This is great! My kids wanted to go to a park that they hadn't been to before, one with a river or a pond, a playground, a place to play, picnic spot, a place to fish, or activities to do. This park has all of those things! Plus historic significance. Definitely worth a visit!

Very beautiful park, but I was there for the disc golf! Loved the course, fun and difficult, yet calm and peaceful! I would visit often if I lived closer

Great historic buildings and fun activities. Miles Goodyear's fort was rebuilt on its original location. Canoeing, camping, Frisbee golf, hiking and Mountain Man reenactments and huge Rendezvous. Help support local and enjoy beautiful scenery and recreation. This time of year it is peaceful and uncrowded.

Easter Rendezvous is the first event to start the year at Fort Buenaventura. Many fun period things and people to see. Many friendly vendors. A good bargain at $2 per person for a few hours of history. No food vendors but prepackaged peanut butter or cheese crackers and canned sodas at the information center. (Maybe food inside the wood fort).

Great little park hidden away in Ogden. The grounds are beautiful, lake with canoe rentals, campsites, picnic areas, playground, reconstructed trapper's fort and on many weekends Mountain Man re-enactments.

For the past 2 years, MP USA and Vibravision have held private Martial Arts and Meditation classes at Fort Buenaventura Park. It is absolutely beautiful, the grounds are kept clean, the trails are excellent for barefoot running, and parking is excellent! This is, by far, my favorite location for classes in the park. If anyone is considering reserving this place for a special event, I highly recommend it!

Great place and taken care of by great people.
It is an oasis of trees and nature right in the middle of the city.
Aside for the occasional sound coming from the trains you would never know you were in Ogden if you just woke up there.
I do recommend a visit here.

Camped here for the Easter weekend Rendezvous. It was fantastic. Only $40 to camp for the weekend. It's wooded enough that it feels like regular camping, but with perfect cell service! We really loved the Friday night Camp potluck with their *enormous* pot of soup and stories around the campfire. Nothing can compare to that feeling of community. They have great activities for kids. Our daughter loved finding a couple of the "dinosaur eggs" that get hidden for kids to find early every morning. She was so excited to break them open and find the treasures inside.

The best course I have ever played. Huge area, big holes. Technical shots. Loads of shade. We went memorial day weekend and it was almost too cold in the shade. Almost. There are holes you have to throw over a river. So much fun and very pretty. I will be back.

I've been here plenty of times walking around camping riding the cones, you know etc. So now this year was a bit different than most of the other years. The new host are more like your best friend there amazing they have every thing open. The prices you can't complain. Just try it you won't regret trust me.😎 by the fishs are hungry we had them bite unlucky to catch one but next time we will good luck.

Can't believe we haven't come here before. Nice place to walk around with kids. Playground is nice and disc golf course is fun (though a bit confusing on the front end). I'd like to come back and rent a rowboat for an hour.

Love the parc. nice historic fort (remake). A little fee and a half day of fun. Even the kids liked it.

Disc golf- executive what I imagined for a course of this caliber. A few water passes, tunnels, challenging mandos, and even as a beginner I didn't lose any discs. The course definition favors accuracy over distance.

They some nice short walking trails. A small pond creek to fish and canoe in. Many bathrooms plenty of room for camping and activity space.
