Azle City Hall

A big thanks to The permit clerk, Madra Messick! She is the nicest person I have ever met. She is kind,patient and trying to help whatever she can! I just started my business here and I had a very good start with Mandra. Thank you! A thank you to all the people from Azle too!Every single person I met so far is very nice.

The staff are dedicated to serve the communities needs while assisting citizens individual needs. I walked in unexpectedly, and was able to visit with the development of planning Director David Hawkins who helped me decide to purchase a rental property, helped me with deed restrictions , future ideas for the property, over the top smart and courteous. Carrie Dudley who works upfront has helped me on numerous occasions, she is so kind, funny and really gets the job done. It’s fun to watch her multi-task, answer the phones while talking to several customers at once. Lol As a retired City employee at another municipality I get it and know the difference of Cities and their service. Azle wins hands down!

The city manager has visited with me as well regarding some marketing that was being displayed in the city and he was so funny and cool, that guy will never forget any of these fine employees at the city of Azle. This is why I plan on continuing to do business in Azle Texas and fly I live in Azle Texas. Great job!

I waited to the last minute to go get the details for Defensive Driving and thought it was going to be a long drawn out experience. Amber was the administrator and she exceed my expectations. Not only was it significantly easier a process than I expected, but Amber was super pleasant and easy to work with. She rocks and represents Azle at the highest level. I hope I never get another ticket but if I have to interact with her again I know it will be painless.

Beautiful new facilities. Great staff taking care of citizens, city services and community operations.

Update -maybe it was a bad day but today this lady Debbie has a happy aa** welcoming voice helped and explained to me what happened - communication is key! Have never had a issue - great small town to live in way to go ladies !!

Efficient, friendly, everything in one place. What a nice place compared to labyrinth of larger cities.

They allow raw sewage into the lake for 30 yrs now, Mountain View Edition Sewage Pump Station is dysfunctional. Raw sewage flowing into the lake for 4 hrs today, and every heavy rain. Pumping out into my neighbors backyards . And a new housing Edition is going to tie into this ongoing nitemare.

I have never experienced such horrible customer service. The permit clerk, Madra Messick, was an absolute horror to work with when trying to obtain my permit. Each time I tried to ask questions regarding my permit, she treated me as if I was in the wrong and incompetent even though it is her job to answer permit questions... I am shocked someone with such poor customer service skills is allowed to represent our city. So sad and concerning.

Absolutely horrible customer service. The people working at city hall must be held there against their will. You can’t even ask questions without an insane amount of attitude and rudeness. My root canal was more enjoyable than obtaining a permit.

These people are terrible. I called to see if I could reschedule my court date and they said I had to come in today before 5 in order to do it. Get there and they say oh you can't reschedule this one. So after I call them and ask them and they could have told me over the phone that it couldn't be rescheduled I had to go all the way up there for it. Not to mention the jail itself if so under kept it's ridiculous.

The lady that works the front desk for the court side needs to learn better customer service skills. Anytime talking to her she wants to raise her voice on the phone and be super disrespectful and pop a horrible attitude.
