Eccles Art Center

We went down to see my grandson art piece that had been entered in a competition. It was our first time ever being here and it was absolutely amazing! The Art Center is Beautiful they have so many wonderful pieces displayed including our grandson piece. He actually placed first place in one of the categories and won $1000 scholarship. So extremely proud of him! What a wonderful opportunity this has been for him .
The staff was amazing they answered so many questions about this beautiful and well maintained building. They even stayed late to make sure we were able to see the carriage house. We truly appreciate all they did for us. They were so kind and polite. Thank you for a wonderful evening
Eccles Art Center !

This place is so much fun. We came here for Art in Bloom and loved it. I like that the building is historical and the way they set things up was very creative. It was fun to see all of the paintings, ceramic, floral art inside with the vendors outside. This could definitely become a yearly tradition for us. Great attraction for Ogden. We loved it!

What an amazing place. Constantly changing it's arts exhibits. They also have so many activities for kids, adults and couples. Love that they also reach out to the community. This month they are having a fundraisers, to help students that might be struggling with food. You. Buy a ticket and get a Bowl 🥣 made by the students and you get to enjoy and nice meal and a great atmosphere. Love what they do and what they stand for. Recommend stoping by if you are in the area.

Filled with beautiful local artwork, the 1890 architectural splendor is in itself art.
This center recently hosted a contest of interpretation. Local florists were asked to create a floral arrangement which would reflect one of the paintings displayed in the Eccles Art Center.
Each rendition was stunning. I marveled at the vision and creativity of the artists; both painter and florist.
An absolutely beautiful evening; time well spent. And of course, the gift shop has beautiful ,unique pieces of jewelry, pottery, and other creations.

This would be a great place to begin the 5:00pm First Friday Art Stroll. Hurry to see October's gorgeous colorful cloud-enhancing landscape paintings of Mac Stevenson (magenta sky? yes, unexpected and perfect) & the wooden bowl art of Joe Deru in the Main Gallery. (A virtual tour of their exhibits is online.) The house itself is worth walking through to admire. It is seasonally decorated. Upstairs there is a collection of vintage cameras, numerous paintings of this house, and other things to see. The Carriage House has more art and a gift shop. Very nice area inside and out.

Travis gave my brother and I a nice tour and we had a great conversation. If you're interested in art, architecture, and Utah history this is the place for you! (It's free too which is nice)

Eccles is a true treasure of the Ogden community and a pleasure to visit anytime.

A fantastic historic building chock full of interesting historical objects and creations by local artisans. The Eccles Community Art Center is an amazing place to visit and enjoy the monthly exhibits. Right now there is an excellent antique camera exhibit to check out.

The Victorian style home, was built in 1893 of red brick imported from the midwest and red sandstone from northern Utah.

The Eccles Community Art Center (ECAC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to stimulate interest, foster awareness, and provide education in all visual and performing arts.

You can participate in events, create art and join design competitions.They also offer classes in visual, diverse, literary, health & happiness and performing arts.

Support local Art!

Free museum with shows of the community. They switch in and out each month! Lots of history, and cool relics. There’s an art council and many projects being supported. Make sure to look up the first Friday art stroll, every first Friday evening of the month!

Eccles art show was amazing! Lots of great vendors and great artists on display.

This is a really fun, interesting place to check out. I've lived in Ogden most of my life and never visited until two days ago. It is definitely worth stopping by. Everyone was helpful and gave us even more information about more art viewing opportunities.

We came for dinner chamber music from a piano quintet. Very intimate venue with nice acoustics.

The art show was fabulous! It's unbelievable that high school students can you create such beautiful artwork! This is my beautiful niece in front of her painting.

A beautiful place with an amazing sense of artistic preservation. My wife and I were just walking by and we saw the lights on, wandered in and were treated to an amazing bird themed art gallery. They apparently have classes and teach several things. I loved this place and we will be making time to visit it again when we can!

What a jewel! When we visited, the exhibition was of regional art and there were several truly outstanding pieces. The building is worth a visit all by itself! The gift shop in the carriage house is very nicely curated and has many items to delight any art lover.
