it all- even in his own personal experience. It always feels reassuring that he understand what our needs/budgets require and helps us fit insurance into that.

If I could give this review a zero I would, no doubt about it. I'm not one to waste my time on writing reviews, but I feel like I have to let people know how terrible Clinton Caswell's customer service is (and everyone in that branch, but especially his.) I have lost count on how many times Clinton has promised to get things done on our auto & mortgage accounts and failed to do so (after initially messing up the accounts himself in the first place.) Many many times I've felt like right after I spoke with him he would immediately laugh at me and purposely not fix things on my account. I have lost my patience with this habitual lying person. Do yourselves a favor and stay away from this insurance.

The one time I needed to file an insurance claim, I found out that I don't even have insurance because of a miscommunication with Clinton. In full disclosure, the fault is partially mine but I feel that Clinton & American Family have failed me horribly in two ways

1. Last year I tried to get my auto insurance policy switched to my online account after I got a divorce so I would be listed as the policy holder and receive all the account notifications. Clinton said that he couldn't change any of the online stuff. This prevented me from seeing that the auto insurance auto payment didn't go through as it should have.

2. When I was forwarded an email which stated that one of our insurance policies had been canceled, I called my ex-wife who stated that she talked to Clinton that very day and the issue was one of the auto payments didn't go through, so she gave Clinton her payment info and he would take care of it. It turns out that there were 2 policies which were unpaid and one had been canceled, so the auto insurance was never renewed.

A few days later a truck driving in front of me hit a barrier and flipped debris towards my vehicle and has left me with $1500-2000 repair bill that American Family refuses to pay. The one time I've actually needed my insurance in 10 years and I don't even have it. Thanks for nothing.
